Chapter 103 My First Business Goes Live! by Harem-Fan
Sunday was full of some movers coming to personalize and finish Tina and Jenifer's rooms. It was far easier due to both women's rooms being simple and plain in their rooms' needs.
Daniel Feng the Leader of the Fire Birds called me personally to let me know, I am now officially the Vice Leader of the Fire Birds until he steps down. He wants to have lunch with me in the near future to make plans. He assured me that Tina can still do her current duties in my place. So next Sunday after Disneyland, Tina and I will eat out with him.
That Sunday, I had Tina on one arm and Linda on the other trading challenging glances and using me as a tug-o-war stuffed-toy. I loved it.
Monday to Thursday was the normal life of University, computer-work, and Harem life, with Tina really making me work hard once Thursday night came around, and that poor closet-bed really tried hard to keep up with her. The best part, she really wore that maid-outfit she promised, and I was able to live out my maid-fantasy with Tina! Despite what she said, we got plenty of sleep that night.
What about my personal maid squad? Well Jenifer still calls me Master like Mercy and Mei, but I not once have asked about who's maid she truly is now, because she is now calling Tina by her name like a close friend.
Mercy and I are doing our regular workouts and now martial-arts sparring. Our relationship was not affected by our talk. She is truly just taking her job seriously and making Mei pick up her game as a maid.
Mei? She is so excited about going to Disneyland this Sunday, that I can feel her pent up longing for it. She even printed out the Park's Map to make a plan of attack. Her long held dream of going there is stronger than I first thought.
I had lunch with uncle Anthony during the week to get his permission and coupons from the Tang businesses to put in my new Harem-Chat Company.
When I found out Big Burger was one of my Uncle's businesses I got excited. He said when I graduate, he would give me the whole Fast-food Chain as my graduation gift. Fuck Yeah! I can own my favorite burger-joint!
And now that pretty-much updates the highlights of the week until this current Friday afternoon as I wait for Victoria.

I am in the hall waiting for her class to let out. I am wearing my black tieless suit because we are not doing University work, but going to one of her board meetings for the soft launch of Harem-Chat with the new features added.
I had worked with Lucy Shen online to finish the Beta for the soft open launch.
The doors opened and soon after a student was done with a question for Vick, she came out smiling at me.
"Let us go and launch your business, Rick."
I walk with her and correct her.
"Nope, you're the 1st wife, so it is our business. Now let's make some money hopefully?!"
She gave me her keys and even with students still out, the two of us got in the car as I drove to the Velvet Tower.
About the other students seeing us? Vicky does not care about rumors, due to the fact our file is sealed and no one can prove anything other than we eat dinner on Fridays as we work on class assignments.

Benz pretends he does not see anything on elevator rides, but I occasionally see him nod to himself with a grin.
Vicky lets me off on the 39th floor and tells me.
"I am going up to shower and change for the meeting, so go find Lucy Shen and you will be in the meeting as her assistant to hide your involvement. Just have her talk for you in the meeting while you both sit in for it. So see you in a while."
She kissed me with only Benz on board, but just a peck.
Ding! The doors closed behind me and I walked down the long glass-wall corridor to the left-sides computers department.

