Mark remembered to take note of the number of skill points he had left which was forty-three because it meant that he had a limited number of spells that he could increase to level five much less level ten.

The next spell that he wanted to increase was Glacial Void since aside from its damage, it was the best control spell that he currently has, able to freeze or severely slow down enemies. Right now, Glacial Void was level three so he only needed to add two points to increase it to level five which he did.

Mark’s level five Glacial Void now had three hundred damage with seventy MP casting cost and forty by forty feet area of effect with seventy feet range. The effect of the skill was still the same which was to freeze enemies or severely slow them down.

He immediately cast the spell but he couldn’t see any difference. More than likely great changes, at least visually, to his spells would normally appear when they reached level ten.

The next spell that he wanted to increase was Void Tsunami since it was a great area of effect and control spell for its ability to push enemies.

He added two points to Void Tsunami to increase it to level five and its damage increased to four hundred. Its MP casting cost also increased to eighty MP but its area of effect which was sixty by sixty feet and range of up to seventy feet remained the same.  Now he only had thirty-nine skill points left.

The next spells he wanted to increase were Void Storm and Void Hurricane. Mark thought that he would also need some single target spell so he would also increase Void Lightning and his beginner spell of Void Bolt to level five as well so he immediately did so.

Level five Void Storm had a damage of four hundred and fifty and an MP casting cost of seventy. Its area of effect of fifty by fifty feet and range of seventy feet remained the same.

Void Hurricane at level five had damage of one hundred and fifty-five per second for five seconds and a casting cost of ninety-five MP. A good thing about this spell was every skill point would also increase its duration so leveling it up to level five increased its duration by nine seconds. Not only that, but Mark could also cancel this skill anytime he wanted. Its area of effect of sixty feet by sixty feet and range of seventy feet remained the same though.

Mark then increased his single target spells of Void Bolt and Void Lightning to level five.  Weirdly, Void Bolt was one of the only spells in his repertoire that he needed to increase to level two to be able to get the next spell in the tree. It was also one of the spells that increased in range the higher its level so he added three skill points to it to increase it to level five. A level five Void Bolt had a damage of two hundred and fifty and an MP cost of twenty-five MP and its range was a whopping one hundred and thirty feet.

A level five Lightning Void had piercing damage of four hundred and an MP cost of forty MP. Its range of seventy feet remained the same. Now he only had thirty skill points left.

Mark cast all the spells that he added points to check if there were any differences visually but it seemed that his assumption was that it would take more skill levels like up to level ten before there were any great changes to the spells was correct.

The next set of spells that he wanted to increase the levels were his summons. Mark decided to increase the level of his current greatest and favorite summon, the Void Dragon. It was currently level one so he added four skill points to the spell. Now his skill points decreased to twenty-six.

Level five Void Dragon could be summoned indefinitely like a pet and it was the same as level one. The difference was the MP casting cost and reserved MP decreased. Void Dragon level five had a casting cost of eight hundred MP and reserved MP of four hundred eighty. It seemed like Mark’s mana was enough to summon the dragon since after the initial casting cost which would regenerate immediately due to his Floating Sunflower spell, he could still handle the reserved MP of four hundred and eighty MP.

Mark summoned the dragon and a glorious dragon that looked like it was made of silver and gray smoke appeared. It looked like a Chinese dragon instead of a Western Dragon but it was flying. It was eighty feet long and resembled the dragon that the anime character Sun Golu summoned or the Spirit Animal companion of the Avatar from the Fire Nation minus the wings from the cartoon Avatar The Last Airbender.  He favored the color so much since its silver and gray smoke coloring brought a mystical and mysterious feeling to the dragon.

Unfortunately, it did not have any sentience. It behaved like the golems that he had summoned which made Mark a bit sad. That meant that he could only treat the dragon as a tool, not a companion, just like the bush or tree golems.

At first, he thought that the dragon would be intelligent due to the description that once summoned, it would remain indefinitely until it was destroyed or he canceled the summon.

Mark noticed that he could command the dragon instinctively like another limb. He commanded it to fly down and then he rode it standing up and he noticed that since the dragon was huge, several people could ride the dragon.

He commanded the dragon to fly but he cast Flight first just to make sure that if he fell, he could still fly. The dragon soared in the sky and he felt so powerful. Mark commanded the dragon to do its breath attack and a huge Void Lightning came out of its mouth.

Mark fell in love with the dragon and instead of continuing to spend his skill points and diving the dungeon, he decided to go out and show it off to everyone. He checked the time first and he was surprised that it was already two in the afternoon.  He knew that summoning the dragon would cause a great ruckus in the circus but he didn’t care. He would warn everyone and then he would allow the circus to treat it as an attraction.

The dragon would add to the circus's notoriety and would be a huge deterrent to bandit or monster attacks. He was so excited that he didn’t waste any more time and went outside the dungeon.
