"Okay. I'm fine with that." Shen Tianyu replied immediately with a nod. Bai Yaoxuan whipped her head around to scold her for her behavior again but Shen Tianyu put a hand over hers to silence her.
The Headmaster gave a wistful sigh as he droppe dhis hands. "I am willing to let her take the exam without you having to drop out but you must answer two questions of mine, future Wangfei."
Shen Tianyu nodded again, staring straight into the Headmaster's eyes to indicate her sincerity.
"Why are you so adamant about this Young Lady attending our Chengyuan School?"
"Because she is my sworn sister and she deserves the best opportunities I can afford to give her. Her placement in her family isn't very high so I'm afraid I won't be able to protect her from bullies if she goes somewhere far. And since her standing isn't very high, other Schools might very well discriminate against her."
"Why are you willing to throw away your admission for her?"
"The answer is the same. And she should at least try to learn at an institution to see if it'll fit her needs. I'm already at Gold Core Level, I can strike out on my own if no institutions accept me but that's not the case for someone that hasn't even fully developed their dantian." Shen Tianyu's eyes started watering from not blinking for so long but she still tried to endure.
The Headmaster gave a sigh of defeat before a small smile broke on his face. He then turned to Bai Yaoxuan who had been worriedly standing on the side. "Young Miss, it is your utmost, perhaps your lifetime, fortune to be able to obtain such a dedicated and selfless sworn sister. I hope you will treasure her well."

"No, it will merely take away her ability to speak for a set duration, though it lasts longer than the exam so that's why I will have the antidote ready."
"What will you do if it causes damage to her or her cultivation?" Bai Yaoxuan tried to not sound demanding since this was a hard-won chance on her sister's part but her worry couldn't be abated so easily.
The Headmaster shrugged in his seat. "She is the one who demands you have the opportunity to take the Late Admissions Exam in your special condition. If, in the one in a hundred chance, something does happen to her as a result of the pill, she will just have to blame it on her bad luck."
Bai Yaoxuan was ready to argue back again but the woman next to her held her back. When she turned her head to glare at her, Shen Tianyu just shook her head. "It's just a pill to silence someone. If it's not done by then, I'll have one of my disciples send word. If we are done by then, you two may come to the Exam Hall, where you gathered for the regular exams, in the morning in two days time. Naturally, you will have to discuss with your instructors on how to make up for the lost knowledge for those classes. Though our Chengyuan School is loose about attendance since we believe your efforts will reflect in your rank and resources available to you so you may choose not to make it up." "So what you mean is, I won't be penalized by the instructor if I miss the class for that day." At the old man's nod, Shen Tianyu continued with her line of questioning. "Then what will happen to the missed classes Yaoyao missed due to not being enrolled, does she have to talk about that with the instructor too?"
"Indeed. Though since she will be a late admisisons student, if she passes, so she will have the special privilege of additional classes after the regular School day in order to catch up. However, this special privilege is only offered for the two weeks after the Opening Day, which is today."
"We understand. Thank you very much for granting our request, Headmaster." Shen Tianyu bowed, bringing Bai Yaoxuan down with her, who didn't resist being forced to bow. Behind the two, Rong Jian also bowed towards the old man sitting behind the table.
