Chapter 53: Who is Cheng Su looking for backstage? (2)

While He Jing was being scolded on the Internet, the second public performance was still ongoing. Qiao Dai and her team came off the stage and returned to their dressing room to remove their makeup. At this moment, there was a sudden rush of footsteps at the food and He Jing broke in furiously. After searching the room for a few seconds, he found Lan Xing in the corner.

“Lang Xing! What do you mean by those words! When did I offend you? Are you trying to fuck me up?”

He Jing looked very emotional and very angry. Nobody knew where he had found this new courage; he had never dared talk to Lang Xing before and he was now yelling at him.

He must be crazy, right?

The rest of the people in the room looked at He Jing in surprise, before calling the staff over in a hurry. They had just stepped off the stage and didn’t know what was happening on the Internet; they didn’t understand why He Jing was behaving like this and they rushed to find someone a bit desperately.

“Teacher Lang Xing is just stating facts, what don’t you review yourself first?”

Before Lang Xing could answer, Qiao Dai had already spoken. She looked a little annoyed and was staring at He Jing with wide eyes, just like a little wolf pup with its teeth and claws out.

He Jing’s gaze fell on Qiao Dai and remembered she was also one of the reasons he was getting scolded tonight. Dazzled by anger and after learning his time in the circle was basically over, he cursed: “Shut up! Everything is your fault! You’re just newcomers, it’s not worthy of us to perform with you! I’m laughing to death right now, sister, look at you! You are so good you can already hug Lang Xing’s thigh, your future must be boundless!”

“He Jing, be quiet!”

“Lang Xing, you dare hit me!”

He Jing was so angry. He was being cursed at everywhere on the Internet and was now being hit when he had come to find the culprits. He was in pain and full of hatred but when he raised his head again, he noticed the three men from Sirius guarding the girls behind them and quickly lost courage. He gritted his teeth bitterly and said: “You just wait!”

He turned around and tried to slip out but before he could take a few steps, another tall figure stopped him. He looked up and saw the man was wearing casual clothes.

Cheng Su had come backstage after Qiao Dai’s performance. On the way, he had run into a few staff members rushing to the dressing room. The room inside was a mess and He Jing’s face was red. He was swearing at people and trying to escape.

“President Cheng?”

The girl closest to the door recognized him instantly. She didn’t expect to see President Cheng here, let alone wearing casual clothes; he didn’t look like a multi-billion businessman but more like a fan who was chasing stars.

He Jing realized who the man was when someone shouted his name. Wasn’t the Cheng Group the parent company of Galaxy? Wasn’t President Cheng Lang Xing’s boss? These big bosses hated troublesome employees the most, he didn’t believe Lang Xing’s violence against him would go unpunished.

Thinking about this, he quickly rushed to Cheng Su and accused: “President Cheng, Lang Xing punched me! Does your company do nothing about it?”

He Jing shuddered as soon as his words fell. He met with the man’s cold eyes and thought a predator was biting his throat.

“Do you want to sue?”

Cheng Su glanced at He Jing who was already shaking in front of him and frowned impatiently. What was wrong with the entertainment industry now, everybody was so arrogant.

His voice sounded a little annoyed and He Jing couldn’t help but shiver even more. His legs went soft and he could hardly stand up anymore.

“Useless.”

Cheng Su said disgustedly and didn’t bother to look at him anymore.

“But if you want to sue Lang Xing anyway, no one will stop you.”

Galaxy’s public relations team was not a decoration. He Jing, who was full of scandals, would not have the courage to stand in court… wasn’t he afraid to dig an even bigger hole?

He Jing’s eyes were dark and his heart was bleeding with hatred. But he had no choice but to be dragged out on the grounds of threatening the players’ safety.

Some fans were waiting outside the venue and noticed the commotion. They quickly took pictures and posted them on the Internet. For a while, news of He Jing being kicked out was spread everywhere and some people released more information and said he was yelling at players in the dressing room.

Soon after, Galaxy issued an official statement expressing its willingness to pay He Jing’s medical expenses and mental damage but asked him to apologize for his inappropriate remarks and to the frightened ’s contestants.

If the previous instance had only made He Jing anxious, Galaxy’s official statement undoubtedly became a reminder. Netizens who didn’t know what had happened quickly investigated to shed light on the whole incident: He Jing had broken into the dressing room of Qiao Dai’s team and had made trouble. He had cursed and insulted the girls and Lang Xing had stepped forward and punched him. In the end, He Jing had announced he would sue him.

After getting the whole story, netizens were furious in an instant. What kind of man was that? Who would blame someone for the messy things you had done yourself? So shameful!

In addition to criticizing He Jing, netizens also expressed their support for Sirius and their distress to the girls, comforting them not to take tonight’s things to heart.

[Ah, ah, Lang Xing is a real man!]

[We feel sorry for our little sisters who suffered from He Jing’s performance!]

[Galaxy’s PR is amazing, slapped He Jing to death in a few seconds!]

He Jing’s agent was going crazy and yelled: “Are you stupid? How did you manage to offend Galaxy too? Do you want to die?”

He Jing, was also dumbfounded. He kept reading the issued statement and realized they didn’t want to leave him anyway of survival.

His agent’s constant yelling echoed in his ears and a terrifying thought arose.

No, it wasn’t Lang Xing!

He had definitely offended someone much more important!

Galaxy’s public relations were indeed great but never before had it directly made a statement so quickly. Unless a person above had spoken, how could he have been threatened as soon as he had stepped out of the building?

He Jing suddenly thought of Cheng Su, who had appeared backstage for no reason and couldn’t help but hold his breath.

Judging from his clothes, he had definitely not been here for Sirius. Then, who had he been looking for backstage?

***

“Qiao Dai.” Cheng Su raised his hand and knocked on the door twice. He mentioned for her to come over, he had something to say.
