He watched everything, he couldn't handle such humiliation and disgrace that has been done to his daughter, he had a heart attack. Before Brock can even take him to the hospital, he made him promise not to tell Chris anything. He didn't want to inform Chris because he knew he was taking care of Beatrix, and he had to handle the media that published the video, he need to find who did it. He died 2 hours after they reached the hospital, his body was too weak to handle the strain of the heart attack.

"Did you find anything?" Chris was on the phone as he paced left to right in Beatrix's hospital room.
"The News Company said the video was sent to them by an anonymous person, although we were able to track the IP address, we were late as the person already left the location and destroyed the entire system" a man explained
"We are dealing with a really influential person but who" Chris paused for a second before he continued "Just inform me of any progress"
"Ok sir"
Chris then hung up and sat on a chair in the hospital room, he looked at Beatrix who was sleeping peaceful with a warm and loving smile "Am sorry i wasn't there for you", he was spaced out when suddenly his phone rang, he checked the ID then answered.
"Yes" he uttered
"Sir, Old Mr. Mark had a heart attack last night, now we are at the hospital" Brock spoke with a calm and solemn voice
"How is he now?"
"He..He's gone" Brocks voice sounded low as he ended the sentense. There was silence on the line before Chris spoke "What did the doctors say?"
"He was poisoned by chemicals which made his immune system too weak to handle the heart attack"
"The culprit?"
"The nurse taking care of him. We found the chemicals in her room but when we searched for her, we only found her dead body"
"Ok, just keep looking and inform me when you find anything" Chris then hung up and rubbed his face with his palm.
Again his phone rang, this time it was Mr. Wong.
"Yes whats wrong?"
"Master everything is wrong. You have to come to the office right away" his voice sounded worried
"Ok i will there soon" he hung up and dialed another number "James, am going to the office. You come here and stay with Breatrix"
"Sorry Chris but am....." Chris interupted
"It wasn't a request, it was an order" then he hung up.
He stood up and walked up to Beatrix then leaned and kissed her forehead, he caressed her cheek "I will be back soon". He turned and left the room.

"Boss all the investors are cancelling their investments with Marks Corps, just as you predicted" Mrs. John smirked evily
"Whats the next step boss?"
"Take Sophie and use the baby"
"What baby?" Mrs. John furrowed her brows
"Your daughter is pregnant with his child"
"What?!" she shouted in shock
"Just do as instructed and i will call you later"
"Ok boss"
She hung up and stared at the phone "Why didn't she tell me?" she murmured

Sophie was sitting on the couch in Chris apartment when the doorbell rang, she opened the door and saw two men in suits standing at the door.
"The boss wants to meet you now" one of the men said
"Ok, one minute" She went back and took her phone then went with them.
