To craft the pistol grip, she grabbed a piece of wood from the pile and started using the tools on the crafting station to slowly carve it into a pistol grip, with a huge curve so she van hold it. But first, she measured and drew the outline on the wood before she started carving. As she was crafting, the fires inside the furnaces went out due to not being fed with charcoal.

After she finished crafting, she removed the steel plate placeholder she had used to cover up the firing and trigger mechanisms. She slowly fitted the buttstock into the back of the weapon and nailed it down to the frame with pins using a wooden mallet.

Once she finished her work, she slowly wiped the outside parts of the firearm and admired the weapon she had worked hard for. A Browning B-25 Superposed Sawed-Off Shotgun is the perfect weapon for clearing buildings or tight spaces.

She noticed that she still had time, so she cleaned the forge a little using a broom. She brushed the wooden shavings into a dust pan before throwing them away in a bin. She then organized the tools and put them back in their respective positions before a loud whistle rang inside the forge. Nirra knew that it was her reminder that her time was up, so she picked up her shotgun and placed it inside her bag before she placed her electric drill back inside its back along with its attachments.

After she was sure that she did not leave anything behind, she exited the forge using the same door she came in through. She then closed the door to it before she ascended the stairs and found herself near the front desk. She found Derek still reading his book while his father was looking for new customers. When he noticed Nirra, who had just come out, he walked to the front desk and brought out the thick logbook.

"Did ya finish that little project of yers?" He asked as Nirra signed in the space provided on the page.

Yeah, It's complete; I just needed to test it in the field now," She answered.

"Glad to be of help, lass; remember to stop by if you want to service it." Hendrick's face had a big smile as he returned the logbook back under the counter.

Nirra nodded with a small smile of her own before she turned around and started to leave, but was stopped when Hendrick started speaking.

"If ya ever return home to Redfield, tell Marcus I said hello, alright?" He crossed his arms as he stood upright.

Nirra turned her head back towards them and said, "You can count on it," before she exited the building.

"Dad, who was that?" Hendrick heard his son call him from behind him.

"Just the daughter of an old friend of mine," he said as he took a seat near Derek.

"I see, she looked pretty…" He said as he adjusted the novel he was reading into a more comfortable position.

"Oh? Does me son finally have a crush on someone?" He asked in a teasing tone while he had a smirk plastered on his face.

"N-no! O-of course not," He said outloud, returning to the book he was reading.

"Whatever ya say," Henrick said as he turned his body towards the door, waiting for new customers.

A hodded figure opened the door to a dimly lit room. She took off the hood that hid the figure's face, which was that of a young adult female with red hair tied to a ponytail along with green eyes. A scar can be seen on her left cheek, and her expression seems to be that of frustration as she approaches another figure that is hidden by a cloak.

"Lucy, I see that you have returned from the injuries you suffered," the figure said in a slightly friendly tone.

"Shut it, the girl did something to me that made me collapse in two hits; she could've killed me if it weren't for Lucas." Flashes of the hit suddenly rang inside her mind. The place where the girl hit her felt numb before excruciating pain rocked her system.

"Do you mind telling me what it was that pierced your skin?" The figure asked as he moved closer to her.

Lucy pulled out a small piece of metal from her pockets. It was all lumpy due to the impact on her tissue.

"They pulled this out when Vivian healed me. She said that it stopped the healing process when it was still inside of me. It took her hours just to get one out and hours more to get the other one out. I was asleep thanks to the potion they gave me, but they had to use a knife to get it out, and they also used multiple bottles of sleeping potions." She explained.

"I see. Interesting. A weapon that can not only damage the target to an extreme extent but also negate healing properties when the projectile is inside the target. The lord had truly chosen the perfect candidate. I want to know more about it later."

"That can wait; how's the summoning going?" She questioned as she placed the clumped-up piece of metal back inside her pockets.

"It is almost complete. We just need blood from that elven girl. So be a dear and kidnap from her. Bonus if you manage to capture the girl that gave you the injury," he said as he stepped back into the shadows.

"Are seriously asking me to kidnap an S rank adventurer? You're out of your mind" Lucy said in distain.

"You're an assassin right? Figure it out on your own" The figure said as he turned his head around.

In front of him was a magic circle that was painted in blood. It was glowing a dim red and had multiple figures standing on the circumference of it.

"Oh, I'll get that vial of blood alright, and then the contact is complete?" She asked as she stood beside the hooded man. "I'll even pay back that girl for knocking me out of commission for a day," she said as she gritted her teeth.

"There there, remember we told you," he said in a threatening tone.

"Fine……" she relented before stepping into the framing of the door. She took one look back before stepping outside the room.

"All is going according to plan," The hooded man said to himself as he continued to gaze at the magic circle painted in blood.
