…And so, we leisurely enjoyed our otherworldly vacation.

Honestly, I believe we had the most fun out of everyone.

Probably because, apart from us and those with George-san, not many had the environment to enjoy themselves… Though, the drama club did some sightseeing.

We toured various towns and temples, snacked, browsed shops, explored uncharted territories, and encountered some challenges along the way.

The most fun was when cat ears sprouted on us. I could hear so well! Ha ha.

We also soaked in a natural hot spring. It seemed to be filled with hydrogen sulfide, but there were no monsters, and we could relax comfortably because we have “Poison Resistance.” It’s great being able to bathe in dangerous hot springs.

We discovered new foods, too. We made fruit tarts with newly found fruits and held meat parties with new types of meat. We shared these treats with other groups, too. The fruit tarts were made because the drama club girls wanted something sweet.

We shared sweets and meat with others. It was truly enjoyable. I feel like I’ve experienced a lifetime’s worth of another world!

…Then, finally, we got in touch with Tsukimori-san.

“Hello!”

[Oh, Maito, what’s up?]

Any Origin? No Origin?

“Ah, yeah, we’re about ready to go back home… Um, did something happen on your end? We couldn’t reach you.”

[I was sleeping.]

…Really?

[Due to skill backlash… yawn…]

It turns out Tsukimori-san had a tough battle with an estimated unique monster. She replicated the monster, made them fight each other, and then, due to the size of the replication, ran out of MP and had been sleeping since.

“Are you okay?”

[Just sleepy.]

The sleepyhead is still the same.

…We then teleported using the vision of Tsukimori-san’s maid puppets to discuss and report various matters. Saegusa-kun’s group did a great job, likely collecting all students and classrooms on the 3F. It seems all classrooms are accounted for, and the students seem okay. Thus, the Information Room and Newspaper Club group moved to the same location as the gymnasium group. It’s easier to have everyone in one place.

…And we collected another Origin. It seems where there’s a unique monster, there’s an Origin.

Then, in the afternoon, we received a call from Kinoshita-kun.

[Ah, hello, Ma…]

However, Kinoshita-kun’s voice cut off abruptly, followed by some commotion.

[Hey there! Maito?]

It was Carissa-chan.

“Ah, yeah.”

[It’s ready, it’s ready! Come quickly! And bring the bodies, my sister’s side is ready too!]

Finally!

[…Uh, hello, Maito-san?]

After Carissa-chan excitedly said her piece, the phone was handed back to a weary-sounding Kinoshita-kun.

[Seems like that’s the situation. Can you come over?]

…I could feel the exhaustion in his voice from caring for those sisters for days on end.

“Ah, yeah. I’ll be right there.”

[…And then, bring Carissa…]

The “Communication” cut off there…

Upon teleporting, Carissa-chan was hyperactively flying around.

“Hey, Maito! It’s done! It’s done! Hahaha!”

She grabbed my hand and started spinning around. Whoa, I’m getting dizzy!

“Where are the bodies? We can’t start without them.”

Shureira-san was there too, smiling with a cup of tea in hand, but the atmosphere felt off. She seemed, well, a bit too high on excitement.

That’s typical of a researcher after a breakthrough.

“The bodies are being made now.”

I brought the necessary spiritual medicines and gems, as it’s better to create them on the spot.

…Finally, we can revive them.

It’s been a long journey.

We laid out the gems on a soft carpet, and President poured spiritual medicine over them. The gems transformed into human forms, becoming emaciated corpses.

The cause of death was starvation. It must have been hard.

“Okay, I’ll use the ‘Abyssal Stone’ now, so stand back.”

Shureira-san placed a metal-coated crystal-like stone on each corpse’s chest and applied shock to it. The “Abyssal Stone” turned gray, indicating success.

“Ready? Here we go.”

Carissa-chan came with a round-bottomed flask with strange patterns, filled with a clear substance that seemed to shift between liquid, solid, and gas.

She began drawing patterns on the choir members’ corpses and spilled the flask’s contents on them, which got absorbed and disappeared.

…We watched in suspense until suddenly.

“It’s done!”

“…Is it over?”

“Yes, over.”

…Did it work?

The choir members still looked dead, but…

“They’re breathing.”

“See!”

…Quietly, they came back to life. No fanfare, just silence.

Maybe that’s just how it is.

…We forgot about the wind band members! Completely slipped our mind since we had no interaction with them!

We left the choir members in Kinoshita-kun’s care. He joked, “At this point, caring for two more or ten more makes no difference.” Has he considered a career change to a maid?

…Turns out he’s already changed his title from “Dandy” to “Manager.”

…Good job.

…And so, we arrived in the 2F west area.

…Sending out stealth maid puppets, we observed the situation.

…It seemed peaceful, with people harvesting fruits and doing household chores. They seemed a bit thin, but nothing compared to the choir members.

…Now the challenge is to communicate with the wind band members, who previously attacked us without listening.

“We can’t be optimistic that they’ll listen this time.”

“Maybe we need to put on another act.”

“How about a goddess role, Maito-san? You’ve done a demon lord before.”

…I refuse!
