“Oh dear, that sounds tough,” said Clarina, casually offering Roni a chair.
“I ended up agreeing to meet him.”

Roni was irritated by Clarina’s nonchalant tone but tried not to show it.
“What’s good about it? He’s probably just trying to get close to Mei or Linos through me. I have no interest in such an ambitious person.”
“Is that so?”
“Yes. If he truly loved me, why wouldn’t he approach me directly? Why involve Chiwan… I don’t like it.”
“But, why not meet him once? You might be surprised.”

“I think Mei is right,” Rico said after her examination, adjusting her clothes.
