As Shi Li was walking beside Moddy through the inner depths, he was trying to remember the items needed for the storage function.
'Hmmm...if I remember correctly, I would need 5 Grade E beast corpses, 1 log of Ruin Forest Wood and 40% of my mental energy. Was it 30? White Screen, what's the price I need to pay for the first level of storage?'
A semi-transparent screen appeared in front of Shi Li, to which Moddy exclaimed in surprise.
"Nya! What's that-nya?! It looks like some sort of plate floating in front of your face-nya!"
Shi Li turned his head towards Moddy and asked out of surprise as he pointed to the screen in front of him.
"You...can see this?"
Moddy nodded its neckless head as it said, "Nya. Does it do anything special-nya?"
Shi Li thought about for a while and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't really know if it's special because I'm not the only one capable of using it."
He said this as he was sure the other people who inherited the bloodline from the primogenitor would have the same power as well, albeit used differently.
"I see-nya..." Moddy pondered for a bit before looking in front of their path through the inner depths. "Well, don't bother with me-nya. Go and continue doing your thing-nya."
Shi Li lightly smiled as he looked back at the screen in front of him. "Thanks."

An attendant hurriedly opened the door to Shi Xingwan's office as he yelled out, "Patriarch, patriarch! We have bought one pill!"
Shi Xingwan who was signing papers, instantly placed the papers aside and looked at the attendant with surprise. "That fast?"
After the day Shi Li left, the Red Dawn Pavillion publicized that they would be selling the Shackle Ascension Pill that day. In an instant, the three great clans and the other smaller clans hurriedly pooled all their gold and bought any pill they could get, fearing that other clans might get one first.
Shi Xingwan was smart enough to put an attendant on guard in front of the Red Dawn Pavillion with gold coins on hand, just in case these things happen.
"What grade did you get?" Shi Xingwan asked with curiosity. If he could get an exquisite grade pill, it might be of great help to his problem.
"Answering patriarch, I was able to get a refined grade version of the pill but it cost over two thousand gold coins. I apologize to the patriarch for wasting that much money," the attendant answered as he kneeled down, begging for forgiveness.
Shi Xingwan ordered the attendant to stand up, as buying a refined grade pill is already a good thing. He then asked the attendant to hand over the pill, to which the attendant did so.
He looked at the pill that was somewhat yellow in color. It was translucent, reflecting the sunlight with ease. With his qi, he could see that the pill had a strong yet easy to control energy within it, which was definitely suited for breaking through a gate.
In the end, Shi Xingwan sighed. This wasn't the type of pill he needed. The energy he needed from a pill was gentle and calm, since fixing a broken energy core would need extreme detail.
He gave the pill back to attendant, which resulted to a stupefied look.
"Patriarch, what...?" The attendant didn't expect that the patriarch wouldn't consume it.
Shi Xingwan pondered for a bit before replying as he waved his hand. "Give the pill to Shi Xingtai. He's at peak Creation realm, which would give him an even higher chance of breaking through the Ascended Mortal realm than I would. Just tell him that the pill is a Shackle Ascension Pill from the Patriarch and he'll know what to do."
The attendant was enlightened as he bowed respectfully before leaving the office. "This attendant shall do what the patriarch says."
The patriarch nodded back as he put the papers in front of him.

After twenty minutes of walking around the inner depths, they were able to find a beast at the Second Stage of Skin Tempering.
"Man, there are a few beasts at the Second Stage of Skin Tempering here in the inner depths. Is there any reason?" Shi Li looked at Moddy, expecting an answer.
"Nya, that's because beasts of a higher realm flock here more often than on the outskirts-nya. Becoming strong enough to combat the barrier I made and conquering the center area, that's their dream-nya," Moddy replied.
Shi Li couldn't understand how a barrier made by a small cat at the Third Stage of Skin Tempering could scare beasts at an even higher realm than the cat.
'It's probably due to the special effects of the Ruin Forest Wood,' Shi Li hypothesised.
Shi Li then urged Moddy to go up the branch, since Shi Li was sure Moddy wanted to test the drums' effects. Shi Li on the other hand, would hide behind the tree Moddy was on top of, waiting for Moddy to act before he would attack the beast.
Raising its paws up, it slammed down on the drums with great force as it shouted, "[Enhancement Waltz]!"
In an instant, Shi Li felt that his abilities were boosted by a great extent. He even felt that the amount of power he could release was doubled, even more with his [Overlimit] skill.
The beast heard the drum and turned around, finding Shi Li who was basking in the feeling of growing stronger in an instant. The beast roared as it charged towards him.
"Shi Li-nya! Watch out!" Moddy exclaimed.
Shi Li who heard the statement was jolted back to reality, and hurriedly dodged the attack...with surprising ease.
"Eh?" Shi Li felt as if nature was one with him as he moved. All of a sudden, a weird thought filled his mind.
'What if I used...Heaven's Waltz as moves for attacks?'
Shi Li took multiple steps to expand the gap between him and the beast. He then looked at Moddy and shouted, "Bind it!"
"Nya! [Harmony Bind]!" Moddy beat on the drums once more, shooting out a ray of light which tangled itself around the beast, rendering the beast immobile as it roared at both Shi Li and Moddy, wanting to bite them into pieces.
Shi Li ignored the beast's roars and visualized the Heaven's Waltz in his mind. Afterwards, he charged towards the beast at breakneck speeds.
"Nya nya! Too fast nya!" Moddy was surprised that Shi Li could move so fast.
Taking a deep breath in, Shi Li stopped his charge just a few centimeters away from the beast as he converted that running energy to power as he punched at certain areas of the beast.
"[Heaven's Waltz: First Movement]!"
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Four loud explosions could be heard as Shi Li punched out towards the beast. The first explosion rendered the beast's ribcage crushed, the second explosion broke the beast's spine, the third explosion burst the beast's heart, and the fourth and last explosion turned the beast's brain into mush. In just one move, the beast was dead internally. Externally, it had no injuries whatsoever.
Shi Li looked at his fists and then at the beast. "What the..."
Moddy looked at Shi Li with awe as it said, "Nya! That was awesome-nya!"
Shi Li felt that as he used the Heaven's Waltz as an attack move, with the help of the Enhancement Waltz from Moddy, the power of his attack was increased by multiplefold.
'This combo...is definitely terrifying.'
