After meeting with the owner of the building, the owner brought me into his building to see. The 1st floor is 15m by 12m and have a height of 8m while the 2nd floor is also 15m by 12m but a height of 2.5m. There are multiple rows of long rectangular tables which looks like a school's cafeteria and the kitchen is at the back. When I use my finger to run across the tables, the tip of my finger is covered in oil, dirt and dust. The chairs are also unstable. "Back on earth I would never have agreed the buy a building like this. Too bad my starting point is too low. This building is already considered pretty good already. I just have to do some renovation... looks like I will have to borrow some money from uncle Wang 1st" I thought to myself. After the owner and I signed the required documents which would have been much faster in my previous world because of the advance technology, the ownership for the building was transferred to me.

［As system function: shop has been unlocked, host will be awarded with a reward］
［Host have received 'One time renovation card'］
"What does the card do?" I asked the system mentally.
［'One time renovation card' renovates the building into store (lvl 1). The tables, chair, wallpapers, floor tiles and everything in this building will be replaced］
"They will all be replaced?? Naisuuu! I don't have to borrow any money now." (naisu means nice, I wanted to use naisu so I used naisu :P )
As everyone left, I was left alone in the store. "Use the renovation card."
［'One time renovation card has been used, time left until completion is 10 hours.］
"So long? I expected it to finish on the spot. I'll guess I'll just have dinner and head to bed early." I thought to myself.
［As the equipments are top quality, the installation process will take longer. If the equipments are of your old world, the process would have been over in an instant. Also, no cooking is allowed until the renovation is over］
"Eh? looks like I will have to eat outside...now that I think about it, I've haven't tried this world's cooking yet."
I went out as I looked at the amount of money I'm left with. "68 silvers..18 from my own earnings plus 50 which was given to me by uncle Wang." When I stepped out of my store, I saw the bustling restaurant next door. "Since I want to know the standard of this world's food, the biggest restaurant in the city should be a good baseline."
Since it was about 3pm, I didn't have to queue long before I could enter. Looking at the menu in front of me, I ordered a deep fried azure river fish and stir fried wild vegetables. The items on the menu cost from as low as 5 silvers to as high as 1 gold. Apparently this is just the menu for the 1st floor. The following floors have their own menus and the price will increase even further. However, one need special status or VIP level to go to higher floors and since I'm hella broke, I didn't even thought about going up to eat. Just the 2 dishes of mine already cost me 20 silvers.
When the dishes are out, I started eating the vegetables 1st. "There are too much stems and not enough leaves. The vegetables is undercooked and artificial flavorings were obviously added to enhance the flavor. Disappointing." I thought to myself as I took a bite off the deep fried fish.
"This fish should be used for grilling yet they used it to deep fry. The oil hasn't been changed for days and the fish have been fried for too long. The meat is mushy and too much oil went into the flesh. The fishy smell wasn't completely removed as well. Even more disappointing."
"Since this is just the 1st floor, the chefs must be different as well so I shouldn't expect too much. Also these are one of the cheapest items on the menu." Even though I said so much negative comments about them, I still finished all as I hate food wasting and I am respectful towards the ingredients. ( I also respect da wahmen very much)
After my meal, I went back and took one of the more stable chairs outside of my door and sat on it. "Tomorrow my restaurant will be opened. Tomorrow shall be a long day." I said as I watch the diamond-like stars in the sky.