A few employees looked at me in wonder, because I normally don't come here this early, but seeing my clothing and confidence no one questions me due to them knowing I already am familiar with this place.
Knock Knock! I knocked on Lucy Shen's office door and I heard a soft voice.
[Rick, come on in, I have been waiting for you.]
Click! I see the electronic door unlock with a green-light above the doorknob, to show its open. So I let myself in.
The glasses-wearing woman is behind a computer bank of 5 computer monitors lined up with three side by side, and two held over the three for a HUD looking formation.
She almost looks like a pro-gamer playing as her own team with the way she is typing like a chipmunk on coffee. She is definitely as fast as me with her Computer Use Skill. While still typing, she smiled at me and said.
"I am just sending some of this to the copy-room for those suits, it won't take long Rick, so just help yourself to my refrigerator there, you can get a beer if you like."
I then do just that, and grab my favorite brand of domestic, Miller Lite. No, I don't drink it for the low calories part, but it has a softer beer taste I just enjoy.
After popping the top and taking a sip, I began to look around her large office. Naturally the first thing I notice is this early 30's lady.
Her long black-crimson-hair is shiny, and her red framed glasses just makes her look youthful. Her outfit is a knee-length white-dress with long-sleeves, and it's just loose enough to not be constrictive.
I see on her desk and table behind her a few pictures of movie-stars and the night at the Velvet Lounge. But I noticed Vicky and I are in a couple. Then something did not add up with her different pictures.
"Hey Lucy, I don't see a picture of your husband?"
Tap Tap Tap! She just kept typing and never slowed as she surprised me.
"Hum? Yeah, that is because I have never had one. I only tell others that so men don't hound me for dates. I had a fiance once, but he broke it when I could not bear children after my accident. So it was pointless to find a partner after that. That is how life kicks you when you are down. But I am fine."
Fuck! I seem to know how to bring up others' sad pasts.
Now that I think about it, Kim is not as bad off as Lucy is, right? No man will let a woman in his harem if she can't make a baby. It is like a man with Erectile Dysfunction, making the woman pointless except for sex.
"I knew you had an accident, but sorry I didn't know about the husband thing. There are men out there that don't care about that, you know?"
Her hands never stopped even when she looked at me and still looked happy, despite my words. She told me while looking at the bottom right monitor.
"No point in being sorry, not like you can help me with it, right? On that screen is the list of cleaned and ready to use new features for the meeting, double check them."
I stand next to Lucy and look at what she had put in for the presentation.
The main thing both Victoria and I had added, that I had honestly overlooked, was the Event Planner! This feature had things for scheduling dates, sleeping arrangements like at my home, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Appointments, and even things for children, including a separate channel for the harems under-aged kids to be given family reminders and events.
There is more, but these must be given to users slowly to not overwhelm them.
While I was confirming, Lucy took my beer and took a drink then handed my bottle back like it was nothing?!
"Sorry, my throat was dry from talking, thanks."
I shrug because this is no Japan Empire anime of indirect-kisses or anything, so I just ignored it.
Who knew this woman saw the indirect-kiss thing as a big deal?! I had no idea the stupid thoughts this woman was having, nor did I notice she had stopped typing because her imagination was a bit special.
"This feature for reminders will save me in my harem that is for fucking sure! This was a great idea Lucy."
She then stood from her computer-chair and told me.
"Rick, sit here and look, I am done with my work, so just be comfortable while you finish, fufu."
So I did, and Lucy would occasionally lean over my shoulder pointing out some places to improve for the 1.2 versions to come.
During the ten minutes we worked, I almost had a feeling she sniffed my hair, but it could also have been the air-conditioning of the server-room.
I noticed she had a strawberry body spray, like Vicky's vanilla, probably the same company and she gets it from Vicky. Lucy occasionally drank from my beer and got me a new one. I am feeling she is maybe intentionally doing this, but I could also be imagining this.
Lucy patted my shoulders and told me.
"Oh, Rick! I forgot to mention it, but I also was invited onto the cruise from the Ben group, so will you also be my bodyguard on the week long trip? I have to inspect the hardware on the Island Resort for our Long Enterprise, so it is business for me?"
Her blue-eyes look down into mine waiting for a positive response, and I think it is fine because I was not getting paid anyway and was using it as an excuse to carry my guns.
"I guess I can make it a pro-bono contract, so I can carry my guns, and you will be with Vicky, right?"
Lucy hugged my neck from behind and told me.
"Here is a hug in advance! It won't be for free, You get a hug each day for bodyguard work, Ufufu."
Just before it was starting to get uncomfortable, she let me go and her face was now professional looking as she picked up her things.
"Let us go Rick, we have a meeting now, so fun-time is over. Bring your computer with us and we will communicate with our private chat for the deals."
I took my briefcase and followed the now quiet and reserved Lucy Shen out. Seeing her act her age is now strange, now that I am used to her friendly-side.

