Shola waited till Nathan was fully recovered before she set the date to meet him.
Henry arrived in City S the same day she called him, she laughed so hard when her brother said he was disappointed in her, they both know it was because of the food.
When Shola met her brother, she was sort of emotional.
He had grown so much, he was no longer that little chubby kid that annoyed her alot.
She was quite surprised to see how handsome her brother became
'seriously, puberty isn't so bad!'
When they both arrived at Mrs Thomas' restaurant, she was quite pleased to see the both of them
"It's been so long, Sholana, Henry. See how big you kids have grown!" the middle aged woman said as she looked at the from head to toe, she approached Henry and pinched his cheeks "Look at how nice you look now, I remember those days when you were known as Henry the bulldozer" Mrs Thomas laughed heartily as she took their orders.
Shola was completely relaxed, the familiar atmosphere made her feel like she was 16 again, she stared at her brother whose eyes kept following Mrs Thomas everywhere like she owed him serious money
"Can't you atleast be patient?" Shola asked
Henry shook his head immediately "Is it just me or has Mrs Thomas become slower than before?" Henry looked at his sister, stroking his chin as if he was deep in thought.
Soon their food was served and Shola didn't even finish thanking Mrs Thomas before Henry began to wolf down his food.
If anyone saw him like this they would think that he is being starved at his house
"Does dad starve you?" Shola asked half teasing.
Henry nodded his head slowly as he took a glass of water "He says he wants me to stay fit, you know, to have a good image as his son"
"So thats why you lost so much weight!"
Shola said poking his shoulder
"What are you talking about?, you're the one who forced me to start going to the gym after mom and dad's divorce"
Henry creased his brows in confusion
Shola took a deep breath as she looked at her brother "The truth is that, I lost my memories. Well, nine years of it"
Henry mouth gaped open as he stared ast his sister
"When....when did this happen?"
"A few months ago" Shola said, Henry stuffed his mouth till his face was round and nodded
"Mom didn't tell us anything, why is that woman so godson childish!" Henry said angrily, she divorced their father for a stupid reason and now she's keeping secrets about his sister's health.
"Actually, mom had her own reasons for not telling you but, I asked to meet up because I wanted to know how you and dad are doing"
Shola smiled warmly at her brother, she missed her father, he always doted on her. She could imagine how hurt he would be when he finds out that they kept such a secret from him.
"Well, dad is fine.He's been wanting to call you for some time now but he has been too busy" Henry said as he stared at his empty plate like he wasn't satisfied.
"Oh, how's Nathan?, you did say he wasn't feeling well"
"Nah...he's fine now"
Shola and her brother chatted for awhile till the sky became dark, Henry decide to go back to his hotel while Shola headed back to the villa.
"Butler Stan?, hello?" The house was dark and quiet, Shola had an extreme feeling of déjà vu.
She quickly turned on her phone's torch and walked upstairs.
She opened the door to her room and to her surprise there was a woman in the room too.
"Who are you?" Shola asked, she knew it wasn't Joanna because she wasn't that tall, she was confused as to why a woman she didn't .
The laughed softly as she said "So old madam was right, you really don't remember anything" The woman walked close to Sholana and grabbed her wrist
"So.....you really think you will e able to be with Nathan for long huh?"
Elizabeth didn't hide the disdain in her expression as she sneered and squeezed Shola's wrist tightly "Nathan is mine.....get that!"
She flung Shola's wrist and walked away, before she reached the door she heard a cold laughter from behind her
"I don't know who you are but....if ask anyone that knows me they will tell you
that I don't care about anyone's threats and, I don't share my things with anyone so, don't have any thoughts about my husband or else...that filthy hand you used to touch me won't exist anymore!"
Elizabeth felt her back drenched in cold sweat as she felt the coldness coming from Shola's voice
She acted indifferent and walked away.
Shola stared at the door and a sly smile appeared on her face
"It seems I now have a love rival!"
