Sunday came and Mark and the group prepared themselves to tackle the 7th floor of the dungeon. Albert cried to his father saying that he would be good and not cause any trouble.

“I would just stay at the back. Mark said that he was not joining the fight but filming the dungeon dive. I would join him, and I know that he could protect me.”  Albert tried to persuade his father.

Robert looked conflicted. He knew that the dungeon would only last for a year. That meant that this opportunity would no longer be available for Albert once the year was done. Robert talked to Danielle and after a few minutes, the couple agreed to let their son join the dive.

“You must listen and always stay with Mark!”  Albert’s mother repeatedly told her son.

Albert was so excited that he couldn’t keep still. Mark promised the couple that he would protect their son. Everyone equipped their dungeon items; Mark checked his video recording equipment. This time his recording devices were advanced enough to produce a much clearer recording. He would also utilize his Telekinesis to make sure that all the captured videos would be impressive.

Everyone then entered the dungeon portal to go to the 7th floor. When Albert saw the ancient forest full of otherworldly fantasy beauty, he kept saying that he isekaid in another world. Mark and his guild mates then knew that they found a kindred spirit in Albert.

Mark controlled the tablet that he brought and the recording device with Telekinesis to check if it was functioning properly. The recording camera floated like a drone but with his control, it was much more precise. When his equipment was ready, he signaled to the others to proceed.

The first group that they encountered was a trio of foul-smelling ogres. Mark then confirmed that the dungeon monsters could be random, meaning, what he encountered on a specific floor this week could be different next week. That also meant that he couldn’t create a specific walk-through on dealing with his dungeon. Even the layout of the floor was different.

Sam ran to one of the ogres and Armina and Enleed focused on the other two. This time, to make it safer, Mark sent one of the Bush Golem to act as an off tank while the other one remained to make sure that the people at the back were safe. He controlled his video recorder like a drone but with much more precision.

Albert kept on jumping and cheering while the group was fighting with the ogre. He kept yelling excitedly until his mother shushed him and told him he might attract the monsters. The kid settled down a bit but was still extremely excited. Mark lent him the Rod of Fire Bolt that he crafted thinking that since the damage was a bit low, it would not attract the ogre’s attention.

After the kid received the rod, he used the skill Fire Bolt on the ogre that Sam was battling until all the ten charges on the rod were gone. Albert kept saying how awesome it was, but Mark then said to the kid he needed to wait until the charges were full before he could use it again. The kid then said that next time, he would use fewer charges.

A few minutes passed and the three ogres were killed. Mark identified the two drops, and it was a pair of bracers and leather armor. The leather armor was an upgrade for Sam, so he equipped it and his old one, and the bracers were given to the kid. When Albert equipped the two items, they promptly shrunk to fit him which amazed him.

The group needed to rest to recharge their equipment. Elizabeth gave everyone a sandwich and some drinks that she took out from the Storage Leather Satchel that Donald bought from Mark. After several minutes, the group continued their adventure. They battled all kinds of monsters from Orcs to Kobolds to Ogres and more. They encountered some problems with some of the elite, so Mark needed to take action to help the team. This dispelled the thought that was going through Mark’s mind of allowing the team to dungeon dive on their own.

After an exhausting full day of dungeon diving which lasted until ten in the evening, the group decided to hold a meeting regarding the dive. The next dive would have to take two days consecutively so they wouldn’t suffer severe exhaustion. The group decided that the next dive would be held on Saturdays and Sundays. The first half of the dungeon would be on Saturdays and the next half would be the next day.

The good thing about this session was they surprisingly received an item with a skill. It was leather armor with a 10 percent chance of activating a Frost Wave when hit.

Sam wore the armor with the skill as per group consensus since he was their main tank.  Albert also received a full set of armor and Mark didn’t take the Rod of Fire Bolt back because the kid gave him a pitiful look when he tried.

The gang replaced their dungeon items with an upgrade, and some were purchased by Donald and Robert. The rest were given to Mark which he destroyed using his Inventory Material Destruction skill so he could get more crafting materials.

The group was still lively even though they were exhausted, and they were surprised when they saw the food that was on a huge table buffet style. Donald said that he asked somebody to prepare it before they went inside the dungeon so they would have something to eat after they were done dungeon diving.

They talked about how they still had energy even though they went through an exhausting full day of battle with monsters and even Albert was still energetic. They were again impressed by the power of the dungeon items that were given to them.

Donald told the group that there were no results yet on the studies they’ve conducted on the items they were researching so far and more than likely, this was one of the reasons why the government wasn’t moving in to interfere. Donald assured them that they were making sure that everyone who was doing the research was vetoed but realistically speaking, if the government would like to have a spy inside, they probably already had one.

Mark asked Robert and Donald why the government wasn’t aggressive with him because he thought that they would be, based on the T.V. shows that he had seen. Robert then said that it was probably an unchartered territory with them, and they wouldn’t want to take a move that would compromise the benefits they would receive compared to capturing him and him not being cooperative and compromising the cure for diseases that currently didn’t have a cure that they were receiving from Mark.