Lucy and I walk into the elevator and head down to the 38th floor where the company holds all of its board meetings, and the members all have offices on this floor separate from the corporate hustle and bustle of the floor above. Here it is quiet and perfect for VIPs of the company to work and meet.
The 38th floor has three board rooms, the largest on the north-side, and two smaller ones on the east and west sides. Then for the ten Executive Officers a lavish office is available to them here for their personal and business use.
The central lobby has all of the Executive Officers secretaries manning the desks and answering calls. An example is one of the executive officer's are in-charge of the Star Entertainment Group while another is in-charge of a select group of restaurants and so forth.
And from the 11th floor to the 37th floor are many of the main business offices of the big companies under Victoria, so yes, my wife holds a lot of economic power.
On the 13th floor is the main office for Star Entertainment, and even has a recording studio there on the 12th floor and a TV station on the 11th floor for the group as well. Mainly shows like radio and some smaller ones for online-interviews. The company naturally has a full studio for films and shows in the northwest for movies.
My thoughts wandered off as I followed Lucy into the main-boardroom and saw it was the size of Vicky's office with a full refreshments bar to the left side of the room, opposite of where Vicky sits on the right side of the long-table. She still has not shown and will come last.
Out of the ten officers, 9 of them are women with only 1 young man. Well young for a major player, he is probably in his mid 20's?
The man's name is Keven Kyoto. 25 years old with black-hair and green-eyes. He is average build and has Basic Karate as his martial arts. He is in-charge of printed media and bookstores. This includes international products like foreign anime, light-novels, and films.
The oldest woman from a Long Subordinate Family, and most powerful of the executive officers is Pam Sun. She is 45 years old and is blonde with blue-eyes. She is in charge of Star Entertainment Group. Married with one 18 year old son. Rumors have it her son and Ana Zi may be her casting couch partner.
The next woman, like the last, also comes from a subordinate family of the Long, Gretta Yang. She is 30 years old with white-hair and gold-eyes. She runs Victoria's cosmetic lines and is a very-charming looking woman, like Lane Feng. She is married with two girls.
Diana Long. She is 28 years old and is from a branch family with short-black-hair and purple-eyes. She is the 4th most influential at the table, in charge of Advertisements and commercial media.
The other six women are not worth mentioning at this time, so I just keep an eye on the meeting.
Around the conference room are single-arm-chairs with small folding-desks for laptops and can be fold-flat and hidden under the seats. The comfortable work chairs are for the secretaries of the ten members.
Lucy and I each have two chairs behind where Victoria will sit. Lucy leans and whispers.
"All of these movers and shakers would shit their pants if they knew the young man in the back was Vicky's husband, Ufufu."
Keven Kyoto, who is normally the only man, was surprised when another non bodyguard man sitting in the meeting took a second look and then asked.
"Excuse me? Are you that young man Rick Tang that fought in last week's match?"
Yeah, hearing the name Tang in a Long business meeting is like Kimberly Long showing up at a Tang, Song, and Ning meeting, it just does not happen.
"That would be me, Mr Kyoto."
"Congratulations on your engagement then. I have met Tina Feng before and she is a charming woman. If I could fight, I too would have tried my luck."
This guy is good. Even though he could care less about me, he stays friendly knowing for me to be here, he should not fly off the handles like a retard. Well to sit in one of these ten seats you need to be a minimum of Advanced if not Master level to run this show.
Diana Long looked at me and I noticed she picked up her smartphone and texted someone, probably the main Long family.
Then finally, Victoria came in in a blue-business-lady outfit and sat in-front of us, while her brown-haired secretary wearing a pink outfit sat to the right of Lucy.
Vicky in her no-nonsense business-mode said in her deep and charming voice.
"Let us begin today's meeting."

For a half hour I listened to numbers of profits, expectations, and new ideas proposed. I was even surprised that Kate Kong's New Years Eve show was discussed and how many departments were involved for this one event. Apparently it will be broadcast live across all of Eurasia for the countdown for parties.
Pam Sun said to the table.
"I would like to use Ana Zi as the main-host for the show that night. She was popular during the Feng Tournament and she has worked with Kate Kong. So unless anyone has issues with Miss Zi, will I contact her for it?"
No one had issues, I even think she is good for that role. She might be tasteless in private, but she is good in-front of the camera. Then Vicky said.
"Finally, I have a new online business venture I am launching and I want ideas and volunteers to support it."
Then Vicky turned to Lucy to start the demonstration for the board.
The lights went down and a screen dropped from the ceiling.

