The clerk seemed to become even more respectful towards Shen Tianyu personally. Probably because he heard Shen Tianyu talk so confidently and fluently about the herbs. "Alright." Shen Tianyu didn't pay him much mind, though.
"Do you want to hear about these too or is your head about to explode?" She turned to her partner instead.

And so, Shen Tianyu started to explain about the characteristics when picking superior-quality Winter Ice Herbs. When she was about done, she again swept the entire first two rows of herbs and moved on to the next one. She repeated this for the Heart Blossoms and Demon Grass as well.
"Then, I'll go pay for them, do you want to look around a bit more?" Shen Tianyu asked the man next to her when she had stored the last of the herbs she wanted to buy there.
"I'm fine with going back now but if Wifey wants to browse for a bit more, I'll accompany you." Rong Jian responded.
"There's nothing else I need here." She said as she walked towards the door.
"Um! Esteemed guest, about the Emperor's Blood and Leas eof Life, should we have someone pick them for you?" The clerk called from behind them.
"No need. Since you don't have them then there's no need to trouble you guys. I'll just pay for these." She told him as she indicated her Cosmo Pouch hanging from her waist.
The clerk reluctantly followed after the couple and calculated the bill at the cash register on the third floor. Most of the clerks would calculate their client's bill on the first floor but the herbs on the third floor were special. And so as to deter theft, at least near their store, they calculate the bill of customers that buy herbs from there on the third floor, away from most prying eyes. Eve if it's only a single herb, they will still complete the transaction there much less with the amount that Shen Tianyu was buying.
Different from the clerk's initial thought, it was Shen Tianyu who paid for the herbs. She had enough to cover them all and the transaction went through without any problems.
As the couple was boarding their carriage to go back to the Wangfu, Rong Jian asked a question that he had been curious about.
"So what are you going to do about the Emperor's Blood and Lease of Life?" Roong Jian asked her.
"Hm... I didn't expect them to not have them but it's not really a big trouble, I can acquire it elsewhere." Shen Tianyu hummed.
'I'd always had easy access to them back at Yaodu so I thought it would be the same even out here but forgot what kind of place Yaodu was and what kind of a place the secular world was. How can some herb shop compare to our stock? We're full of weirdos and maniacs and the old man who was considered the leader was a poison maniac, how could we ever be short of poisonous herbs?' She was once again reminded just how big of a difference there was between the place she called home and the world outside.

She had made some of the herbs into usable poison before going to sleep yesterday and would make more on their way to wherever they were going. They once again went to the Temple of Guan Yu, though there was a different instructor guarding there this time, and looked at the more recent mission board. Since they were finished with their required monthly mission, they should take on a more recent one rather than pick another from the required board.
"Hm... How about this one Wifey? Checking out a forest." Rong Jian pointed out.
