Sophie felt the heat of the morning sun rays coming through the floor to ceiling window fall on her eyes, she furrowed her brows and slowly opened her eyes. She felt a weight on her waist, she raised her hand and touched to know what it was, she felt a warm and muscular hand holding her waist tightly without intention of letting go.
Chris raised his head from behind her and kissed her neck "Good morning dear" he said with a rapsy voice. She smiled and tried to sit up "Mmmm" she felt pain in her abdominal area, she closed her eyes and bit her lower lip to suppress the pain.
Chris knew what was wrong, he stood up from the bed and came to her side, he touched her face and arranged her hair from her face and put them behind her ears "Stay, dont move"
"Mmm" she nodded in reply
He went to the bathroom and filled the big round bath tub with warm water, made some bubbles then smiled in satisfaction, he came back to the room and gently wrapped her in the bedspread then he carried her in his arm and took her to the bathroom. He gently removed the bedspread from her body and slowly submerge her body in the bath tub then caressed her hair "I will be in the shower, if you need help just call" he turned to leave but she held his hand
He stopped and turned then sat on the edge of the tub "You want something?".
"Just stay with me" she tightened the grip on his hand.
"Ok" smiled then took of his short and entered the tub, he sat beside her and pulled her into his embrace.

"I accept your proposal father" Chris sat on the chair opposite to his father in the study room at Marks Mansion.
"Good" he said with a cold voice
He stood up from the chair and walked to the door, he turned and with a serious voice "If i take the CEO role, i want full control over everything in the family businesses. That means you have no say in anything anymore"
"Greedy ehn" his father chuckled
"I learned from the best" his gaze sharpened
"Well, i knew this day will come so you have my word. I won't interfere in whatever you do"
"Good" he pursed his lips then continued "Take care of yourself and take your medicines on time"
