Su Ran, on the other hand, had an odd look on her when she heard her son’s abbreviated answer.
“Su Han.”
“Ahem. Resolved means it’s been resolved. How it was done was not important……” Su Han looked away unnaturally when stared at by Su Ran as he said stubbornly.

Su Han did not want Su Ran to find out that the Lu guy was the one who did all of the word.

If that was the case, he would feel that Lu Shao was very useless.
However, Su Han suspected that the guy did that all on purpose!
Even though Su Han had a trust-me-nothing-had-happened nonchalant look on him the entire trip, but, what was that saying? It takes a mother to know her son.
Judging from the way that her son didn’t really want to engage with her, Su Ran had an idea that Su Han was not involved in the resolution.

“What is it?” Su Han said in a deep voice, as though annoyed by her incessant calling.
“Are you sure there’s nothing that you want to tell me?” Su Ran blinked at her son as she asked.
Hearing that, Su Han was taken aback a little and he quickly turned his head away from her.
“No, nothing, “said Su Han with a frown.
At this moment in time, the boy was very torn.
He debated long and hard whether to tell her what Lu Shao had done and what had transpired online.
He had no idea how she would take it when she found out.
Shock? Infuriated? Or… happy?
Su Han lowered his eyes and tightened his lips. He contemplated possible reactions from Su Ran.
A few of her possible reactions made him frown. He wasn’t sure he would be able to handle them.
Oh, nevermind, the Lu guy was the one who started this and he should be the one who explain himself to Su Ran. Why did he need to concern himself about that?
“Are you sure?” asked Su Ran one more time as she looked at the troubled look on Su Han that he couldn’t even begin to hide.
“Yes, I am sure.” Having said that, he still looked away with a guilty conscience.
“Em, I am going to go back to my homework now.”

The corners of Su Ran’s lips twitched when she looked at the closed door next to hers.
Oh, Son, do you need to run that fast even though you are hiding some secrets from me?
Su Ran decided to ask Lu Shao when she saw him later.
She had an inkling that, whatever it was, it had to do with Lu Shao.
“They had only been staying with each other for a few days……” grumbled Su Ran softly to herself.

Su Ran tried to search under “Su Ran” and noticed that with the exception of anything that were related to this competition, there were nothing else.
And, of course, there was a new label after her name: Wife of the Lu’s patriarch.
