Stella walked closer to Leo and Tiana. She held out the bags to Tiana. "This is for you, Tiana." She placed the bags on the ground and took a few steps back.
Tiana gave Leo a hug and got off his lap she slowly walked up to the bags. She took the bags from the ground and opened them. She pulled out the plushies and dropped the bags she ran to Stella and hugged her leg. "Auntie got these for Tiana?"
"Yes, I got these for you. I wanted you to not be afraid of me. I didn't mean to scare you in the beginning but I understand why you were scared of me." Stella smiled down at the girl.
"Tiana is a little scared still but Tiana trusts Auntie. Thank you for the plushies." Tiana let go of Stella and went to Cindy, "Thank you as well, Auntie. You drove a lot today. Are you tired?"
Cindy hugged Tiana and smiled, "I am tired but this trip was worth it. You need a bath and to get ready for bedtime. Come let's go have a bath and we will get ready for sleep."
"Okay, Tiana will go with Auntie and get ready for bedtime." She waited for Cindy to stand up and followed Cindy like a little chick.
Cindy picked up a small bag that had the bathroom toiletries and leads Tiana up the stairs.
Luke watched them leave and sighed, "that was a long trip but she did well for her first outing I would not be surprised if they both pass out."
Sylvie watched and smiled, "It seemed that you have finally been accepted, Stella. Good work. Ketan and Kitty are both asleep."
"Thank you, Sylvie. It is rather unnatural for them both to fall asleep after everything that happened today. So I can only conclude that you did something but they need to rest so I will not complain." Leo sat back on the couch and relaxed.
"Would you like me to do the same for you?" Sylvie watched as Leo relaxed.
"What did you do to them?" Luke got up and picked up the bags that Tiana dropped earlier. He took out the plushies to cut off all the tags and placed them on the table.
"I helped both of them fall asleep. They both needed rest and so I gave them a helping hand with that. If I did not do that to Kitty she would stay awake fighting her sleep and she needs to remember that she is not alone anymore. That girl is a fool." Sylvie shook her head and watched Luke cutting all the tags off the plushies.
"No, thank you. I need to stay sharp I know that you and Emerson are going to stay awake but I am used to long nights. There is too much information that I need to process. I think I have learned too much in such a short time." Leo kept his eyes closed and thought about everything.
Emerson sat down on the couch next to Leo, "you know there is still a lot for you to learn. I know that you heard some of our story. There is a lot in this world that does not make sense. Like why the twins are born and one is more powerful than the other." He shook his head then turned and saw Luke looking at him. "Yes, Luke?"
"I am not sure what is going on but I must say that I think that it is normal that one twin is stronger since the stronger one should be there to protect the weaker half." Luke finished everything that was needed to be done and moved all the treats into one bag and set it aside.
"Normally I would agree with you, Luke. I think in our case it is different. Both me and Ketan have been alive for a while. Thankfully it has not been much of a power struggle. Ketan is hands down stronger. A vampire is supposed to live forever, but…" Sylvie looked up sharpy at the stairs.
Ketan came down the stairs, "you will not die. I will not allow you to die. I was tired but my body seems to think that I should not sleep. Your magic is no longer effective on me. I am not sure if that is because I have found someone that I desire or not, but Sylvie you will not die. I know that my powers are overwhelming and that it is hard on you in our twin bond but I do not want you to die just because I got a partner."
"I've told you that it will not kill me besides I have been weakening for a while now. You should be able to feel that, Ketan. You should remember that it was because it was unnatural that I was born to begin with." Sylvie raised her voice and glared at Ketan as he came into the living room.
Ketan froze and turned around, "but you were and if you were not born I wouldn't have survived." He glanced over his shoulder and then disappears from everyone's sight.
"Are you sure you should talk like that to him? Are you trying to make things harder for him?" Leo looked at Sylvie who was red in the face.
"This is a normal fight between the two of them. Kitty usually would deescalate the situation," Sylvie sighed, "here's the thing, He is I and I am he. We are woven from the same cloth when one gains more powers the other weakens. It was a power struggle in the beginning but after some time I slowly was losing the struggle but I got a partner. So I was spared."
Luke looked at Sylvie confused and curiously. "How could having a partner help?"
"That is easy for me to explain. Sylvie go to your brother. I would hate for your quarrel to affect you." Emerson looked at Sylvie who seemed a bit torn on what to do.
"Thank you, I will be back." Sylvie thought about her link to Ketan and disappeared from their sight.
