"No, I haven't seen him on my way here... How about I send people to look for him? If you sent for him, he should be nearby."
Shen Tianyu looked older middle-aged man up and down. As if reading her mind, the old man held his hands up.
"I'm not going. I don't want to go. We finally saw each other again, how could I have the heart to separate so soon?"

Rong Jian and Bai Yaoxuan were sitting in the living room of Shen Tianyu's chamber. Shen Tianyu was sittting across from them with the older middle-aged man, albeit with an annoyed air. The middle-aged man calling himself her father was glaring at the only other male present, that being Zhu Wangye, Rong Jian.
"... Why am I sitting beside him? He's yours, isn't he?" Bai Yaoxuan asked her sister directly across from herself.
"Because he'd make a fuss otherwise." Shen Tianyu shrugged and glanced beside her to indicate who she was talking about.
"Tian'er, who is this... gentleman?" Rong Jian asked Shen Tianyu, not minding the older man's glare at all. He was about to say "old man" but managed to stop his tongue.
"If you have a question, just ask me directly, what are you sidling up to Xiao Tian[1] for?!" The older man roared, but no one paid him any mind.
"That one over here is my Master, Muo Jeng." Shen Tianyu introduced simply, not even bothering to lift her hands.

I, Muo Jeng, am not only Xiao Tian's Master, since I am not sufficient nor suitable enough to be her Master seeing that her knowledge was on my level or above even when she was just a young child... "Pft." Bai Yaoxuan turned away from them but couldn't hide the puff og laughter at seeing the old man's face turn red with rage at Zhu Wangye's seeming disregard for the other's outburst. Shen Tianyu was using her hand to hold her hand, blocking the two men's view of her face, but there was an inexplicable shaking of her shoulders. Out of the corner of her eye, Bai Yaoxuan could see Shen Tianyu's trying to push down her own laughter.
"Look, Xiao Tian, he's being mean to me. This kind of man, you shouldn't keep." Muo Jeng whined since showing his anger to the other man would just make himself pop a blood vessel instead.
"Whether it's him being mean or you bullying him, you should be the most clear on that." Shen Tianyu responded with a straight face. "Anyways, since you're here, that means the other old men have arrived too right? Where are they staying?"
"The old men wouldn't shut up about wanting to see you so they followed me here. Only a few were left to oversee... our residence. Of course, we who have a strong team spirit would never house anywhere else that's not ours. Naturally, we've made camp at Lavender." Muo Jeng puffed up his chest proudly.
"I see. Then, you can go back now." Shen Tianyu shooed him out without even trying to invite him for a meal.
"Why?! This place is big enough to house all of us! Besides, what about you? You're not staying at Lavender but living in someone else, another man's to boot, residence! Don't you know that's highly inappropriate?" Muo Jeng was careful to not raise his voice lest he angered Shen Tianyu again.
