Fatty Sami was standing in front of an old building that had four stories and was yelling instructions at the people who were painting the building with red paint in their hands.
"But, third captain, I don't have a girlfriend, so I don't know how to do it," The young man to whom the instruction was given responded with a dejected tone while lowering his head.
"Are you stupid? Do you believe I have a girlfriend waiting for me at home? Make one up in your head and act on it. It shouldn't be that difficult. Move aside, let me show you how to do it. ''
Sami stormed forward in a furious manner and snatched the brush out of the boy's hands. He then started to paint the wall in a delicate and artistic manner.
"Wow, brother, you have such talent." The young man said in surprise.
''He is very talented even at this, as one would expect from the third captain,'' said another young man admiringly.
''I wish you could use that talent of yours to lose those extra pounds and find yourself a girlfriend. '' With a sigh, one of the aunts who had been sweeping the floor in the back said.
''Gagh. ''
Fatty Sami had his eyes closed and was painting the wall with all of his concentration as if he were meditating, but all of a sudden he felt as if an arrow had been stabbed in his back by what he heard, and he dropped the brush.
''Aunty, stop joking. I doubt anyone would look at this shameless guy even if he lost weight.'' As Pana left Raydon's house carrying a rag and a pair of cleaning gloves, she joined the conversation.
''Geaghh. ''
In pain from the second arrow on his back, Sami whirled and yelled. ''Could you please stop mentioning me and concentrate on your work? Who also requires a girlfriend? When I awaken as an item holder, they'll all be lining up at my door, pleading to be my lover. ''
''I don't want to break your heart, Sami, but there isn't a line of people waiting at my door. '' As Sami and the others carried on with their drama, a young man with a skinny build and blond hair strolled down the street's entrance and joined in.
''The second captain is here. Greetings, second captain. '' As Karan approached them, one of the young men in the painting quickly turned and saluted him in a military fashion.

As Karan approached them, a slight smile on his face and a serious intensity in his eyes, everyone greeted him and then gazed admiringly at the gray 3 tattooed on his hand.
''A bunch of idiots. Even though I'm the third captain, you've never treated me so respectfully. ''Sami muttered, spitting on the ground as he observed everyone's expression of admiration.
Pana said sarcastically, "Fatty if you awaken as well, of course you will get the respect you deserve. " However, she also couldn't hide the impatient expression on her face.
Karan had recently become the second person to awaken, following in Dan's footsteps, and this provided everyone with additional motivation to awaken as item holders. Also, another reason for everyone's impatience to awaken as quickly as possible was that they had made the decision to give the title of captain to the first three people who had the first awakening.
Karan received the rank of second captain because it was decided to dole out titles after he became an item holder. The first captain title naturally went to Dan, who was previously everyone's boss and the first to awaken.
As the position of third captain was open at the time, Sami volunteered to fill it. Naturally, by convincing everyone with his loud mouth.
''It's only a matter of time. I feel as though something is missing; once I find it, I will soon awaken. '' Sami narrowed his eyes at Karan and remarked.
Even though they all learned the same technique, the timing of their awakening and the titles they were given were determined by factors such as their potential and the qualities that made up their personalities.
As a result, once they had reached their full potential using the technique that they had learned, the final obstacle that stood in the way of their awakening needed to be located and conquered.
''Dan's awakening occurred when the Master showed him how to use the technique, so it was inevitable. But you know, it wasn't simple for me. More practice is required, Fatty. '' Karan said.

"Yeah, and this place is still as dull as ever. Perhaps we could plant some flowers and make a small garden for Master to look out on while he relaxes at home. '' After some thought, Pana added.
After Raydon wiped out Herman and his gang and Dan awakened as an item holder, there were no rival gangs left to stop them from ruling the area.
They also moved the residents of this and all of the streets surrounding it so that they wouldn't bother Raydon, and they made it their primary objective to transform this neighborhood into a place where Raydon could live in peace and quiet.
