It had been almost a year since I had been reincarnated into this world.

I was on a big rock that I had instructed my subordinates to shape into the likeness of a half-buried Death Star from Star Wars. I sat upon a small throne made of rocks.

My eyes wandered to my surroundings, taking in the barren wasteland that was my home. The only sounds were the whistling of the wind and the occasional growl of a hungry Hollow.

My mind raced, searching for answers to the problem that plagued me.

Consuming Hollows wasn't the issue, as whatever had reincarnated me had given me something that allowed me to evolve faster. I had advanced without problems until now, without feeling like I had reached my limits. However, I was still lacking something, a missing piece of the puzzle that would take me to the next level.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sound of my loyal companion.

"piggy wants to play" as always, the dog-pig was running around my rock. He wagged his tail happily, while my other subordinates watched on. "piggy is bored"

I raised an eyebrow. "Why don't you go out hunting?" I said, drumming my fingers against my armrest. "Running around is just wasting energy."

He stopped and looked at me with a skeptical expression. It was as if he thought I was questioning his intelligence. "Piggy is not getting stronger, Piggy has limits," he said regretfully.

"But you will devolve into a gillian if you don't" Adjuchas need to eat constantly or they would lose their own selves and turn into mindless beasts. Eating other hollows was necessary.

"One day won't hurt." He continued.

I was about to retort to him when a snake-like voice cut through the air.

"Indeed, one day won't hurt," the voice said, and I spun around to face the speaker.

My body tensed as I caught sight of the silver-haired man. His eyes were closed, and a maddening smile was plastered on his face.

It was Gin Ichimaru. My mind raced with questions. How had he found me? What did he want? Was he here to kill me?

"Ah, what a lovely little gathering you have here," he said, his tone dripping with sarcasm. "It's so cute seeing you playing with your pets."

The pressure he emanated was palpable, like a snake coiling around me, making it difficult for me to breathe. I struggled to remain calm and composed in his presence, not wanting to show any weakness.

"What does a Shinigami want with me?" I asked, trying to appear calm, my body barely making a move.

"I have an offer for you, something that would please you." He replied with a smile that didn't reach his eyes. It was clear he wasn't going to play nice.

"And what might that be?" I asked, my eyes narrowed in suspicion.

"We are gathering an army under Lord Aizen," he said, spreading his arms wide as if to show how grand it was. "We are offering anyone willing to join a chance to gain power and forget about hunger."

"Sorry, but we are not interested in working under anyone," I replied, my tone cold and flat. I couldn't possibly become an Arrancar before becoming a Vasto Lorde. It would greatly limit my potential.

"Yeah, go away. Piggy is not joining you guys," my inopportune subordinate added, hoping to end the conversation.

Gin Ichimaru's presence was suffocating, and the pressure he emitted only grew stronger. We struggled to move our body, feeling as if a giant snake was coiling around us.

In a split second, Gin unsheathed his sword with a flick of his wrist, invoking his Shikai. The blade elongated at an incredible speed, faster than any other sword I had ever seen. Before we could even react, the head of my three subordinates flew off in a crimson arc. Blood spurted from the severed necks and stained the sand beneath us a deep red. The sickening metallic scent filled my nostrils.

"That's a pity," he drawled, half-opening his eyes, which shone like a blue flame. "Lord Aizen was really hoping to add you to his collection of loyal lapdogs."

I stood frozen, watching as Gin brought down his sword onto Piggy, my stupidly loyal subordinate. The blade sliced through the air, a flash of silver that left a trail of blood in its wake. Piggy's eyes widened in shock as he tried to dodge, but it was too late. The sword cut diagonally through his body, splitting his smile in two.

Piggy fell to the ground, a gurgling sound escaping his lips as blood pooled around him. A lump formed in my throat as I felt a sharp pain in my chest.

A searing heat burned through my veins, radiating outward from my core. My body crackled with raw power as anger consumed me. My muscles tensed, coiling like a spring ready to snap.

Before, I had always envisioned my evolution as a never-ending staircase, each step taking me higher and higher towards my ultimate goal. But at that moment, it was as if I had stumbled upon a hidden door beside the stairs that I had never noticed before. So, I ignored the stairs and hit the wall beside it, opening the door to my hidden evolution.

"You killed my fucking pet," I seethed, my voice laced with venom. Gin looked at me, seemingly stunned by my outburst. My spiritual power surged, flattening his own.

We have finally reached the end of the first mini arc.
