"If you're going to sneak attack someone then make sure to be quiet the entire time." She advised him with an exasperated sigh.

'Well, I'll give him credit for being craftier than that fellow at least. He's not openly trying to injure someone.' She thought back to the man that had tried to injure the other female winner from her arena that she had unceremoniously thrown off the stage.

Bo Jing got up with a growl. "Damned woman, you people should just stay indoors like you've always done. What kind of shame do you think you're bringing by flaunting your faces around?"

"Ah, your male chauvinism smells toxic." Shen Tianyu wrinkled her nose in exaggeration. "I think you're the one who doesn't have shame considering everyone stays in a mother's, a woman's, womb for nine months before being birthed, sometimes at the expense of the mother's life. Unless you were born from a rock[1] or something? You don't seem to have any special ability that says so, though."

"Shut up! What right do you think you have to stand above a man?! You're all just men's servants!" Bo Jing howled as he charged forward again, swinging his sword wildly.

"Wow, I'm actually surprised even someone like you is allowed into the School. I feel sorry for your mother to have birthed something like you." Shen Tianyu casually parried his sword strikes as he kept swinging at her. A hundred blows were exchanged in an instant but unlike the enraged expression of Bo Jing, Shen Tianyu's eyebrows didn't even wrinkle.

...

"Wow, that guy is hella salty about Lingling being ahead of him, and by so much." Up in the stands, Bai Yaoxuan mumbled sarcastically.

"Well, I admit he's pretty daring to say that to a fiancee of a Wangye of Rikui Kingdom." Even Ningwu Liushan couldn't keep his calm and kind face, a wrinkle appearing between his brows. The Empress was deeply loved by the people, and though there are people with that kind of thinking, no one was stupid enough to actually voice it out so openly. Besides, the latter group was in the extreme minority as the Empress has been keeping herself behind the scenes since she married, on the surface anyways, so they don't have anything to nitpick anymore.

"Hmph. He's just an idiot. He's probably not from around here or that mouth of his would have been socked out of shape by now." Bai Longtian scoffed with his arms cross, disdain flowing out of his eyes in waves.

Rong Jian, silent as always, merely narrowed his eyes as an indecipherable glint flashed through them.

...

Bo Jing jumped away from her again, seeing that all his moves were parried. He let out a guttural growl in frustration.

Mostly in anger and partly because she was right, Bo Jing poured his spiritual energy in his blade and coated the silver length with it. He controlled it so the energy wasn't continuously flowing away from the blade but contained around it. He again got into an attack stance and dashed at her.

"Tiger Slash!" He shouted out as he swung it down.

Shen Tianyu immediately coated her body in spiritual energy along with her scabbard and blocked the attack. Two more stripes of energy barely swept past her, like a tiger's claw, making deep gashes on the ground beside her. "Wow, people actually call out attack names? That's so lame." She commented before she retracted her scabbard and swung it again and struck it against the sword coated in spiritual energy.

Clink!

The sword broke in half where her scabbard connected and it continued to swing at the stunned Bo Jing. When her strike connected with his body, he flung out like a broken kite and slammed into the wall of the stadium. Once the dust settled, his body was embedded in the wall, about five and a half chi[2] from the floor. He coughed up a mouthful of blood from the impact but was otherwise unharmed.

As Bo Jing glared at her from his place on the wall, Shen Tianyu spoke to him, clear and sarcastic from her place. "How does it feel to be beat by a woman who hasn't moved from her place since the start of the match, my dear Master?" She tapped her scabbard on the ground she stood on to emphasize her point. However, she didn't wait to see his reaction as she headed languidly over to Lun Aoman's side of the match.

Lun Aoman and Ren Ting were struggling but the former was slowly gaining the upper hand. "Need help? I don't have all day." Shen Tianyu called out as she placed her sheathed sword on her shoulder like a delinquent would a bat.

"Almost. Wait a bit more." Lun Aoman responded as the two delved into another flurry of exchanges.

Shen Tianyu rolled her eyes as she stood on the stage with nothing to do. "Ugh, if I'd known this would happen, I would have brought a chair. I'm spending so much time waiting." She complained as watched on. She could bring a chair out from her space through her Cosmo Pouch but the problem was... she doesn't have a chair even in there! She really never thought the popular Sword Tournament would be so boring so she didn't bring one along, whether it was her Cosmo Pouch or her space.

After another exchange, Lun Aoman was finally able to take advantage of a slip made by the tiring Ran Ting and kicked him off the stage, leaving their team with the victory. As soon as the hosting elder announced so and the Shield Array dissipated, students from the Medical Division rushed forward to tend to them both. Shen Tianyu had not even a scratch on her so she was abandoned soon enough but Lun Aoman was brought to the side to tend to his cuts and other wounds that he had accumulated over the fight.

[1] Journey to the West anyone? Sun Wukong? I'm not old, I swear. It's my parents.

[2] 5 1/2 Chi= 72 inches = 6 feet
