Chapter 49: Most unique autograph (1)

Qiao Dai was asked by Lang Xing today.

However, the purpose was not a date or to get a drink but to get some extracurricular teaching for the upcoming second public performance.

Tonight’s performance in the bar they went to was a well-known underground band. They had a group of diehard fans cheering for them and their music had a wild style. Music critics would usually say that their music was similar to the animal kingdom and could tear the audience apart. The emotions people would feel when listening to them were facing predators hunting their prey and the band’s incredible beat would let them lose their shackles and enjoy themselves freely.

Qiao Dai had never seen this kind of style before, which was completely different from her previous stage. It made her feel very fresh and novel and an unprecedented burst of inspiration spread through her; it suddenly broke through a problem that had been troubling her and her eyes flowed with new ideas.

A few days ago, Lang Xing had suddenly agreed to cooperate with Qiao Dai’s team but before they had time to celebrate, they had all discovered a serious issue: their current ability was not enough for Sirius.

They were trainees who had not debuted yet and Sirius was recognized as the most powerful boy band nowadays. Even if people dismissed their style as too different from the girls, the gap in their basic skills couldn’t be ignored.

The tutors advised they should divide the performance into two parts; one for the Qiao Dai’s team and one for Sirius, in order to reduce the direct comparison between them. Unfortunately, this would mean the cooperation effect would be greatly reduced and they would not be able to perform what was asked of them. Passive cooperation was barely adequate and now that they had found such powerful guests, they had to give their all to bring an even better stage.

Although Lang Xing had always disliked young girls, he didn’t hate Qiao Dai and her teammates; he even had some respect for people who cared about the stage just as much as he did. Unfortunately, he really didn’t know how to teach anyone and he decided to call Qiao Dai to experience a different performance personally.

“What did you think?”

Lang Xing walked over slowly and casually asked the girl about the show.

Qiao Dai started nodding her head very seriously and her big eyes seemed to be shining in the dim bar.

“Thank you, teacher Lang Xing! I know what we should do for our performance now!”

As she answered, she noticed something from the corner of her eyes and shouted softly: “Cheng Su?”

She turned her head and looked not far away. Her sight met Cheng Su, who looked a little displeased, and when he heard his name being called, he slowly made his way to her, before stopping between Qiao Dai and Lang Xing. This position created a strong separation between them but whether they were humans or animals, they both had their own preferred safety distance. Especially when considering that Lang Xing was an artist signed under Cheng Su’s company and both he and Qiao Dai instinctively backed up a few steps.

“President Cheng?” Lang Xing looked at the man with a bit of surprise and couldn’t help but recall the day he had met Qiao Dai under the heavy rain. Cheng Su had personally driven Qiao Dai back to the program group and Lang Xing suddenly realized something.

Cheng Su glanced at Lang Xing and his gaze fell on Qiao Dai again. He stayed silent for a moment and asked: “Why are you here?”

In his eyes, he and Qiao Dai were considered to be from the same marine clan. Although the girl was just a dumb little sea otter, he was not happy to watch her run away with someone else stupidly.

The noise in the bar was very loud and the sound concealed the unhappiness in his tone. Qiao Dai raised her voice slightly and replied: “Teacher Lang Xing brought me here to learn.”

Learn?

Tutoring?

After a second of confusion, Cheng Su remembered he had told her to go to Galaxy’s headquarters to find a guest. And when he thought of this, he couldn’t help but sigh.

Sure enough, she was really good at picking people.
