He had already refined this weapon for multiple time so he it didn't took him longer for him to refine the weapon.

Now he decided to rest and run the similar of refining the Daggers. Even though he himself didn't refined the weapon. He has taught the design to Yu Yue.
But he still decided to go through the simulation so that he doesn't make any mistakes in refining the weapon.
After going through the simulation he decided to start the refining. He started very slow because he didn't wanted to make any mistakes.

As he had expected he was not able to refine the shield on the first try. The mold was not able to hold for longer and it Collapsed.
Jian was unsuccessful in the first try. He had already expected this so he was not worried about it. He calmed himself and started refining again.
This time he did every process slowly but mold was not able to hold on when he started to temper.
So he was unsuccessful in his second try. He was also exhausted. Now he knew what problems were there in refining the shield so he rested and went through the process once again.
After a while he once again started to refine the shield. This time he was confident that he would be able to successfully refine the shield.
But still he concentrate and used his star Gaze. With this he was able to control the mold and start the tempering of the shield.
The process continues for one hand half hour and finally Jian ended it with quenching the shield. He had already activated his star Gaze So he was able to see that the shield he refined was ore than adequate and the sect tower will accept it.
After he kept it in the inventory and decided to rest. He was continuing using his Qi to temper the shield for an hour so he was exhausted.
Now only one weapon was remaining and it the hardest weapon Jian had ever tried to refine. He didn't had any confidence in refining it so if he can't refine after using five sets of materials he would chose other weapon to submit to the sect tower.

His confidence in about refine this weapon was decreasing. But still after going through the simulation he started to refine the gauntlets.
He couldn't even start shaping the ore according to the mold before he collapsed. He first try was unsuccessful.
He cleaned the cauldron a once again started. But the shaping of the weapon was lot harder than he imagined.
The ore he was using was very Malleable so he had to concentration harder to control it into shape.
His second try was also unsecured after cleaning the cauldron he rested. Because the burden was doubled he was completely exhausted after trying twice.
But the second try was very beneficial because he was able to feel that he has started to understand how that gauntlets can be shaped.
So instead of doing the simulation he started to recall the failed attempts of the refining. After a while he understood where he had made the mistakes.
He started once again, this time he was doing every process very slowly but still while shaping the gauntlets the mold collapsed.
Jian didn't worry about it because he has finally found what he was doing wrong even though he has wasted three sets of materials.
He didn't waste time and started to attempt for the fourth time. He extracted the essence on the ore slowly and then he created the mold and started to shape the gauntlets.
But at the end of the process the shape of the gauntlets was distorted. So his fourth attempt of refining the gauntlets was unsuccessful.
But he was very happy because he was able to shape the gauntlets. So he decided to rest for the last attempt of refining the gauntlets.
He was not confident that he can refine the gauntlets. So after resting and recovering to top condition he started to final attempt of refining the weapon.
Everything went normal as Jian continued to refine the weapon. He only had to concentrate shaping the weapon. He did have a trouble at the last step but he was able to control it..
Finally Jian had finished refining the gauntlets and after that he checked them with Star Gaze and then kept them in inventory.
He was finally done with the weapon smith mission from the Sect tower he had successfully refined ten weapons. Now he was done with all five missions from the Sect tower.
He had already refined ten different pills to complete the Alchemy mission. He has Appraised ten items in the Appraiser Tower.
And now he hand complete refinement of the ten weapons. He had already completed one mission when he got the mission board.
The only remaining mission was to submit a three star Herb or its seed to the sect tower. Jian didn't had to worry about this because he had more than enough seeds to submit.
So had completed all sect tower's mission. As long as he submits them five sect tower missions will be completed and then his sect will be ready for a an upgrade.
Now only few things were remaining for Jian to do so that from his side everything will be ready. He just have to pass two star examination in both Alchemy and weapons smith then the only thing remaining to do will be a sect war and disciples reaching foundation building realm.
