Back inside the studio, Ji An sat quietly on one corner with her hand hugging her own body to give her much needed warmth. Although the heater had been turned on inside the studio, there was indescribable chill spread all over her body. She couldn't forget the terror she had experienced before and even her effort to recall would make her body turned cold all over again. Noticing Ji An sat quietly on one corner, Jun pitied her and he went to the kitchen setting to make a cup of hot chocolate.
Since the shooting going to start soon, Jun couldn't give the handmade chocolate to Ji An and could only pass it to nearby staff to pass it to her. Of course, the female staff happily took the cup of chocolate and assisted Jun. After all it was one in a lifetime opportunity to be able to talk so closely with Lee Jun. Although the female staff took the cup of chocolate, her mind was full of question. She just realized that the girl sitting in the corner was neither part of her team, nor she was part of the furniture company. The female staff elbowed her nearest colleague and raised her head towards Ji An direction ,"Who is that girl?"
Her colleague, still holding box of props looked into pointed direction and shrugged her shoulder ,"I don't know. Let's go and ask. If PD-nim knows the studio had unauthorized personnel, he will kill us for sure." Both girls paraded over to Ji An and cautiously approaching her.
"Hey. This is for you." One of the female staff passed over the cup of chocolate to her. She still remembered her duty. Apparently top star request could beat everything.
Surprised by the kind gestures from stranger, Ji An took the chocolate and could feel the warmth emanated from the cup, giving her nice tingling sensation from her fingertips and it slowly moved towards other parts of her body. "Thank you" She sincerely thanked both girls with a smile.
Looking at her smiling and friendly face, both staff started their interrogation, "We've never seen you before. Are you new?"
"En. I am" No point beating around the bush, Ji An just answered the question truthfully.
"From which company? Are you new staff from marketing team?"
"Oh, no no. I am not joining any company. I am here as Lee Jun manager." Ji An did not know what impact she had brought with her simple answer. She did not find it weird at all. After all, every artists in entertainment industry should have a manager by their side. So, her answer was perfectly fine.
Silence fell upon three of them. Ji An thought both girls had fulfilled their curiosity and she just held her chocolate and sipped it slowly, assuming both would leave her alone. She started to enjoy the rich taste and warmth of the chocolate, thinking how perfect the flavor was. It was not too sweet and milky, with a strong dark chocolate taste which Ji An preferred.
Suddenly she heard both girls shrieked and pulled unnecessary attention from everyone around them. Ji An innocently thought it had nothing to with her, but when both girls suddenly knelt in front of her with puppy eyes, she started to get confuse. One of the girls literally threw her props box on the floor, with a loud thudding sound and knelt together with the other girls in front of her.
"Uh, what? Why both of you kneeling in front of me?" Ji An could not explain their peculiar action.
"Eonni? Can you repeat what you said?"
"Um, why both you kneeling in front of me? This one?" More perplexed, Ji An repeated her question again.
"No, no. Not this one. The previous one." Both girls getting frustrated to get confirmation
"I am Lee Jun's manager?" Still unsure, Ji An was tracing her memory back to whatever she had said before. 'Damn, I am not a photocopy machine, how could I remember exactly what I said.'
"Eonni, do you mean that Lee Jun? The one in front of us, doing the shooting, now now?"
"Uh, yeah." Thinking that they might have other Lee Jun around, she was confirming both girls. Her answer seemed like dropping a bomb to both girls. They were surprised and both opened their mouth, slightly moving without any sound.
"It can't be." Once they able to find their voice, both said the same words in disbelief. Ji An still did not understand the whole situation, getting more and more confused. Can they don't do this to me? What did I do wrong exactly? And why did they see me as an exotic animal? Did I hurt my face just now? Did it look weird? A thousand question started to pop inside Ji An's brain and before she could grab mirror from her small handbag, both girls let out another happy squealing sound and grabbing her hand.
They grabbed her hands hard and she politely tried to remove herself from their grip but her effort proven futile. "Eonni, how does it feel to be Jun Oppa manager? Wasn't it wonderful? You can look at him everyday."
'Huh? Jun Oppa? Hell' She did not want to crush both girls fantasy so she just replied ,"It's normal. I just started actually." Feeling that she made the right answer, she felt like patting herself in the head and said 'Good job, Ji An.'
"How can it be normal? It is Jun Oppa. He's handsome even when he's sleeping. Ah Eonni, you sure are lucky" They were still praising Ji An non-stop and trying to get her favor. Maybe they could see Jun Oppa more from her manager.
"Speaking of which, you are really lucky, Eonni. Jun oppa never have a manager before in his whole career life. You are the chosen one." The girls next sentence just trailed off. Ji An couldn't hear anything after the first one.
