Opening his backplate’s storage compartment, Chen Yu removed some of the rubble he collected from Proxima Centauri b. He then chiseled off some samples from the meteorite and stored them.
One minute later, the storage compartment was full once more. And after undergoing strict decontamination, he returned to the spacecraft’s cabin.

After setting aside the heavy storage compartment, Chen Yu rubbed his slightly numb shoulders. He then faced the camera and said, “I made a mistake in my initial prediction. There is no alien civilization here. This means that the blue orb I encountered before most likely originates from outside the Alpha Centauri system. Simply put, this interstellar trip wasn’t as profitable as we expected. However, this is also an understandable result. After all, the universe is a very empty place.
