The ground where the poison had hit it was melting and pitted with smoke with a sizzling sound. It was considerably smaller than the snake I had defeated before, but the strength of this venom must be the reason for its high rank.

I moved to the side as my crisis high-speed sensing reacted. Then, something like a shock wave passed by where I was, cleaving the trees.

It was a bat about 3 meters in height that released the shockwave at me. I hit the flying bat with the spirit magic with Zeal. Then, I aimed at the part where it fell numb and cut its torso in half.

In the deep forest, instead of the absence of undead, there are more monsters that I have never seen around here before.
