I overheard someone calling.

Looking back, there was a young woman who looked like a high school student.

“Me?”

“Yeah. Do you live here?”

He replied yes because he inherited it from his father and started living there yesterday.

“Thank God. I was going back because there was nobody inside, but I just met with you.”

“Do you have any business?”

“Oh, that’s… Actually, I’ve been to this place many times.”

“Is that right?”

I wondered if he was a person related to my father, so I continued the conversation.

“Yeah. But every time I came, the door was locked, so I thought it was someplace that wasn’t open. There are weeds growing.”

“Oh, it was empty for a while.”

“It’s like that.”

“By the way, who… are you?”

“Me? Oh, I didn’t introduce myself. I’m Minjoo Kim, a freshman majoring in art at Honghwa University.”

“You seem like a high school girl, but you were in college.”

The woman answered with a grin.

As she smiled, her eyes, her big, round eyes turned into threads.

The woman who introduced herself as Minjoo Kim was about 165 years of age, had a slender body and had a clear feature.

The skin was pale, and the straight hair down to the shoulders was dyed in brown color, and it was an attractive appearance that would make you look back at least once if you encountered them on the street

“Oh, your brother is… Oh, right?”

“I’m 25 years old, so I’m 4 years older than Minjoo”

“In other words, it’s an older brother. But you look so young. I thought you were only a year or two apart from me

‘That’s a compliment, right?’

She thought Hae-joon was like a high schooler when he was a year or two older from her.

She saw him as a 20-year-old.

I felt pretty good.

“What’s your name?”

“Cha Joon.”

“Can I call you oppa?”

“You can call me any way you like. So, why did you look for me?”

“I’ll be perfectly frank. Please lend me the wall of this house.”

“Walls? Why?”

“I’m going to paint. You know murals, right?”

‘I thought about it first. ‘Why here?’

Since it is a neighborhood with many older detached houses, there were many walls to draw even if it was not here. However, I wondered why she came into a home without the landlord several times.

“Why?”

“Because this wall is the perfect size for painting. Do you know the Busan Mural Village? They are also in Seongsu-dong or lhwa-dong, Seoul. There are many projects that paint murals in older residential areas these days. I’m doing that too. This looks like a restaurant, but if you draw a mural, a lot of people will come. It will become a hot place!”

“Oh, the business here…”

“I have 3,000 followers. If you give me permission, I will draw it beautifully and promote it on social media. Please….”

When he tried to refuse with an awkward expression, Min-ju gathered her palms like prayer, lowering her eyebrows and begging.

“I understand what’s going on, but this place is no longer open.

“Really? Ah…”

Minjoo looked incredibly disappointed as he voiced his subtle rejection.

“Can I still draw a picture?”

“It’s difficult…”

“Please. Yeah? Yeah? I’ll only ask you this. I’ll do nothing and just paint quietly outside. Yeah? Please allow me.”

A sincere request that is difficult to refuse.

‘All right. It’s not like I’m going to do something when I get in, and there’s nothing wrong with just painting on the outside wall.’

After thinking about it, Hae-joon accepted Min-ho’s request.

“Okay.”

“Ah-Really?”

“Yeah. Instead, I hope you don’t bother me.”

“Absolutely. I’ll arrive quietly and just draw. Hehe. But is it really not open here?”

“Yeah.”

“Why? I thought a restaurant in the corner of a residential area would be a great restaurant. So, I was looking forward to it.”

“There is no chef.”

“Wow, that’s a pity. Then what about you, oppa?”

“Me? I’m not a chef, but somehow I became the owner of this place…”

It suddenly occurred to me.

What kind of restaurant is this?

Was my father cooking’ himself?
Or was it another chief?

Were there many, if not few, customers?

At home, I didn’t spend a lot of time in the kitchen, but sometimes my dad would cook it.

I can’t remember what kind of food it was right now, but at least I remember eating it delightfully.

“Like that. I am completely jealous. What happened to a homeowner with a yard in such a beautiful neighborhood? Did you win the lottery?”

“It’s similar.”

“Really? How? Please tell me.”

Minjoo couldn’t stop talking. Perhaps it’s a sociable person.

“If you’re done talking, can I go in now? I have to get somewhere quickly.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. I was too talkative. Hehe. I told you so.”

Minjoo, who was chatting, was ashamed, slightly sticking her tongue out.

It didn’t bother me.

Rather, it gave a strange pleasure to Hae-Joon, who had been quietly moving back and forth between the examination center and the reading room for three years and performed silent words.

“Well, here you go.”

“?…”

Minjoo took her phone out from her pocket and handed it to Hae-joon.

Hae-joon, who looked at her hand, looked at Min-ju with a face saying’ Why?’

“Phone number. Please give me your number. I’ll call you before coming to paint the mural.”

“Ah!”

‘It was like that.’

To give a woman your number. I have been living for 25 years, and this was my first time, so I was a little embarrassed. Hae-joon received the phone awkwardly, put the phone number, and returned it.

“This is my number, so please do not lose it. Hehe.”

When Minjoo pressed the call button, a call came to an unsaved number.

“Okay.”

“Because I’m younger, talk to me, oppa. Can I call you oppa?

“Ah yes.”

“Then I’ll go first.”

“See you later, bye.”

Minjoo shared contact details with each other as if they were old friends. She grinned and said her goodbyes before leaving.

Hae-joon waved his hand unconsciously as well, but it was very awkward.

It seemed as if I had gotten myself into a mess.
