Hearing Lu AnLing laugh at her, Lu Xinya felt her world stop and in this split second, the woman didn't breathe nor think, she just turned to Lu AnLing and glared.
"What's so funny?" Lu Xinya said with disgust.
"You of course." Lu AnLing didn't hold herself back. She answered as soon as Lu Xinya had asked. "You've always been a major bitch, Xinya, why don't you deal with it."

"Lu AnLing, watch what you say!" Lu Yimo screamed, glaring at the girl, while one of Lu Yimo's hands stroking Lu Xinya's back.
Seeing this Lu AnLing just laughed. "Why? I'm just saying the truth. If the truth hurts her that much then tough luck. Life is hard and people won't always cater to your little princess over there. If You keep spoiling and sheltering her, she's never going to survive this cruel cruel world"
Hearing this, Lu Yimo opened her mouth and sighed with disbelief. It was obvious that Lu AnLing was insinuating something but, how did Lu AnLing know?
When Lu Xinya was young, the girl was not very good at singing so Lu Yimo used to bribe Lu Xinya's way to the top. This was something the relatives didn't quite know about since Lu Xinya's voice wasn't bad, but when Lu AnLing came, due to the girl's talents, the difference between them was quickly revealed and it destroyed Lu Xinya.
Lu AnLing was not at fault. The girl was just a good singer. She had never meant to do any wrong but this had broken Lu Xinya's heart.
However, since the girl was so self-centred, she believed that Lu AnLing had somehow won, not because of her talents, but other reasons. This was the beginning of Lu AnLing and Lu Xinya's 'rivalry'.
Lu Yimo knew why Lu Xinya hated Lu AnLing but Lu Yimo was never willing to tell her daughter that, concerning singing, she had lied to the girl, all her life.
Lu Yimo: "You... how dare you... stop talking at once or else!"
Lu AnLing cocked her head and leaned cheekily on the table. "Or else what?"
Grandpa Lu watched the whole scene silently but he could no longer handle it anymore. To him, Lu AnLing was out of line. "Lu AnLing, stop this at once. You're not acting as someone befitting of the shares you were given."
Lu AnLing looked at the man innocently. "Stop what? Telling the truth?"
Grandpa Lu: "I'm serious, stop or else we will rethink the Will!"
Hearing this, Lu Xinya peeked at Lu AnLing beyond her crocodile tears.
Seeing this, Lu AnLing rolled her eyes.
Lu AnLing: "Sorry grandpa, but like grandma said, you have NO say in the dividing of the shares but If you want to try kicking me out of the family, go ahead. I dare you."
Lu AnLing's eye did not stray from the old man.
As she said this, no one else said a word. Not even Grandma Lu. No one could believe what Lu AnLing had just said. Not even Lu Xia, who was usually so forward.
Grandpa Lu: "What has gotten into you!?"

For starters, I know you don't like me very much, though neither does the grand majority of our relatives. I'm not sure why but what can I say, my father always told me that when people shine, there were always going to be people trying to put them down. Which is a shame since before I left, I really wanted for you to like me. I tried so hard but in the end... that was all a waste."
Hearing what the girl had said, Grandpa Lu was quiet for a moment trying to process what she had just said but for some reason, he couldn't. All that he felt was anger.
Meanwhile, with the mention of Tang Yian, Lu Xiaoling's heart tightened slightly. Lu Xiaoling could only imagine what Lu AnLing must have felt like mentioning him...

Lu AnLing: "If I must give it to a woman, then Shuya can have it."
Grandma Lu nodded as Lu Jiayi's face went pale. She was angry but she was more disappointed than anything else. In one moment, Lu AnLing had destroyed her possibility of getting the company and the Lu family home. Even if Lu Xinya were to give her her shares it would not nearly be enough...
