All the hero's in the hangars are paying attention to the talking on the coms.

Suddenly a holographic screen shows a vast emptiness.

"James, if you start to get overwhelmed jump out of the sole system… I'll come get you guys when it's safe." Kyra says

"That's the vanguard. The mothership hasn't arrived and the scout ship is somewhere on the planet." Kyra says standing up.
"We could scout the planet." Blake suggests
"Not enough time. Tech support quick start searching for areas that may have had sightings of a ufo." Kyra says

"Fine your the geek squad then." Kyra says

Meanwhile up in space.
Wreckage is floating all around the earth.
The remnant of the dominator armada.
Forward unto the Universe's Mac gun has made short work of the larger ships. While the point defense laser and turrets are working on the smaller ones.
They don't have any sort of energy shielding.
The fighters are flying circles around what the dominators managed to muster.
Afterall earth is a under developed planet nobody expected a space fight.
"Sir! We are running low on tungsten Mac rounds." Jarvis says
"I see what she meant. The sheer number might actually overwhelming us." James mutters
"Fighters are reporting low on ammunition." Jarvis says
"Load up the Pelicans with all the equipment we can." Weiss says
"Yes, we are gonna have to retreat. Bolster the ground forces! Recall the fighters." James says

"Right, they've got maybe a dozen ships left." Kyra says
Kara is staring at the screen blankly.
"What kind of tech was that!" Kara shouts
"A mixture of human and covenant." Kyra says
"Covenant! As in the covenant! The genocidal maniacs that had krypton nearly destroyed." Kara shouts
"Sounds about right." Kyra says
Suddenly a second sun appears in the sky for a moment before it disappears again.
"They probably have a ship or two left." Kyra says

Back in space the leader of the dominators is beyond pissed.
His armada has been mostly destroyed. And that last weapon crippled his capital ship leaving it on a collision course with earth.
Then the ship that did all of that disappeared into a portal of some sort.
Besides the damaged mother ship there is a long class and a short patrol ship.

Back at the White House.
The air defenses are activated as a pelican approach's however it's shut down rather quickly.
The pelican touches down and Weiss hops out.
