Hyon Hyung, a brown-haired man with an unassuming demeanor, strolls down the hallway at a deliberate pace. As a Cube Cadet navigating the academic labyrinth of dual courses, he appears ordinary at first glance. Yet, beneath the surface, there's an undeniable air of uniqueness about him, a subtle magnetism that sets him apart in the bustling corridors of everyday life. Well for one, he is said to be very smart.

Unbeknownst to the casual observer, a brown-haired girl shadows Hyon Hyung's steps, her petite frame creating the illusion of a middle schooler. This is Aileen, concealed behind a carefully crafted disguise, a fugitive with a bounty on her head. With Hyon's assistance, she has seamlessly assumed the role of his (second) step-sister, the pair navigating the hallways together.

Aileen, her disguised innocence barely concealing urgency, confronts Hyon in the hallway.

"Hey, why are you ignoring me? We have an arrangement!"

Hyon's expression tightens, a subtle frown crossing his face as he glances around cautiously. "I am sorry, Aileen-ssi... I am very busy, let's talk later..." He offers a hurried apology, swiftly striding away, leaving Aileen with more unanswered questions.

Aileen, persistently tailing Hyon, pesters him like an insistent child. "Oi! Don't go ignoring me! Hey, are you backing out? You are not calling me dwarf anymore!"

Hyon, maintaining his hurried pace, throws a glance over his shoulder. "Why? Do you prefer me calling you a dwarf?" he retorts, a hint of amusement underlying his words.

Aileen's frown deepens, a mix of indignation and heartbreak evident in her expression. "What is the problem with you? You promised..."

Hyon, maintaining a facade of urgency, responds, "I promise you! We'll talk, but not now..." He quickly glances at his smartwatch, a feigned distraction playing on his features. "Oh, it vibrated... I have to go now!" With that, he swiftly maneuvers away, leaving Aileen on her own. It has been and month, and she has been ditched like that... again.

Upon reaching the male's dormitory, Hyon Hyung slips into his room, a place where the facade is shed. Standing before the mirror, he begins a meticulous transformation. With a deliberate motion, he peels off his face, unveiling not Hyon but Tomer underneath. As the disguise unravels, Tomer, playing the role of Hyon's double, assumes the persona of the elusive Cube Cadet.

It has been a month since Hyon went into seclusion, forcing the responsible Tomer with the task of being his stand-in. Acting as the super secretary to the irresponsibly workaholic Hyon Hyung, Tomer navigates the complexities of the dual courses and the covert responsibilities that come with the enigmatic role... Truthfully, Tomer is very unlucky.

In the privacy of Hyon Hyung's dormitory, Tomer continues the metamorphosis, peeling away the illusion that shrouds her true identity as she removes the brown dye in her hair with water and a bit of granular manipulation of her magic power. Lastly... The nanoskin, a marvel of technology, shifts color seamlessly, revealing a fairer shade of brown, the genuine hue of her skin.

As she undresses, Tomer exposes her chest, bound tightly with bandages, a silent testament to the sacrifices made in maintaining the charade. The Cube Cadet uniform, once worn by her male guise, is exchanged for its female counterpart.

Tomer dons the Cube Cadet uniform designed for her female persona, slipping into the role with a fluidity born of necessity.

With each adjustment, she embodies the duality required to fulfill the intricate role she plays in the intricate web of deception surrounding Hyon Hyung.

Tomer, now in her true form, vents her frustrations within the confines of the dormitory.

"And that's why I am so motivated to put more personnel here inside Cube..." she complains, gesturing with a hint of annoyance. "I should be doing something more worthwhile with my time, not this... errand!" Tomer rudely gestures, expressing her disdain for the role she's been assigned. "Acting as a body double is just... annoying!"

Seated at a desk cluttered with the trappings of student life, Tomer focuses on a laptop, fingers dancing across the keys in a rhythm of determined keystrokes. Her eyes, usually obscured behind a facade, now reflect a seriousness that befits the clandestine task at hand.

"Come on, come on," she mutters to herself, frustration etched on her features. The screen flickers with data, a digital dance in pursuit of answers. Monologues echo in her mind, a silent dialogue with the complexities of her mission.

"This research site... the key to unraveling the mysteries we're entangled in," Tomer thinks, a resolute undertone underscoring her internal musings. "If we can expose its secrets, maybe we can rewrite the narrative, control the unfolding story. Sigh... I am not one for poetics, but Hyon is infecting me too much."

Her fingers pause momentarily as she connects with her network, checking in with her people scattered in the shadows of the seas.

"Any leads on the mysterious site?" she queries through encrypted channels, anticipation simmering beneath the surface.

Tomer's frustration deepens as the encrypted responses from her network convey a disheartening truth—no leads, no breakthroughs. The elusive research site remains shrouded in mystery.

"Nothing again," she moans, a mixture of disappointment and determination in her voice.

"We can't afford to falter now. Keep digging. We need answers," she commands silently, a silent plea to her network to persevere in the hunt for the sake... of Hyon Hyung's goals.

