And with the voice arrived a muscular, tall man.
There were five other well-built and muscular men that stepped up next to them.
Maybe a magician in the mix as well.
They were smiling, but I could tell their eyes weren’t.
I saw all the merchants’ faces stiffen.
「W…what are you?」
「N…no…we…」
They were trying to explain off why they were buying.
Seems the Demon Lord’s wholesaler had arrived, earlier than expected.
Cruz turned around and laughed, saying,
「We’re selling goods! You can leave it to the Wolf’s Wholesalers!」
「…oh?」
「Seems there’s not enough supplies here in Elkay.」
「Did you get the okay from the town agent?」
Seems that this wholesaler had gotten a license from him.
Of course, he was a zombie, so it was just an okay from the Demon Lord.

「You think you are gonna get away with all those illegal purchases?」
「W…WE’RE SORRY!」
We then saw the wholesaler leave with someone I think was his magician.
So I yelled,
「Don’t think anyone’s left in the castle!」
「WhaaA?」
The wholesaler spun and I could see he was a bit scared.
I had flattened all his muscle boys to the ground in a second.
「The wolf destroyed that idiot who thought he was the Demon Lord.」
「There’s no way…」
「Way…」
「A demon can’t be defeated that easily…」
「A demon or even a demon lord can’t win against the wolf!」
Cruz said, giggling.
「It’s impossible…」
「So you knew about the demon as well? Can’t let you get away with it now…」
「Y…you fool! Get him!」
The wholesaler’s magician got to work.
He fired a chantless fireball at me…must be a decent magician.
「NO FIREBALLS IN TOWN!」
Cruz had run forward and grabbed the fireball in her right hand,

And while grabbing it, slammed it into the magician’s throat as she grabbed his neck. He fell limp and blood ran down his neck from the strength of her grip.
「These houses might burn…it would be a shame!」
Vi-Vi said, chiding.
Maybe she remembered the time she fought Luka and burned my house down.
「E…EEEK!」
The wholesaler screeched, and fled.
And it IS really dangerous to use a fireball in the middle of town.