"Well it is definitely good for men, but I don't know if women will use it?"
Gretta Yang cheerfully smiled and commented.
"I do like the ability to reach more women for cosmetics. Our Day-Spa will get a larger boost due to the implications of hitting the right target groups."
Pam Sun shakes her head and says.
"I don't see this helping the entertainment side of things. And it is just silly when you can just call your husband or fellow sister wife for something. This seems very niche."
Diana Long frowns and says.
"For me in the advertisement, it makes no sense to offer coupons for Tang businesses, this is counter productive. Is this Rick Tang's idea of a joke?"
Many at the table nodded to that point of Tang businesses advertising on a Long venture. I had been typing away quietly at all of their points, and then Lucy put her laptop in front of Vicky with my points. She scanned it and smiled.
"To Kyoto's point... Women use it more than men, and the test samples prove it. This platform allows group chat instead of calling each and every person individually and the logs are there for those that may have been working or sleeping. Men indeed never miss important events anymore leading to happy wives."
Victoria looks at Yang and tells her.
"Most of the users are naturally women, so the cosmetics will grow the most with our deals and exclusive offers only found on this platform."
Then she looked to Sun and told her.
"Calling everyone one by one is silly and a waste of time, the younger generation now uses instant messaging and chat rooms regularly. As for not being useful for entertainment? You can show trailers and play exclusive music in the backgrounds of each and every chatroom, So let your younger employees brainstorm. If you can't come up with things, then find someone who can."
And lastly she turned to Diana Long and told her.
"This is about money and not your Long name. Showing we bring our customers the best coupon choices in the market will actually get us all business instead of only ¾ of the market! Plus Lang and Feng will offer their businesses deals if we show our willingness to not alienate the customers. Your backwards thinking tells ¼ of the paying market, we don't want their business?! If you are not able to do the job I need you to do, I will find another Long capable of doing it."
Then her eyes squinted and told them all.
"I started teaching at Star University to find bright talent, and even before his name became Tang, Rick Lee had more business skill than half of you in this room. I have a hard time keeping up with him, and what does that tell you? So do not insult my student in my face again, or security will escort you out with your things, Questions?"
Gretta Yang raised her hand and then said.
"I might be new to the online platform, but I believe it is the perfect place for my products, so if no one else is brave enough, I will take it under my wing. Victoria Cosmetics needs to step into the new age with our old products, so I will gamble on it."
Victoria nodded and told her.
"Then Lucy Shen will work with the web-designer to make things simple for your company. You only need to promote it under your name and the rest will take care of itself. The servers are ready to go, so it will be minimal manpower on your end. Let me know what I can do to make this work. Then if no one else has constructive critiques the meeting is settled."
As soon as Victoria briskly left, I received a text...
[Victoria Long: Hurry up, I want to hold you tonight. Love you.]
As I packed my things, Lucy smiled.
"Looks like Victoria Cosmetics will get a sudden surge in the top ten power grab in the meetings, fufu. They will look back and be happy they wanted your product."
After a few more words I was on my way to the elevator. And when the door opened Benz was there with a wink. He asked.
"Going on up into the sky?"

"Benz, 40th floor please."
As the elevator door was about to close, Diana Long yelled.
"Hold the door!"
Benz closed it making it so she could not get on to see my destination, and even hid it from the lobby's ability to see the 40th floor stop. He knows who outranks who here!

My thoughts wandered off as I followed Lucy into the main-boardroom and saw it was the size of Vicky's office with a full refreshments bar to the left side of the room, opposite of where Vicky sits on the right side of the long-table. She still has not shown and will come last.
Out of the ten officers, 9 of them are women with only 1 young man. Well young for a major player, he is probably in his mid 20's?
The man's name is Keven Kyoto. 25 years old with black-hair and green-eyes. He is average build and has Basic Karate as his martial arts. He is in-charge of printed media and bookstores. This includes international products like foreign anime, light-novels, and films.
The oldest woman from a Long Subordinate Family, and most powerful of the executive officers is Pam Sun. She is 45 years old and is blonde with blue-eyes. She is in charge of Star Entertainment Group. Married with one 18 year old son. Rumors have it her son and Ana Zi may be her casting couch partner.
The next woman, like the last, also comes from a subordinate family of the Long, Gretta Yang. She is 30 years old with white-hair and gold-eyes. She runs Victoria's cosmetic lines and is a very-charming looking woman, like Lane Feng. She is married with two girls.
Diana Long. She is 28 years old and is from a branch family with short-black-hair and purple-eyes. She is the 4th most influential at the table, in charge of Advertisements and commercial media.
The other six women are not worth mentioning at this time, so I just keep an eye on the meeting.
Around the conference room are single-arm-chairs with small folding-desks for laptops and can be fold-flat and hidden under the seats. The comfortable work chairs are for the secretaries of the ten members.
Lucy and I each have two chairs behind where Victoria will sit. Lucy leans and whispers.
"All of these movers and shakers would shit their pants if they knew the young man in the back was Vicky's husband, Ufufu."
Keven Kyoto, who is normally the only man, was surprised when another non bodyguard man sitting in the meeting took a second look and then asked.
"Excuse me? Are you that young man Rick Tang that fought in last week's match?"
Yeah, hearing the name Tang in a Long business meeting is like Kimberly Long showing up at a Tang, Song, and Ning meeting, it just does not happen.
"That would be me, Mr Kyoto."
"Congratulations on your engagement then. I have met Tina Feng before and she is a charming woman. If I could fight, I too would have tried my luck."
This guy is good. Even though he could care less about me, he stays friendly knowing for me to be here, he should not fly off the handles like a retard. Well to sit in one of these ten seats you need to be a minimum of Advanced if not Master level to run this show.
Diana Long looked at me and I noticed she picked up her smartphone and texted someone, probably the main Long family.
Then finally, Victoria came in in a blue-business-lady outfit and sat in-front of us, while her brown-haired secretary wearing a pink outfit sat to the right of Lucy.
Vicky in her no-nonsense business-mode said in her deep and charming voice.
"Let us begin today's meeting."

