With a howl, Xue Lang blew away half of the ambushing spiritual beasts with it's pressure. It swiped it's uncovered claws and a good chunk of the remainders flew away from them. Xue Lang managed to dodge the Flaming Lion and last few ambushers. Opening it's maw wide, it bit down on the nearest one and flung it off the stage.

However, it wasn't walking unsteadily and it's head was still held high. Xue Lang trotted down the stage by itself when the round was called to an end and nudged Shen Tianyu's leg.
"Finished?" Shen Tianyu's eyes immediately flew open and she unfolded her arms, walking with him to the medical care station upon seeing his wounds.
A medical care station was set up by the Beast Taming Department's students to prevent participating students from using underhanded means like feeding their pets some strength pill while taking care of their wounds.
'No difficulty at all.' Xue Lang told her.
"Well, most of these are newborn or children. Otherwise, students that have only been learning for a month wouldn't be able to contract with them. Just don't go too far and kill or seriously injure one, or else it'll spell trouble." Shen Tianyu sat down next to Xue Lang as a senior student helped with it's scratches.
