"Prince charming? What's that?" Ningwu Liushan asked with a slight dust of red over his cheeks.

"It means Senior brother is the dream man for many girls~" Shen Tianyu chuckled.

"There's another mission nearby." Bai Yaoxuan spoke up from next to the group, pointing at the piece of paper in front of her.

"Hm? Sighting of Black Eagles... Wow, how unlucky is this area?" One of her teammates went over to read the description.

"How do you know that place is nearby?" Shen Tianyu asked.

"It's the forest with the same name as the one mentioned in that request."

In the end, the two groups decided to take these two quests that were coincidentally close to each other. Shen Tianyu's group took on the more dangerous one, the level 4 with the Demon Rats and Ghost-faced Bees, while Ningwu Liushan's group took on the level 3 investigation mission.

The students were given the rest of the day to prepare for their missions before they take off the next day. The two groups separated to do their own shopping.

"What should we buy for our trip?" Ming Yunyue asked as she had never been on this kind of excursions before. Even if she was from a militarily weaker nation, she was still a princess after all.

"... Food and camping equipment?" Nian Yingge also had not been on many of these excursions.

"Well, that's not false but we need to be careful about the food we buy." Lun Chang, as a merchant's daughter was more familiar with what to get.

"Dried food would be best as they have a longer shelf life. But seeing that we all have Cosmos equipment, we could afford to get some fresher foods." Shen Tianyu told them as they walked down towards the city. She and Ming Yunyue had Cosmo pouches, though their boundaries were probably different. The rest of them had Cosmo Rings.

"But that would take up space that could otherwise be used for armor or other supplies." Lun Aoman was the next most familiar with camping outside.

"I think we can leave everyone to decide what to buy since our tastes might differ. But what Aoman said is right. We also need to get some water in case the water along the way is contaminated. And, if you want to be more comfortable, we'd also need to buy a tent. If you would rather not, then we can just sleep on the grass or the floor of the carriage. Or we could find a cave to spend the night when it rains. Then we need to touch up our equipment and buy some backups just in case they break. Talismans are obviously very useful but there aren't many on the market. And considering what we're fighting against tend to live in groups, getting some traps would also be a good idea. Such as torches or nets." Shen Tianyu continued as she counted down the things they'd need.

"I'll listen to whatever Chang'er wants." Lun Aoman immediately agreed.

"I can even eat tree bark so I'm fine. Though I would prefer not to, they don't really taste good." Shen Tianyu voiced that she had no problems.

"Tree bark?" Nian Yingge tilted his head and with a concerned expression.

"We're fine with that. We can survive on dried and smoked food just fine." Ming Yunyue answered for both herself and her fiancée. Nian Yingge nodded along.

They decided to sharpen their swords at the city's number one blacksmith and maybe search for a secondary weapon and some armor.

"Welcome!" A boy in overalls, covered in soot from head to toe greeted them when they opened the door. He was about Lun Aoman's height and was wearing gloves for blacksmithing.

"Hello, we'd like to sharpen our swords." Shen Tianyu nodded at his greeting and replied with their requests.

"Oh, you're students from the Chengyuan School, right?" The boy asked with shining eyes.

When Shen Tianyu nodded, the boy's entire face lit up with excitement. "I'll ask my old man! Come this way."

'So he's the blacksmith's son.' Shen Tianyu thought as he led them down a hallway on the left of the storefront. The storefront itself was quite small and it seemed to be the only place that's cleaned regularly. There was jars of oil and boxes overflowing with trinkets cramping the hallway causing them to walk in a single-file line with Lun Aoman at the end.

"Old man! Students from Chengyuan School are here!" The boy opened a metal door and shouted to a buff old man at the end of the hallway. This seemed to be the master chamber, reserved for the blacksmith and master of the store. The old man's hair was already grey at it's roots but his bulging muscles as he pounded on metal would say otherwise. The clanging of what looked like a plate of armor echoed throughout the room. And because of the furnace, the place was also hotter than outside.

The five of them just stood there quietly awaiting the old man to answer or finish his work.

"Hm? What is it?" When the old man finally finished his plate armor, her turned to them.

"Geez! How could you let them wait! These are students of Chengyuan School!" The boy got mad at him despite waiting along with them.

"So what? Are they more important than my masterpieces?" The old man stubbornly refuted.

"Well. Considering there's a Wangfei, a Gongzhu and a Gongzhu fuma here..." Lun Chang trailed off with a smirk. The mentioned people just looked at her with a faint smile. They weren't the type to go about flaunting their status but that doesn't mean they don't feel a sense of joy when they're in situations like this and their positions get brought up.

"What?! You brat! Why didn't you say so earlier!" The old man clubbed the boy over the head and went down on his knees to grovel. The boy did the same despite still holding his head with one hand from the pain inflicted by his old man.
