The carriage was not needed today so it was still sitting where it was parked, being maintained by the servants. Shen Tianyu looked longingly at her wolf spiritual beats's back as they walked to the entrance of the compound. ;
"Xue Lng, would riding on your back be more comfortable than riding a horse?" She spoke aloud despite not needing to, being more used to holding conversations that way. Also, her companion wouldn't be able to hear their thoughts so he should know beforehand that they're having a conversation and that she's not going crazy.
" Hey! I'm not a horse nor some kind of ride! Don't even think about it! " It growled at her from behind them, baring it's canine teeth that were surprisingly clean, contrary to what it's diet would have one believe. ;
"I was just wondering... you have so much fur too so I thought it'd feel more comfortable... too bad you're too small for anyone other than a kid to ride you."She sighed in pity, not minding that it told her not to think about it.
"If you want a demonic beast to ride, I can always find one for you. I'm sure the royal family can at least get a few big enough for you." Rong Jian offered, injecting himself into the discussion.
"Hm..." She put her finger on her chin in consideration. "I don't want a spiritual beast that's just a ride though, it needs to be powerful too or else it's no different than owning a horse. In fact it'll be even more disadvantageous because I have a contract with it." She put down her lowest requirement for a demonic beast that would double as her ride.
