Chapter 59

Spending time with my family was the happiest part of my day. Each moment shared with them was a precious memory. Unfortunately, I couldn’t be with them everyday, I have duties to accomplish.

That's why, though regretful, I left them back in the chaos of Las Noches.

At that moment, I was rushing into the unknown regions of Hueco Mundo, using my full speed.

The scenery around me blurred, changing constantly as my speed increased. A spiritual shield protected me from the dry sand of Hueco Mundo.

In a few minutes, I reached Nel’s new hideout, a little cliff overlooking the dunes of the white desert. It was an oddly shaped round dome-like building crowned with a pair of goat horns.

I couldn’t understand how this was supposed to be a hideout when everyone could see it from afar. The shape didn’t help to disguise who it belonged to either.

I scratched my head in bewilderment. “It's practically a neon sign saying 'Nel lives here!' How are the horns going to hide Nel’s identity when they are clearly looking like hers?”

I couldn’t wrap my head around this nonsense.

“Oh, but you're mistaken, my friend. Nel's horns are much rounder.” A playful voice chimed in from beside me. “These are a whole different brand.”

I turned to face Pesche, unable to suppress a sigh. Even his thumbs-up gestures did little to amuse me.

At that moment, I desired to be like my little and sadistic Noelle and give him a well-deserved kick to the shin.

“Oi! You truly kicked me!” Pesche bellowed, his protest clearly a lie.

He cradled his leg while tears threatened to gush out of his eyes.

“And stop narrating my sufferement out loud.” Pesche continued to lie.

I raised an eyebrow, a wry smile forming on my lips.

“I did, didn’t I?” I told him while rubbing my chin. “I thought you needed to understand everything like a little kid so I spoke aloud, sorry.”

“Oi” Who are you calling a kid?” Pesche protested.

However, I ignored him, turning my attention to seven new figures who appeared in front of me.

Leading the group was the stunning Nel, donning a pseudo white dress and armor that accentuated her beautiful green hair and a pair of boots I had gifted her last week. To make things better, she wore a pair of boots I had gifted her just last week.

By her side was Dondochakka, the fool and loyal.

Farther behind her, were the five arrancars, result of my experiments with the Gillians I had captured. Most of them possessed a human-like appearance, though their towering height exceeded any human standard.

“Husband, you are finally back.” Nel exclaimed, launching herself into my arms.

She started rubbing her head on my chest like a little kid, only turning to the side to look curiously at Pesche before ignoring him. Then she looked up at me with her pair of shining eyes.

“You totally ignored me.” Shouted a voice in the background.

“You left this boring bunch with me and didn’t come to visit me in weeks.” Nel pouted, her nonchalant look ruining her childlike expression.

I chuckled, a playful glint in my eye.

“We're not married, remember? Besides, I’m sure you enjoyed playing with my new subordinates.” I retorted, teasingly.

A mischievous smile danced on Nel's lips as she retorted, her tone filled with conviction.

“I've already decided that you are my husband.” Nel declared, her serious expression returning.

I let out a sigh, feeling like she was stealing five years of my lifespan with her stubborn nature.

There was no use denying the truth, I had been concealing my possessiveness, fooling myself into maintaining a distance between us.

“Fine, believe what you want.” I resigned myself. “Even my daughter Esmeralda asked me if she could kill her 'third mom' last time after visiting you.”

And that was quite a surprise, not Esmeralda words, it was knowing that everyone already assumed that me and Nel were a thing. It seemed I was just delaying the inevitable by denying it.

“Yes, I knew she loved me.” Nel exclaimed, clapping her hands before tightly hugging right arm against her ample bosom.

The sensation was heavenly. I certainly loved this new feeling.

I gave her a big smile before starting to walk up to my subordinates. Passing by Pesche and Dondochakka along the way.

Pesche was still rubbing his shin, while Dondochakka anxiously circled around him, flailing his arms in worry.

“Don’t move Pesche, or we might have to amputate your leg!” Dondochakka told Pesche his dumb theory.

The air seemed to grow still as Pesche, utterly gobsmacked, held his leg up in the air as if frozen in disbelief.

Then, he broke into a sweat. “Wait, it is just a small bump, it will go down in a few hours.”

He put his palms in front of his body, trying to stop his dumb friend from approaching him.

“Don’t worry. It will hurt just for a moment.” Dondochakka declared, promptly raising his hand before delivering a resounding smack to Pesche’s head.

Pesche crumpled to the ground, knocked out cold. His eyes rolled back, his limbs slackened, and he lay motionless on the floor.

“Pesche!”

Nel released my arm from its heavenly prison, rushing to Pesche’s side.

I continued walking, arriving in front of my five subordinates.

Their presence was palpable, even when they were kneeling before me as they awaited my commands.

Each of them radiated a unique aura, a blend of power and loyalty that resonated in the air.

With a quick glance, I took in their distinct attributes. Sombra Gigante, with his intense gaze and poised stance. Desgarrador, with his fiery mane and scar, result of his hard life.

Titánica stood tall, radiating regality, her shimmering robes a symbol of her strength. Espada Sombría, his elegant features and the air of mystery make him pleasing to look at. And there was Coloso Oscuro, an incomplete arrancar that exuded strength through his solid presence.

"Now, we need to make some things clear. Understood?" I called out to them, my voice carrying the weight of determination.

"Of course, my lord," they replied in unison, their voices filled with unwavering loyalty and readiness to fulfill their purpose.

As they awaited my command, I couldn't help but reflect on the upcoming war preparations. The path ahead would be chaotic, but with this new generation of arrancars by my side, I knew I had a better chance to come up victorious.

Omake: Fists

Sado Yatsutora looked down at his fits with regret.

He had tried his best to defeat the man with the hollow hole in his chest, yet he had only managed to land a light hit.

Suddenly, a strong hit bonked his head.

Sado barely flinched from the pain in his head, instead he looked at his trainer, Yoruichi, who had just hit him.

“Stop, sulking.” She screamed at his face. “You should be breaking this rock.”

Sado looked up at the rock, not believing he could break a rock as big as an apartment building.

“Okay.”

Sado didn’t feel threatened by the task at hand. He would do anything to become Ichigo’s shield once again.

In the background, Urahara Kisuke sulked and looked down on the orange training clothes he had prepared for them.

“I can’t believe they rejected it.”
