“《Lightning》”
The wyvern, hit by Toa’s lightning fell from the sky it’s body twitching.
“I’d expect nothing less Toa.”
Sierra looked relieved and took Toa’s out stretched hand.
“Dealing with this many is going to be difficult.”
“Nem will make them eat a cat knuckle sandwich!”
Nem brandished her claws excitedly.
“Nem weren’t you upset about Masamune not returning just a few hours ago?”
“Nem was sad that master hasn’t returned yet but now it’s different, Nem is mad! Nem can’t forgive anything that hurts Sierra.”
These words caused Sierra to smile.
“Nem, don’t let your guard down, there are a lot of A rank monster’s including Nootkeranes.”
“Why is that….”
“It seems like someone brought them here but there’s no sign of who did it. And the monsters are strange, they don’t seem to feel pain.”
Toa drew the snake sword killgills.
“Sierra, for now, lets get rid of that and look for signs of who brought them here.”
“After you.”
The three of them looked at each other then ran back into the fray, their expressions hard.

“Is that all of the wights?”
A wight is a skeleton monster that floats around in a cross-legged state. It wears a robe and casts different kinds of magic, it’s an A rank monster.
Reinhardt looked around breathlessly ad he killed it.
“Yeah, there’s none left.”
The person who answered was an adventurer, the people around Reinhardt now were those adventurer that had ignored his previous warning and had been saved while fighting a Nootkerane.
“Does that mean there was only one wight? That seems like an oversight.”
“I agree.”
Across the battlefield there were several of each monsters, this wight however was the only one of its kind.
“Reinhardt!”
Taking a moment away from fighting the nootkerane Raid joined him.
“Have you found the enemies position?”
“No there is probably some kind of magic obscuring their position.”
The white knights and adventurers alike were using their natural senses as well as sensing magic to try and locate the enemy.
“There are plenty of monsters in the forest but none of them seem to be connected to who’s behind this.”
Reinhardt appeared worried, none of the knights had been able to locate anything.
“《Wind Dance》”
While the white knights were busy worrying Toa ran around wiping out B rank monsters to the elated cheering of adventurers.
“Whos that?”
“Shes the girl that was with that brat.”
Daniel knew Toa’s face as he was hiding behind a building that time that Raid has cause such a ruckus in the square.
“That woman.”
Raid glared at her from a distance.
“Does this mean that brat is here too?”
Raid looked around the area but didn’t see any sign of Masamune.
“《Lightning Roar》!”
Toa unleashed a bolt of lighting at a cockatrice obliterating half it’s body in an instant.
“Is that best you can do?”
Raid smiled fearlessly at the magic, but what he said wasn’t out of anger but was instead praising Toa.
“Lets help out!”
One of the adventurers suggested to Reinhardt.
“Wait, leave it to her, if you get involved you might end up getting in her way.”
Reinhardt looked at Toa and her surroundings with a blank expression.
“To think she could do this much, did she hold back last time?”
Raid became aware if the nootkeranes as he said this.
“Raid, get back here! There are still two left!”
In response to Daniel’s shout Raid returned to the battlefield.

Toa shot down wyvern and cockatrice while Edward and Emily hunted other B rank monsters to keep them away from Sierra and the others.
“Sierra these guys are all that’s left, lets take em out!”
“Ok!”
There were only two Bison soldiers left, Toa had helped turn the tide of battle.
“《Sacred bind》!”
Hilda stopped their movements.
“Sierra now!”
“OK!”
Sierra jumped out from behind Hilda.
“《Ice Blade》”
Sierra dashed forward cutting into a Bison soldiers neck before carrying on to the neck one. As she finished it off a cheer rose up around them, it was their second win.
“Thank you for intervening.”
Cedric spoke to Toa as he came over.
“I didn’t think you would be this strong, thanks for your help.”
“Who are you?”
Toa had completely forgotten his face.
“Uhm…well… I just wanted to thank you.”
Cedric smiled and ran back over towards Yogi.
“Toa we finished.”
“Yeah…”
Toa and Sierra smiled at each other in congratulations but beside them Nem grew red in the face with anger.
“You cheated! I didn’t even get to do anything?
Why am I even here?! I don’t know!”
Toa tried to comfort Nem who didn’t have a chance to participate in the battle.
“Nem, all the adventurers were here to fulfill a quest so if you killed all the monsters then you would have stolen that from them.”
Nem puffed out her cheeks.
“So then, did Toa steal from them too?”
“Huh?”
Toa was at a loss for how to answer.
“Uhm, this time I was also a little bad, I used too much power.”
“So you stole from the same people then?”
Toa cringed.
“Thats……sorry.”
Not knowing how to answer all she could to was Apologize.
“Well then, Nem will accept Toa’s meat as recompense! ”
There was still some left over meat at the mansion, it seemed like that was Nem’s true goal.
“Wait, Nem?”
Nem covers her mouth to keep from laughing.
“If it’s just that you can give it to Nem right?”
“O-ok..”
Nem was innocent, but she turned her face away from Toa so that she couldn’t see the evil expression on Nems face.
“Toa, all that’s left is the Nootkeranes, well help!”
“Ok!”
“Nems going to help too!”
The surviving adventurers lay on the ground exhausted, Cedric and Yogi among them.
“Its over.”
“Cedric, I forgot how good this feels. I feel so alive for the first time in a long time.”
“…..I see.”
Cedric laughed and the two of them lay there looking at the sky.
There was a reason the Yogi got involved with Masamune, back then he couldn’t stand the idea of a new adventurer signing up and going on an adventure. But now, Yogi himself got the feeling that we wanted to go on am adventure.
“Cedric, lets have a feast.”
Cedric smiled, he wondered how many years it had been since Yogi had last said that to him. But soon his smile disappeared and despair settled over the adventurers as the ground began shaking again.
“Oi….wait, this isn’t funny!”
A cyclops.
A cyclops along with several S rank monster’s appeared and tears began to fall from the eyes of many adventurers. They looked on with no change in facial expression, no one spoke, but in their hearts, they had already lost.

Gido watched from the top of the hill, seeming to enjoy himself.
“Now this is despair! They can’t even pick their swords back up!”
