Two days before the tournament, Halekuwait suddenly moved next to Fishnatica. Once the shaking caused by the transfer had finished all the first years exited the building to look. Everyone else had of course experienced this before.
The students walked out the front gate to see a large dome shaped building with multiple pillars set between the schools, this was to be the venue where the tournament would be held.
But that’s not all, around the venue, what appeared to be a town had popped up where there hadn’t been one before. There were a couple hotels and several stalls where vendors were peddling food, it was very similar to what had appeared around the dungeon. This tournament isn’t just for the representatives, it was in every sense of the word a festival and students would be given time to enjoy themselves at the festival. Of course there were more questionable establishments such as brothels and bars as well.
Some of the students took off st a run with their friends beside them unable to contain their excitement. The main gate now had two destinations, one was the road that we now saw in front and the other was were the teleportation gate led. The method to use it was very simple, you just keep where you want to go in mind as you pass through and if you want you’ll end up outside Qatar like you normally would. Those visiting or coming to Halekuwait however would just pass through the gate and arrive like normal.
Looking at this Masamune and his three companions were currently debating whether to run through it or stay where they were.
The tournament is in two days, shouldn’t they go take a look?
“I’m going to go take a look, what are you three going to do?”
“Nems going too!”
Nem is of course a representative like me so she should have a look as well.
“What about you two?”
“I will follow along.”
“Whatever, I’ll come.”
Toa seems like she’s in a bad mood, I’d as if she was hungry but she just ate.
“Nem is first!”
Nem suddenly said as she took of running.
“Its not like it’s going to disappear?”
Nem is waving back at us telling us to hurry and Toas face finally began to loosen into a smile.
“Geez.”
The three of us followed behind the running Nem into the venue.

“Its big!”
It’s too big, in a one on one match there would be a ton of wasted space. The venue was absolutely massive, it could seat more people than I could hope to count. Even now it had several students already seated there… why though? Wasn’t the match not for another two days?
I saw Patrick and Copan enter from another entrance, what a coincidence. Copan looked excited when he saw the venue, he didn’t want to compete but one couldn’t deny how amazing it all looked. Then students dressed in unfamiliar uniforms entered.
“That..”
“Probably students from Fishnatica.”
Sufilia answered.
“Thats a uniform?”
They were dressed entirely in white.
Of course we had a uniform as well, although it was quite simple with a beige blazer. My companions and I wore the uniform less often that when we first came to school but it least it didn’t hurt my eyes like the other schools uniform.
“It seems like some of the students know each other.”
A few of the students where mingling together and talking to one another.
“Uhm, are you the adventurer Nito!?”
A student from Fishnatica suddenly called out to me with a look of longing. I’ve seen it before but I’m still not used to people looking at me like this.
“Yes?”
“Can I shake your hand!?”
I thought it was kind of annoying but I shook the guys hand and he left but Toa and Sufilia got aggravated because we were quickly surrounded by a flock of girls after that.
“Can I shake your hand!?”
“Sure.”
“Kyaaaa!”
Shaking hands was a hassle but it wasn’t too bad, I even let some of them take pictures with me. I didn’t realize how famous I was.
“Make way!”
I heard a voice shout from the back, maybe I should leave before we cause trouble.
“Nito, why don’t we head back? There are a lot of people here.”
“Yeah, let’s do that.”
Sufilia, Nem, and Toa all looked tired of looking at the venue.
“Then why don’t we go check out the town before we head back, there might be a bar there too.”
“That sounds good.”
Nem’s expression doesn’t change at all but Sufilia and Toa looked happy when I mentioned a bar. The four of us squeeze through the crowd saying ‘Excuse us’.
“Wait!”
An angry voice called out from behind me, well the voice wasn’t angry but I was upon hearing it.
“Are you Nito?”
My companions stopped at looked at me as I stopped as well to look back at the voice.
“Saeki…..”
The moment I saw his face I felt an intense hatred and bloodlust.
“What? You know me?”
Right in front of me, stood Saeki, I glared at him through the mask.
“Nito….”
Toa grabbed my sleeve and turned me to look at something else. From the opposite side of Saeki was another group of students rushing towards us, but that’s not what was worrying. I was used to seeing students rush towards me but in the lead was Kawachi. I looked around and saw Koizumi as well, in fact I saw several faces that I knew there.
Even though I was confused by their appearance there I remained calm and carved each face into my memory.
“About the tournamentー”
Behind me Saeki started to speak.
“Everyday Magicians practice their magic, and the work hard to be selected as a representative for the schools. This is a place where they come to be rewarded, to make a name for themselves and show off their magic. It’s not a place from an adventurer like you. ”
I slowly turned back to Saeki.
“I see, I understand why you’re angry.”
Saeki’s expression didn’t change at all, he didn’t recognize my voice at all either.
“You’re Saeki right? Nice to meet you, I am the adventurer Nito.”
I’m not able to do anything to him right now.
“Thats both do our best in the tournament. I’m leaving now.”
What the French, Toast? What did this guy think he was going to do? I’m on a completely different level than he is, although I understand what caused this. Even now people look down on me because they can’t feel my magic power and assume I’m weak. But this is just annoying.

Saeki was extremely angry….. how annoying.
