Thinking quickly, Sai leaped into the air, employing his Cloud Steps technique to maneuver through the sky and escape the encircling foes. His escape attempt seemed to be working, bringing him close to breaking free.
Chomp!
However, his hopes were abruptly dashed when he felt a bite on his leg. Looking down, he saw a Brutal Dog clamping its jaws onto his left leg.
“Let me go!” Sai yelled and kicked the stubborn Brutal Dog with his free leg.
To his surprise, the Brutal Dog hurled him through the air like a frisbee, causing him to crash and bounce off the snowy ground. Meanwhile, other Brutal Dogs on both right and left sides of him prepared their magic attacks, the left one unleashing freezing shards of ice, and the right one sending fiery fire balls.
Sai endured the magical onslaught, knowing that neither of these magical assaults could harm him.
Sai didn’t hesitate and sent streams of poison at the left Brutal Dog. The Brutal Dog created a wall of ice to block the attack.
“Of course,” Sai said, annoyed.
Regaining his footing quickly, Sai skillfully dodged an incoming bite from the Brutal Dog on his right.
A stream of lightning hit him but it had no effect. Sai looked over to see the Brutal Dog that tried to bite his legs was having lighting humming in the air around him
With a confident grin, Sai taunted his adversaries, "You guys can't hurt me, can you? I'm practically indestructible."
Growl! Growl! Growl!
The three Brutal Dogs responded with menacing growls.
The situation grew even worse as Horned Dogs approached to join the fray.
Sai didn't back down, instead, he summoned more poison, enveloping his hands in a green glove form. He solidified the poison, to make the material harder. "Who wants the taste of death?!”
The Horned Dogs converged on Sai in a frenzied rush.
The first Horned Dog to approach Sai received a powerful right hook.
The second one was met with a devastating left hook.
Two Horned Dogs reached Sai simultaneously and were met with a swift jab each.
Sai swiftly beat every Horned Dog that entered the range of his fists.
Following that, both the Horned Dog and even the Brutal Dog unleashed a barrage of elemental attacks against Sai. They hurled Wind Balls, Earth Balls, Fire Balls, Water Balls, Lightning Currents, Fire Embers, and Ice Shards at him. All of these attacks found their mark, hitting Sai.
The magical collision resulted in a massive explosion of energy that obliterated the ground beneath him, filling the air with a mix of snow and dirt.
Sai stood at the epicenter of this attack, wearing a broad grin. "Is that the best you can do?"
Sai then began summoning streams of poison that targeted the Horned Dogs. The Brutal Dogs managed to evade or employ their magic to shield themselves, but the Horned Dogs were all exposed to the poison and met their demise.
Only three Brutal Dogs remained.
On the left, a Brutal Dog skilled in ice magic.
On the right, a Brutal Dog skilled in fire magic.
In the center, a Brutal Dog skilled in lightning magic.
Sai was heavily panting, recognizing that the easier part of the battle was now behind him.
The lightning Brutal Dog sprang into action, rushing toward Sai with its jaws wide open.
Sai also moved swiftly, his fist poised for action. When he was within range, he delivered an uppercut to the face of the lightning Brutal Dog.
Although the uppercut connected, the Brutal Dog retaliated by swiping its claw at Sai, sending him flying and causing him to crash hard into the ground.
Sai struggled to get back on his feet, and his instincts kicked in, urging him to dodge. He rolled to the side just in time as the lightning Brutal Dog pounced at his previous location.
Sai panted heavily as he clumsily tried to rise, as he tried to make his way to a nearby tree to seek cover.
Meanwhile, the ice Brutal Dog and the fire Brutal Dog wasted no time and continued to unleash their magic attacks at Sai.
Sai had no choice but to endure the attacks that pushed him back to the ground.
"These bastard dogs just won't let up! I can't catch a break!" Sai shouted in frustration.
Despite the relentless assault, Sai formulated a plan. He endured the ongoing magical onslaught and murmured, "Blessing." With that command, the Blessing Window appeared, and he allocated all his newly acquired points into the Strength Attribute.

Sai responded swiftly, landing a left hook when the fire Brutal Dog was at range. The attack disoriented the fire Brutal Dog, and Sai sealed its fate with a powerful right hook, defeating the fiery enemy.
However, before Sai would relish in his victory, the ice Brutal Dog seized the opportunity, sneaking up from behind and forcefully slamming him to the ground while biting his head.
"Don't drool all over me you bastard!" Sai summoned his poison abilities to drench the Brutal Dog that pinned him down.
The ice Brutal Dog stubbornly clung to biting Sai's head, prompting Sai to continue bombarding the creature with his poisonous attacks.
A tense five seconds passed before the ice Brutal Dog eventually succumbed, collapsing on top of Sai.
A ring sound alerted him. 'Level up!'
Sai summoned his strength to dislodge the ice Brutal Dog from his body.
Exhausted and panting heavily, he slowly managed to rise to his feet.
"Surprisingly, those two are still kicking," Sai remarked, noting that both the Lightning and Fire Brutal Dogs were still alive.
The poison that he hit the Lightning Brutal Dog must have taken the beast down.
Sai unleashed a stream of poison to douse the last two Brutal Dogs and effectively ending the lives of the last two Brutal Dogs.
A ring sound alerted him. 'Level up!'
'Level up!'
"Heh," Sai chuckled, making his way toward the tree and settling down beside it. "I've finally reached level 20."
Breathing heavily, he gazed up at the sky and muttered, "Blessing." Sai then when the Blessing Window appeared allocated all the newly acquired points into his Strength attribute.
