So this was quite easy mission and he doesn't has worry about it as compared to the Alchemy mission.
But he has to learn the design on the weapon so before going to rest he started to simulation of refining the weapons.

Jian didn't had to go through the simulation for many times. In only few time he was able to successfully refine the weapon without collapsing the design.
He immediately went on to the next Weapon which was heavy Sword. This type of Sword required heavy ores and the design was also large.
The process was similar it just that the design was large as compared to other weapons.
After that he went to long sword and and short sword. It was similar to the normal sword but the difference was in there sizes.
He had trouble refining this weapons in simulation but after few tries he had learned haw to refine.
Then he started the simulation of the shield, this is for the first time he is refining shield. He had seen several shields in the Soaring Cloud Pavilion but they were quite old.
Most cultivators don't prefer shield as there weapon.
Even though it was one of the simplest weapon to refine. It was quite hard to balance it. Because the shield to graded as One Star weapon have to be able to survive attacks several times.
The shield should be sturdy and in life and death situation it should be able to save the cultivators life.
So that's why many cultivators don't buy the shield and if they buy the shield then they should have guaranteed that the shield will be able to save there life in difficult situation.
So for the mission Jian had to create a proper shield. The process of refining is easy but it takes time and patience to refine the shield.
When Jian started the simulation t would collapse every time he would try to temper the shield. Meaning that it was not tempered from every direction equally.
So he had start all over again. He failed multiple times but Finally he was able to refine a shield in the simulation but still after few minutes it Collapsed.
Jian didn't continue on the shield and decided thatbhe will focus on it tomorrow because simulation and reality is different. So he had enough confidence that he will be able to refine a proper shield.
After that he finally focused on the last weapon which was most harder to refine and he didn't had any confidence in refining it. It was gauntlets.
He chose this weapon because he had to refine this for Su Xiaobo as he is adept in body type cultivation technique and Martial arts technique.
So the gauntlets would proper weapons for him to use. So he thought of refining for the mission and then he can refine the proper gauntlets for Su Xiaobo.
The process of the refining was very hard because he had to structure the ore in shape of a hand. He has to use a malleable ore which can be shaped easily.
So the most difficult process was to shape the weapon properly otherwise the whole structure will collapse.
He tried few time but he was not getting gang of it. He activated star Gaze to see if he was missing anything else but still he failed to successfully refine the weapon.

He went to bath innthe stream near the cave and after that he flew to the Weaponsmith Hall. He is going start refining his weapons.
He reached the Weapon Smith Hall and saw that Yu Yue was cultivating on the second floor. He didn't disturb her and directly went to the top floor.
He immediately told the system to call out the Chaos Cauldron. It was the same Cauldron he used for refining the pills.
With the help of this he just need to focus of refining the weapons and adjust the temperature.
