“《Goddess’s blood tears》”
The Goddess appeared in the sky.
“I’ll let you see real magic.”
“Stop it!”
The principal shouted, but none of the other teachers moved, either out of fear or laziness.
The magic circle rose up forming a sort of beaker around the snakeman as blood began to rain down.
Some of the students turned pale while others vomited.
Behind me I could hear what sounded like water falling into a puddle and after a moment I saw the beaker filled with blood covering the snakeman so he couldn’t be seen.
“This is magic.”
" "The Goddess disappeared and suddenly a large amount of blood filled the area, flowing out when the beaker disappeared.
“Kyaaaaaa!”
A bunch of school girls screamed.
“Hahahahaha.”
I couldn’t stop laughing.
Students were screaming and running away.
“You were interested right? Why are you scared? It’s obvious that there will be blood if you use magic. ”
The students ran as the blood flowed towards them.
“Hahaha! You all are disqualified as mages! Go back to your sheltered lives!”
Those who were trying to escape should just quit and go home. I however am enjoying life as a student.
“《Erosion wave》”
I removed the blood from the area before dispelling the magic. When it disappeared there was no more blood and no sign of the snake man.
“You! You’re not human!”
It was the purple witch who shouted.
“Haha! Not human?”
I walked over to her slowly and brought my mouth close to her ear so I could whisper.
“Don’t lump me in with you, like we’re both supposed to be humans or something. It makes me sick.”
I released her restraints. Not human, pfft, and how many people have you killed?
“Go.”
She looked surprised when I said that, apparently she had been prepared to die.
“Don’t let me see you again. And tell the empire, there won’t be a next time.”
She just stared at me, her eyes wide. After a moment she turned and headed for the gate, but I’d come up with something. After all I did have, that magic.
She was trembling, thinking that she might be targeted from behind. Well….as you wish.
“《Unreasonable robbery》”
Her arms were torn off and flew towards me, when they drew close I reduced them to nothing with Erosion wave. After that I pulled out a black ring from my storage.
The three dwarf brothers had made this. I walked up to the woman that looked as though she was about to fall and pushed the ring deep inside her wound.
“《Heal》”
And healed the wound over it.
“《Effect heal》”
I erased her pain too, then she was just there, kneeling on the ground with no arms. She said nothing.
“Go, back to the empire.”
She refused to look at me but she stood up and made her way out of the academy.
“Teacher, the threat from the empire is gone now so its safe right?”
But the principal didn’t say anything. Is it really that hard to say thanks? Guess I’ll just leave then.
“Nito….what, were you thinking? Have you ever stopped to think about the consequences of your actions?”
It was Patrick.
“What was the meaning of causing them that much pain?”
“Because the opponent is the empire. Oh, and Patrick? I would have been just as mad if you got hurt. People who hurt my friends don’t deserve mercy, you have to meet unreasonableness with unreasonableness.”
Yui hid behind Patrick.
“I’m sorry for scaring you, but I’m still me. Nothings changed.”
But Patrick didn’t say anything to me.
“Sarah, you were in the wrong. That time I was being swallowed but I’ve told you already. I am no longer being swallowed by the abyss.”
But she said nothing either.
“I see.”
Apparently they have forsaken me.
“Do your best in the school matches, prove your superior to those who made fun of you.”
And with that I left.

“Patrick…”
Sarah put her hand on Patrick’s shoulder.
“No……no. that’s not it, he……”
“He will become like that.”
“He wont!”
Yui watches this from the side anxiously.
“He was just upset because Toa got hurt, that’s all.”
“His presence is beginning to grow, and the fools eyes are already visible in one eye.”
“Thats not a problem, even Sarah’s master(teacher) was stained by the abyss right?”
“Its not the same as Adams.”
For some reason Alice Cresta passed by.
" "“Oh if it isn’t the prince of the special needs classes. Although you were really serious it the match today huh?”
Thanks to her Patrick’s mood grew worse.
“Alice, can you leave me alone right now?”
Then Alice was in a bad mood.
“What? I called out, to you. And even praised you! And you respond with that attitude!? Even though I praised you!”
She was annoying, or at least Patrick thought so.
“Oh my, is that the principal? Why are there so many people gathered here? Did something happen?”
Alice was talking about Robert and some of the students who had attended Masamunes ‘class’ earlier.
“And the teachers….”
Alice was looking to Patrick for an answer but he just looked down. Then Sabrina ー
“Everyone! You are forbidden from talking about what happened here today! If you have any questions you may come to the principals office and I will answer them!”
“What happened? What did happen? Patrick?”
Alice was becoming more and more interested in it.
“Lets go, Patrick.”
“Yeah.”
Patrick ignored Alice and followed after Sarah.
“I wanted to ask before but who are those two? ”
Patrick didn’t look back.
“See you at the next match Alice.”
Patrick’s next opponent was Alice.
“Gnnu! That passes me off! What in the world happened here!?”

Patrick hasn’t seen Masamune after that. Of course Masamune also refused to approach Patrick. Toa and the others didn’t know why, just that when they asked Masamune refused to answer so they stopped asking. Time passed until it was time for Patrick’s match against Alice.

Masamune watch watching Patrick’s match through the glass, but why was he here?
“I apologize for the wait.”
“No, I’ve just shown up myself.”
He was here because the principal had called for him.
“So, what did you want to talk about?”
“Its not a big deal, for now…”
Masamune was confused but the match was starting. Sabrina sat two seats away from Masamune and just watched the match without saying anything.
“As expected of him.”
Sabrina finally opened her mouth.
“What?”
“Are you going to play dumb? I’m talking about the spirit magic that he’s using.”
Masamune did still did not understand why he was called here.
“Was that you?”
“……..”
“I’m going to tell you now but, you know that magic is also forbidden right?”
Masamune already knew that, he was the one that brought the book out of the restricted section in the first place.
“Wind spirits, water spirits, earth spirits, there are several kinds of spirits. But that….is the spirit queen.”
It seems that Sabrina was aware of who Sarah was.
“I was wondering if I should disqualify him, I’ll decide once I hear your response to this.”
“Thats just Patrick’s strength. There’s no reason to disqualify him, that’s power he sought and gained himself. Besides there shouldn’t be a school rule about not entering the restricted section. That’s just you being lazy.”
“Lazy?….what do you mean?”
“Did you think that there was no one who could enter that room? That’s just your own pride, rather in the barrier or in the magic of Halekuwait.”
“Wait, the magic of Halekuwait? …..did you?!”
Sabrina seemed to have noticed that the sacrificial oath had been dispelled.
" "“You were prideful, so you didn’t write anything in the school rules about entering that room. The students just had an understanding not to do it. So in other words, it’s ok for students to go in that room.”
“Thats why…..I’m lazy?”
“Yes, pride and laziness. Patrick isn’t guilty of anything unless you want to deny him his aspirations?”
Sabrina was quiet for a while. The two people who entered the room with out permission shouldn’t be innocent but there are no standard to punish them because it’s not in the school rules.
Should she force them to dropout?
But once the contract is formed it can’t be forcibly reversed.
“It doesn’t matter but you know, did you help him get the spirit queen?”
Sabrina asked a strange question.
“What is it that I know exactly?”
“Yeah… you don’t know do you.”
Masamune doesn’t like being looked at objectively.
“Can you speak clearly?”
“Spirits are….”
Frustrated Masamune just watches the match.
“A Relic of Adams.”
