I entered the big mansion, my heart was thumping wildly, feeling nervous of what kind of welcoming I’d receive. When we went through the entrance, we were welcomed by a young man and woman with navy blue hair. The two of them smiled at the sight of us.

The woman that approached us with a light trot was only a little bit taller than me but I guess according to Alsar’s standard, she was quite short. Her fluffy, long hair was tied up in a half updo. A short-haired man that looked tough came following from behind her. Just from one glance, I could already tell he was Chris-san’s brother.
Chris-san smiled and received the hug from the woman who came running to greet him. Judging from their conversation, I knew this woman was Syutina-sama and this man was Mauritz-sama.
“Big brother, these people here are…?”
While still hugging Chris-san, Syutina-san asked, tilting her head to the side. I remembered Chris-san said she was 26 years old this year but she didn’t look that much older than me. She looked so adorable, just like a doll.
“Yeah. That’s right~ I will introduce them together with father and the others, okay?~”
“I understand. Then please allow me to introduce myself first. It’s a pleasure to meet you, everyone. My name is Syutina.”
After Chris-san said he’d introduce us when his father and the others were present, Syutina-sama separated herself from Chris-san’s embrace. She slightly lifted the hem of her skirt and gently bowed her head as she introduced herself to us.

Mauritz-sama also introduced himself but when he saw the figure of Fer-san and Sig-san who were standing behind us, he looked so surprised and froze up for a second before he quickly kneeled right here and there.
Ah… Chris-san must’ve only told them that he’s going to bring his fiancé and didn’t tell anything else. He’s a knight that’s working for the castle so well… This is what’s going to happen…
He was a handsome man with the same slightly droopy eyes as Chris-san and… I had thought about this when I met with the royalty but really, the people of this house… The bar of their beauty was exceedingly high…
“… For now, just think of me as just Fer, not Ferdinand the royalty.”
Fer-san said that with a troubled and bitter smile on his face but Mauritz-san still kept the same kneeling posture without changing anything.

“Geez Mau! You’re still as hard-headed as ever, huh?~ Fer is the one who said that so it should be fine, right? Come now, stand up, stand up! Syuti, can you lead us to where father and the others are? Everyone too, follow along~”
Seeing that, Chris-san pat Mauritz-sama on the back and urged him to raise his head.

Albeit reluctantly, Mauritz-sama finally relented and stood from his kneeling position, earning a bunch of nods from Chris-san. Chris-san then asked Syutina-sama to lead the way and turned his back at us, who was still standing still at the entrance and told us to follow along.
Syutina-sama was smiling as she walked while holding onto Chris-san’s arm. The three of us were walking side by side followed by Mauritz-sama from behind us.
“Syuti? You’re already someone’s wife and a mother so you shouldn’t keep clinging to your brother, you know?~”
“But it’s been a long time since I last saw you, big brother! What’s wrong with a younger sister wanting to act spoiled with her big brother?! … Your spouse, is it this person?”
As we were walking, Chris-san tried to pry Syutina-sama off but Syutina-sama wouldn’t let go. In fact, she was holding onto Chris-san with more force than before. Syutina-sama then turned her face around, inspecting our face one by one before she smiled at me.

The two people that were walking in front of me stopped in their tracks. I remembered on the day of our meeting with His Highness, Chris-san was speaking more neatly, instead of drawing out his sentences like he used to.
So Chris-san would be speaking like usual in front of Syuti-san and Mau-san but not in front of his father? Apparently their parent-children relationship was a bit different than usual.
Syuti-san obediently let Chris-san’s hand go and Mau-san opened the door for us.

“Huh? Big brother Chris is coming back next month?”
“That’s right! Moreover, he’s bringing his fiancé with him! I wonder what he’s like?”

“Well of course! You need to remember to take the day off for that, okay?”

I recalled the conversation I had with my big sister 2 weeks ago while I was walking behind them. My big sister suddenly visited me at the knight’s barrack in the castle and she told me that my big brother Chris, who was working as an adventurer, was coming to visit us.
Big brother Chris was one of the few A-ranked adventurers in this kingdom so he was pretty well known amongst the knights. When I first started working as a knight, the other knights were more curious about the fact that I was the younger brother of that Lightning Twin Sword Chris rather than the fact that I came from a noble family.

I muttered to myself, careful enough to not let the people walking in front of me overheard me.
When I greeted my big brother and the others earlier, I had thought my heart was going to stop when I realized who was coming with him. I knew my brother and His Highness were close since they were both adventurers but I didn’t know His Highness would be coming with him too.
I immediately kneeled but His Highness told me that I didn’t need to treat him like royalty on this occasion, it actually made me troubled because I didn’t know what I should do. My brother then helped me and urged me to stand up before we started walking to where father and the others were.
“-I am in favor of this marriage. I am on your side even if my father and the others have different opinions about it.”

“Ah, me too. Since my big brother has finally found someone he’s determined to marry, I don’t have anything against it.”
I was lost in my own thoughts that I didn’t catch what my big sister was saying but I also didn’t have anything to say against this marriage in the first place so I also voiced the same opinion as her.
My big brother was popular but he never got attached to just one person. He always fluttered from one person to another, just like a butterfly. When I heard that older brother of mine had found his spouse, I was really curious so I really did my best to make sure I could have a day off for today.
The fiancé of my older brother, whom I thought would stay single forever, was now walking in front of me. He was short and looked like a small child but his face… His features didn’t look that young I guess? You could only get married when you had turned 15 so he must be older than 15.