Hyon Hyung's dormitory, now Tomer's base, bears witness to the chaos that defines her dual existence. The room, usually a haven for academic pursuits, is now a tangled amalgamation of disarray. Uniforms, both male and female, lie strewn across furniture and the floor.

Mismatched articles of clothing create a sense of peculiarity—Cube Cadet uniforms entangled with the soft fabric of undergarments, Tomer in particular, are scattered everywhere.

Tomer's frustration spills into the room as she mutters, "I swear, I will resign on his face if my workload doesn't decrease!" The weight of being a stand-in for her workaholic boss, Hyon Hyung, becomes palpable. The burden of additional responsibilities has become a relentless force, compelling her to pick up the slack.

One problem with a workaholic boss is that their subordinates whether they like it or not will be forced to work more!

"Ugh..." she sighs, a mixture of annoyance and exhaustion in her voice. Undeterred, she continues her multitasking, toggling between sending emails and contacting her personnel.

In the midst of her relentless tasks, Tomer muses aloud, "It will be nice if I can just video call them or use VR, but the risk of it is too big considering the hunt for the Djinns... We cannot risk any Djinn Hunters finding trails." The desire for the convenience of modern technology clashes with the inherent risks of exposure in their covert operations.

"I am so envious of Hyon's VR tech... Why don't we, his subordinates, have it too!" she laments, a twinge of frustration evident in her voice. Yet, a moment of realization strikes as she recalls the harsh truth—they lack the resources for clandestine VR software at the same level of sophistication as what her bosses utilize.

Tomer slips out of the male dormitory, her face unveiled as her true self. Navigating the corridors with practiced stealth, she seamlessly moves towards the female dorm, her guise as Hyon Hyung temporarily shelved. In the shadows, the fairer shade of brown that is her original skin tone becomes visible under the subtle glow of dim lights.

Entering the female dormitory, she sees the same mismatched articles of clothing scattered across the room, the same as Hyon Hyung's place. "Laundry day is going to be hell."

After showing Tomer's face routinely to her fellow Cadets, she is finally able to finish and have a little rest again as night claims the sky. When she wakes up, and dawn is yet to arrive, she finds herself, racing again with time...

Sneaking back into the male dormitory, Tomer reverts to her role as Hyon Hyung's double, once again concealing her true identity beneath the familiar guise. "Ugh... why does Hyon always pick the earliest of schedules in his classes!?"

Thus, Tomer as Hyon Hyung attends class. When the class finishes, Tomer feels her soul being rejuvenated.

Exiting the classroom, Hyon Hyung finds himself face to face with Eliza, his other fabricated step-sister. Their brown hair dances in synchrony with the subtle breeze, and the shared angles in their faces betray a carefully crafted resemblance. However, Eliza possesses a distinct allure, a sharp beauty that sets her apart from the unassuming demeanor of Hyon.

"Hey, step-bro!" Eliza greets with a sly smile, the familiarity of their fabricated relationship playing out seamlessly.

Hyon responds with a nod, acknowledging the charade as they navigate the crowded hallways. Tomer under the disguise of Hyon Hyung has a sudden eureka moment.

"Brother?" Eliza's voice carries a note of concern as she gazes at Hyon Hyung.

"Ohohoho~!" Tomer responds with a strangely light laugh. "Well, I am just thinking, sis..."

Tomer, eyeing the other warily, senses an opportunity for a subtle revenge against her boss Hyon Hyung. Seizing the moment, she grabs Eliza's arm, prompting an intrigued "Eh?" from Hyon Hyung's supposed-to-be step-sister.

"Hey there, sis," Tomer says with a sly grin, fully aware of the Eliza in front of her. "Let's go on a date... Consider it an apology date of sorts..."

Eliza, caught off guard, responds with a puzzled "Eh?" again... Her curiosity was piqued by the unexpected proposition.

The Eliza in front of Tomer is not really Rachel, because Tomer last time heard Rachel be visiting the hospital with Nayun... The Eliza in front of Tomer can only be an MI6 Agent made to act as double for Rachel's Eliza identity.

Tomer as Hyon Hyung glances around... Indirectly attacking her boss by perpetrating rumors is not beneath her.

"Yes, let's go on a date," Tomer replies with a playful glint in her eyes.

Eliza, completely oblivious to the underlying motives, protests, "But we are siblings..."

Tomer, undeterred, offers a half-smile. "Stepsiblings... How about this? Let's go see the movies on your birthday." As Tomer extends the invitation, her smartwatch buzzes with a subtle reminder.

"Huh?" Eliza responds, caught unaware by Tomer's prank. When this 'Eliza' reports to Rachel, Hyon Hyung will be in a lot of pain.

Isn't that too evil considering Hyon's depression? Tomer's reply to this is fairly simple, "I am a Djinn, contracted to a Devil! Of course, I can do evil things... mwahahaha!"

Tomer's attention shifts as she checks her smartwatch, a message from Kim Hosup flashing on the screen. The words convey a significant development: Hyon Hyung has left the Little Blue Tower, ending his seclusion.

"Seems like my slave driver has reemerged," Tomer murmurs to herself, a mixture of relief and uncertainty in her voice.
