Summoning the head of his intelligence department, he gave him instructions to keep a close eye on Sharlin and her group. He didn't trust that woman one bit, the apple did not fall far from that poisonous tree[1] he thought to himself.

Once the head of intelligence left, Ren summoned his trusted advisers together to inform them of the news about Shaolin.

The meeting dragged on for quite some time, as everyone was excited about the news, but there were some advisers who were worried about what the impact would be on the Demon realm once the other races returned with divine weapons. The demons weren't naive enough to believe that the others races would return from Shaolin empty handed

The other problem that became quite apparent during the meeting was that they had little knowledge about the lost world, their knowledge was mostly based on legends and stories. With little to no accurate information, Ren couldn't make further plans. So after the meeting ended Ren visited the royal library.

While it was pretty late in the evening, the head librarian was still busy at his desk. Looking up the old demon quickly stood up and bowed down.

"Evening your Majesty" he greeted Ren.

"Evening Uggor" Ren replied, waving for Uggor to stand up.

"You are here pretty late Sire, is there anything that I may help you with?"

"Hmmm, do we have any scrolls on Shaolin?"

"Shaolin?" Uggor was really surprised that his king would request scrolls on the lost world, he couldn't remember the last time anyone had inquired about Shaolin.

"Yes" Ren replied

"Er.. there are some scrolls here Sire, but most are stored away in the archives"

"Bring me the scrolls you have in the library, and send someone to fetch all the scrolls we have in the archives, I want everything we have on Shoalin" Ren ordered.

Then walking over to a desk he sat down and waited for Uggor to bring him the scrolls.

Seeing that his king was waiting for him, Uggor quickly hurried to the back of the library and pulled out some scrolls that were stored away. He had been in charge of the library since Ren's father was in power, and he knew where every scroll was stored.

Bringing the scrolls over to Ren, he placed them down gently, then handing Ren some Golden Ant silk weaved gloves he said: "These scrolls are very old Sire, and require delicate handling"

Even if it was his king looking through the scrolls, Uggor would still protect these precious scrolls with his life.

Smiling gently at how protective Uggor was over "his" scrolls, Ren took the Golden Ant silk weaved gloves and put them on. Then with Uggor watching him anxiously he very gently opened the first scroll and started to read.

Seeing that his king was treating his precious scrolls correctly, Uggor left to summon his assistants to gather the rest of the scrolls in the archives.

Ren spent the whole night reading through all the scrolls, he was pleasantly surprised at how much information his predecessors had acquired.

With the information in hand, he began to make plans.

Although tired, Ren and his advisers got together to discuss the new information gathered, from what his predecessors had recorded, Shoalin was a special realm created by the creators for gifted youngsters, and only people under the age of hundred years old who had achieved king level would be permitted through the barrier.

This was pretty good news as besides from the humans in the lower realms, all the other races were slow breeders, it was a balance that was naturally kept on Doha, as you can well imagine if the elder races on Doha we as proliferate as the humans in the lower realms with their extremely long lives just how overpopulated the world of Doha would have been.

While the other races would have more qualified youngsters than the Demons, it shouldn't be too much of a disadvantage, in the past couple of hundred years, under the careful rule of Ren, and his protection of the demoness, quite a few male demons had been born, although to Ren's great distress no demoness had been born yet.

"I want a list of every single demon under the age of fifty, on my desk before sunset" he ordered one of the elders.

"Right now our priority is to ensure that most of our resources will be given to these youngsters"

"Oglemir, you will be responsible for arranging lodging and training facilities"

"Garzor, I want the best trainers we have available in the capital within a month"

"Ekoros, you are to arrange the beast tamers, every single one of those children must have the best possible spirit beast"

"Dar'on, you will be in charge of kitting those youngsters out, get our best weaponsmiths working on it"

"Junnik, I need a full supply list of what aura and spirit stones we have available, from now onwards all supply of aura stones will go through you, only if we have an oversupply of stones may you sell them, our children come first"

As Ren barked out his orders, each elder named quickly took his leave and hurried to get working on the tasks given to them.

After ensuring that each of his orders was carried out, Ren retired to his study, the next couple of days were going to be hectic.
