As she entered the office lobby area, Shao Yan quickly approached Tina, the receptionist on duty for today.
"Tina, are they still in the meeting room?"
Tina, a girl in her twenties, had just joined the company a few months ago to do her internship while she was waiting for her university to begin. Shao Yan had talked to her a couple of times before and found that her bubbly personality to be similar to Qi Ling.
Tina was texting on her phone; and as her fingers flew all over the phone screen, she heard Shao Yan's hurried steps were approaching her desk and started to ask questions.
She lifted up her face, and saw the exasperated Shao Yan was looking intently at her.
"M-Miss Shao, your face is so flushed, are you alright?" Tina said as she quickly rose up from her chair and walked to the water dispenser on the side. She wanted to grab a glass of water for Shao Yan.
Shao Yan had her eyes following Tina wherever she went, "I'm fine, I was just running from the garage. I'm so anxious right now. I heard that the other party is looking for trouble by bringing in a lot of people?"
Tina, although she realized that there was no need to panic, she still pour water to a paper cup for Shao Yan, "Yes, around ten people in total came with her. I was so surprised as well," and then she handed the paper cup to Shao Yan, "here, Miss Shao, have a drink first, calm yourself down. They are still in the room," and after she said that, Tina went back to her seat.
Shao Yan took gulps of water, and then she threw the paper cup away, "Thanks Tina, I'll go back to my desk now," and then Shao Yan left to start walking to her floor.

Shao Yan had been standing in front of the meeting room for a while now, debating if she should come inside. She was pacing back and forth in front of the frosted glass door, her feet shuffled from left to right; debating if she should enter. She did not have any legitimate reason because she was just an outsider in this case, but she could not help but worry about her family.
As she was about to knock on the glass door, her phone vibrated loudly. Shao Yan saw that Li Xiqing was calling her.
"En, Xiqing, what is it? I was about to enter the meeting room where Risa at," she said hurriedly as she hit the answer button.
Li Xiqing had not even spoken a single word when Shao Yan had spoken out her replies.
"I just received a text from Karl and it is pretty intense right now. I don't think it is wise to join them," he paused to let Shao Yan processed that, and then he continued, "why don't you go back to your desk for now, and let's have a dinner with Risa and Karl later? I'll pick you guys up, alright?"
Shao Yan was holding the phone with one hand, and she was biting the fingers from another hand; a sign that she was nervous.
After a moment of silence, she finally said, "Alright, let's do as you said," and then she hung up.
Shao Yan took a last glance at the meeting room, before she turned around and started to walk back to her desk.

The people from Helen side started to speak in turn one after another, without letting anyone else to join in the fun.
VP Zhuang was holding his forehead with one arm propped on the table, and inconspicuously massaged his head gently. The lawyer, Mr. Xin had just completed a sketch of a scenery, and was about to start a new sketch. He slowly straightened up his body, and did a little stretch. He brought up both hands over his head and flexed.
Risa and Karl were busy writing or typing down stuff. Risa was taking notes about what Helen wanted to offer, while Karl was paying more attention on each individual and what words they said.
All of a sudden, a piercing sound was echoing all over the room.
Mr. Xin pushed the chair backwards, and the legs were dragged on the floor, creating an annoying, high pitched sound over the tiles.
He put up a very innocent face as he said very slowly, "Oh! My apologies everyone. I think we are all getting out of hand now. Let's recap."
After he said that, he picked up his notebook, and started to say, "From the past three hour meeting, this is what I had written down."
He cleared his throat and started to say, "Miss Yamaguchi explained the background of Miss Kanagawa and OnScience. Miss Kanagawa introduced entourages. Yadda yadda yadda.. Miss Kanagawa offered herself to be employed by Gold Crane and finally, entourages started to present positive sides in hiring Miss Kanagawa. Yadda yadda.. The end."
Mr. Xin then took off his reading glasses, hold them in his hands, and scanned the room, "Now, I only have one question," he paused dramatically, while staring at the people in the room one by one, "initially we all gathered here to discuss the incident from last week; cause, effect and solution. But why are we not discussing that? Miss Kanagawa had initiated violence and destruction of property. That is exactly what we need to talk about."
VP Zhuang could not hide his smile, so he pursed his lips, and brought his face down; suddenly his tie was really interesting.
Risa was first speechless, before she reflexively burst a chuckle. Upon hearing that, Helen squinted her eyes, and glared at Risa immediately.
Risa quickly adjusted her expression, and gave Helen a little shrug. She turned her head around, and looked at Karl, while mouthing, 'Wow! He has guts' to him.
On the other hand, Karl now began to also pay attention to this charismatic lawyer who had chosen to stay silent the whole time, and only spoke up now.
