The problem that currently plagued Zan Fu and Braedon was the fact that they had to face a group of people numbering up to the tens of thousands. Although their teamwork and strength was not as impressive as Braedon and Zan Fu's friends, they had the overwhelming advantage in number.
Braedon flipped over a person who charged at him and landed behind them. Once he landed, Braedon pulled out a knife, from a scrabbled at his side, and plunged it deep into the stranger's back. The man screamed out and fell to his knees as his life force faded away.
Just a short distance away, Zan Fu summoned another heavy sword from his little pocket dimension and slammed it down in the middle of a group of people. He was able to refill the storage after ordering a third set of weapons to be made. After destroying the first two sets, he basically spent the last bit of money he had left in order to make the third. Zan Fu was incredibly pissed about this and swore to himself that he would take better care of his collection.
Just as he was thinking this, one of the soldiers ran in and slammed his mace down into the flat end of the blade. A small cracked formed immediately and Zan Fu turned to the assailant with murder in his eyes. He pushed out his hand and stabbed it into the man's chest only to pull it out with the man's beating heart in Zan Fu's hand.
With a grunt, the heart was crushed within his palms with ease and thrown to the side. All of the enemy soldiers who saw this immediately turned around and ran away screaming, while everyone who was on Zan Fu's side thanked whoever they believed in that he was on their side. Zan Fu marched onward to Braedon who was doing something even more sickening than Zan Fu's actions.
Braedon sliced the the limbs off of one person and used the spear, that the enemy used as a weapon, to impale these body parts. He then proceeded to stab these into the ground, creating some sort of strange warning totem. The warning that it gave everyone was pretty obvious too, so some of the soldiers turned around to find other people to kill. The braver ones raised up their weapons in defiance and continued their march toward the group. They never even reach Braedon's attacking range as Kai Jun came out of nowhere and ripped their heads off with his bare hands.
Many of the warriors here belonged to sects and schools. Because of this, they were not used to the violence of the battlefield. Whenever these type of people were provoked a bit, they would run off screaming for their life. it took some time, but finally Shu Rong found a way that they could sneak into the Shadow Guild's main base. It was a small old tunnel that seemed a little out of place for a place like the guild's headquarter. The mystery of why the tunnel was there became evident as a stream of semi-solid dark brown objects came floating right next to them. Their pace quickened into a run after that event occurred.
They followed Shu Rong's instructions and after an entire hour, a hand popped out of the ground In the guild headquarters. Rocks and rubble flew everywhere as Braedon used the feather to expand the hole in order to get everyone out. Zan Fu came out after Braedon left and whispered to him, "What the hell were you thinking? What if there was someone around where we popped up? We would've lost the element of surprise then!"
Braedon hovered his finger over his lips to signal to Zan Fu to quiet down. Zan Fu rolled his eyes in response. Yi Ling scanned the area around them and noticed that the building was suspiciously empty. While they all found his a little weird, the group didn't care too much as they decided to just keep moving forward. They spent some time exploring the building and taking different paths, that usually led to dead ends, until they finally found an out of place door.
It was a large iron door with strange markings and symbols carved into it. A strange aura came from the room on the other side and Zan Fu couldn't help but ask, "Is this the sacrificial chambers where Phoen plans to devour the souls?"
Shu Rong and Yi Ling both shrugged their shoulders while Braedon tried to inspect the door and find out. Kai Jun on the other hand said, "Yeah it is." Zan Fu looked directly at Lai Jun and asked, "How can you tell?" His response was to point at a piece of paper stuck to the bottom corner of the giant door. It said, "Sacrificial Chamber use for absorbing souls in use, please do not disturb."
"Oh c'mon! This has to be a trap!" Zan Fu exclaimed while Shu Rong almost fell backwards from shock of how stupid this appeared. Braedon just shrugged and ripped the note off the door. He then proceeded to grab at its handle and pull. The gates began to open in order to reveal a gigantic room with a large black altar all the way in the back. Right in front of the altar was a single cauldron that contained boiling water and inside of the cauldron was...Braedon.
Everybody looked back and forth between the Braedon in the cauldron and the one right next to them. after comparing the two, they could confirm that Phoen really did have Braedon's body. Braedon on the other hand just looked annoyed at the person who stole his literal being. Oddly enough, he wasn't completely overwhelmed in anger, just annoyed.
When all of them took a step forward in order to confront Phoen. A dark shadow fell from the ceiling all of a sudden and landed right in front of them. It was the secretary girl who was with Phoen the time he broke into Zan Fu's house.
Yi Ling gave off a sigh as she said, "I knew it wouldn't be this easy."
The woman stood up and faced them with a menacing glare. As she gazed at each and every person, her eyes became a bit more gentle when they landed on Braedon. But soon after they became a murderous glance again, "None if you will disturb Phoen when he is about to complete his plan!"
Kai Jun stepped up in front of the woman and opened his mouth in preparation to say something. No one knew what he was going to say, but they listened closely in case Kai Jun would somehow get some useful information from the secretary.
"Why did you come down from the ceiling?"
The secretary paused in surprise from the unexpected question, "W-what?"
"Why did you come from the ceiling? Wouldn't it have been easier if you just stood in front of the door and waited to see if anyone would open it?" Kai Jun restated his question while crossing his arms in an imposing manner.
The secretary began to fidget nervously while saying, "Well it adds a sort of surprise factor and also it makes ambushing people who enter easier..."
"Yet you hopped on down and directly confronted us, instead of sneaking around and taking us down in the shadows."
"Well I-I was surprised by the new visitors!" At this point the woman looked back and forth between the cauldron and the group in front of her. She twiddled her thumbs a bit as she responded in a shaky voice.
Kai Jun rubbed his chin for a few seconds before a look of realization appeared in his eyes, "...W-where you spying on Phoen bathing?"
The secretary froze in place and didn't answer the question. All she did was stand there and chuckle with a perverted grin on her face. Braedon heard and saw all of this happen right in front of him. He brought his arms around and covered his chest as well as his private areas tightly. A creepy and uncomfortable feeling crawled down his spine every time he glanced at the lady's face.
Kai Jun shrugged and grabbed at and orb that was floating around him. The orb manifested into a skin-tight leather suit that covered his body. "{Rhinoceros Suit}." Immediately afterwords, Braedon and the others prepared themselves for battle.

Mei Lin and the Divine Man faced each other without making a single move. While to the outsider it looked like they were just floating there and doing nothing, in reality they were already fighting one another. The aura of Mei Ling and the Divine Man were clashing together like invisible blade. They continuously achieved a draw, so Mei Ling finally decided to change the battle up a little.
"Aren't you a little bored with everything that we've been doing? Let's kick this up a notch!" She shot head first into the Divine Man and knocked back a short distance, before he regained his balance. The man scoffed at Mei Ling as he too flew over and brought out a large sword out of nowhere. He swung it towards her with enough force to blow away the warriors fighting behind Mei Ling after she dodged, although none of them died thanks to Zan Rong catching each of them.
The battle raged in with Mei Ling bringing out a spear and with a shout, she rushed in for the kill.
