Suddenly, Ling Xi appeared above them. "I think you'd better not kill him, Ling Yun."

Minutes later, Ling Xi had withdrawn her hand, and she spoke to Ling Yun. "This time, I didn't alter his memories so the demons wouldn't suspect him, but he will die instantly if he dares to betray you."
"Well, that's good." Lin Yun then ordered Lucian. "Return to the demon realm right now, and you don't have to worry about your daughter."
Lucian nodded and turned to his daughter. "I will return right away, and I will tell your mother that you are fine here."
"Yes, Father." Kate hugged her father briefly, and Lucian quickly left the house.
