"She's allowed in the prison." Rong Jian told the captain of the guards that she has his explicit permission to enter the prison. Since she caught the outsider, she'll probably take care of that herself.
"This subject understands." The captain of the guard recieved the order and waited until he was waved off to retreat out of the room backwards and went to inform his comrades.
"Wangye, this intruder... you're not going to aid Wangfei in finding the perpretrator?" The servant that had been silent the whole time asked once the captain of the guards left.
"Tian'er is more than capable." Rong Jian went back to his work with his servant helping him move the documents.

The next day, Shen Tianyu, Bai Yaoxuan and Xue Lang all woke up without incident. Shen Tianyu had some of her servants help Bai Yaoxuan settle in while Xue Lang was in charge of guarding her. She has checked all the spiritual power levels of the servants around her. The guards had the highest, with some of them being in the Gold Core Level and even in the Late Stage, almost the same as Rong Jian. The highest level of the physical labor mamas was just Foundation Establishment while the highest level of the servants assigned to her was Meridians Level Early Stage, a few stages below her. With Xue Lang around, the servants won't be able to harm Bai Yaoxuan even if they disregarded her identity as Rong Jian's woman and their boss.
The prison itself was quite well-maintained, to Shen Tianyu's surprise. There weren't any rats and insects crawling on the floor despite the unwillingness of sunlight to travel into the space. There were a few candles interspersed throughout the walkway which the Captain lit with the large torch he had acquired from the storage shed above. Even with all the candles lit up, however, it was far from a habitable place in terms of light. There were several feet of blindness between every two candles, as if the candles were merely a passing thought and the perople that ran the place couldn;t be bothered to spend more on candles just for this place. The bars of the cells one could see with the naked eye, though, were clean, without moss or slime. Shen Tianyu approached an empty cell with her torch, smaller than the Captain's and looked inside to find that there were indeed a few cobwebs and spiderwebs at the edges of the room but the majpority of it was in acceptable living conditions. A set of bedsheets covered in dust was the only appliance within the cell. The two moved to the end of the walkway and stopped in front of the cell to their right, finding their captive curled up in the bed like a frightened child. The Captain of the guards unlocked the cell door with a set of keys from the clusmily sewed pouch, with a lopsided shape that somewhat resembled a lion or wolf in the middle, hanging from his waist which was already starting to fray. When the captive heard the clanking of keys, she started but didn;t move to escape nor look at them. The unlocking of the door didn't draw any more reactions from her either, as if she was really asleep and could not be woken up.
Shen Tianyu stepped inside the cell that was about a quarter the size of her room, walking a mere three steps before she stood right in front of the figure on the bed. The Captain of the guards stood watch right outside the door, his back to them and the bars unlocked.
