After exchanging their greetings, the two groups started to discuss together about what level of mission they were going to take. Since they were acquainted with each other, it was better to be close by just in case. Though it was mostly the members of Shen Tianyu's group who discussed with the two Young Masters. The other two were probably intimidated to join in the conversation and Bai Yaoxuan didn't really want to intrude since she understood she was already dragging them down. Shen Tianyu just occasionally threw out suggestions but wasn't very involved otherwise. She was sure she could take what was coming as long as they took the group's abilities as a whole into consideration and don't exceed the limit.
"Oh look, there's a mission for getting rid of a hoard of Demon Rats and Ghost-faced Bees." Lun Aoman commented as he looked through the mission board. Their two groups had moved up to the mission board after settling on the level of missions they were going to take.
The missions are divided by how difficult it is to complete the mission and how many people are estimated to be necessary to complete this mission. The rewards are also based on their level. So if a group takes on a mission of a higher level, which requires more people than they have, and complete it, they'll get more rewards overall. While a team that takes on a mission below them will have less to divide among themselves. However, at the same time, higher level missions are more dangerous so it is at the discretion of the entire team if they wish to gamble their lives away. Level 1 are things like herb-gathering for other students or clearing of low-intellect demonic beasts from forests near establishments.