For a half hour I listened to numbers of profits, expectations, and new ideas proposed. I was even surprised that Kate Kong's New Years Eve show was discussed and how many departments were involved for this one event. Apparently it will be broadcast live across all of Eurasia for the countdown for parties.
Pam Sun said to the table.
"I would like to use Ana Zi as the main-host for the show that night. She was popular during the Feng Tournament and she has worked with Kate Kong. So unless anyone has issues with Miss Zi, will I contact her for it?"
No one had issues, I even think she is good for that role. She might be tasteless in private, but she is good in-front of the camera. Then Vicky said.
"Finally, I have a new online business venture I am launching and I want ideas and volunteers to support it."
Then Vicky turned to Lucy to start the demonstration for the board.
The lights went down and a screen dropped from the ceiling.

And 20 minutes later Victoria turned up the lights and waited.
Keven Kyoto said.
"Well it is definitely good for men, but I don't know if women will use it?"
Gretta Yang cheerfully smiled and commented.
"I do like the ability to reach more women for cosmetics. Our Day-Spa will get a larger boost due to the implications of hitting the right target groups."
Pam Sun shakes her head and says.
"I don't see this helping the entertainment side of things. And it is just silly when you can just call your husband or fellow sister wife for something. This seems very niche."
Diana Long frowns and says.
"For me in the advertisement, it makes no sense to offer coupons for Tang businesses, this is counter productive. Is this Rick Tang's idea of a joke?"
Many at the table nodded to that point of Tang businesses advertising on a Long venture. I had been typing away quietly at all of their points, and then Lucy put her laptop in front of Vicky with my points. She scanned it and smiled.
"To Kyoto's point... Women use it more than men, and the test samples prove it. This platform allows group chat instead of calling each and every person individually and the logs are there for those that may have been working or sleeping. Men indeed never miss important events anymore leading to happy wives."
Victoria looks at Yang and tells her.
"Most of the users are naturally women, so the cosmetics will grow the most with our deals and exclusive offers only found on this platform."
Then she looked to Sun and told her.
"Calling everyone one by one is silly and a waste of time, the younger generation now uses instant messaging and chat rooms regularly. As for not being useful for entertainment? You can show trailers and play exclusive music in the backgrounds of each and every chatroom, So let your younger employees brainstorm. If you can't come up with things, then find someone who can."
And lastly she turned to Diana Long and told her.
"This is about money and not your Long name. Showing we bring our customers the best coupon choices in the market will actually get us all business instead of only ¾ of the market! Plus Lang and Feng will offer their businesses deals if we show our willingness to not alienate the customers. Your backwards thinking tells ¼ of the paying market, we don't want their business?! If you are not able to do the job I need you to do, I will find another Long capable of doing it."
Then her eyes squinted and told them all.
"I started teaching at Star University to find bright talent, and even before his name became Tang, Rick Lee had more business skill than half of you in this room. I have a hard time keeping up with him, and what does that tell you? So do not insult my student in my face again, or security will escort you out with your things, Questions?"
Gretta Yang raised her hand and then said.
"I might be new to the online platform, but I believe it is the perfect place for my products, so if no one else is brave enough, I will take it under my wing. Victoria Cosmetics needs to step into the new age with our old products, so I will gamble on it."
Victoria nodded and told her.
"Then Lucy Shen will work with the web-designer to make things simple for your company. You only need to promote it under your name and the rest will take care of itself. The servers are ready to go, so it will be minimal manpower on your end. Let me know what I can do to make this work. Then if no one else has constructive critiques the meeting is settled."
As soon as Victoria briskly left, I received a text...
[Victoria Long: Hurry up, I want to hold you tonight. Love you.]
As I packed my things, Lucy smiled.
"Looks like Victoria Cosmetics will get a sudden surge in the top ten power grab in the meetings, fufu. They will look back and be happy they wanted your product."
After a few more words I was on my way to the elevator. And when the door opened Benz was there with a wink. He asked.
"Going on up into the sky?"
I step in and tell him. If this story is on any-other site than Scribble Hub, then it was stolen without permission!
"Benz, 40th floor please."
As the elevator door was about to close, Diana Long yelled.
"Hold the door!"
Benz closed it making it so she could not get on to see my destination, and even hid it from the lobby's ability to see the 40th floor stop. He knows who outranks who here!
