After he confirmed which goods I was pointing at, the old man asked the other shopkeeper there to wrap it up for me. Apparently this old man had a pretty high position in this store. He then looked at my face and grinned.

I heard Chris-san calling for me from behind. Turning around, I saw both Chris-san and Fer-san coming our way with a bag of sweets in their hands.

“Right? They don’t look too sweet so I think these will be good for the kids that don’t like sweet things.”
Chris-san had brought a bag of cookies with the name ‘Salt Cookies’ written on the bag. There were cookies of different shapes in that bag. It seemed one bag had 5 cookies in it. Just like what Fer-san had said, salted cookies shouldn’t taste as sweet as ordinary cookies.

“Umm… They are all my fiancés too.”

I summoned the guild card from my body and handed it over to the old man.

If I wasn’t wrong, there were about 50 A-rank adventurers so it was a given he didn’t get much chance seeing them. I had some cash with me but I only had about 40.000 elk right now. I tried to pay with a card if the store would accept it since I wanted to save the cash I had in case I shopped at a store that only accepted cash.

The old man then sent us off with a huge grin on his face.
“I’m also thankful for the service. Well now, I’ll be leaving then.”
I slightly bowed at the old man before I left the store.

“No? Next, I want to choose some handkerchiefs for the staff. Maybe we should go to a general store?”
