Chapter 449

When we went out the front from the new house, a carriage was waiting for us outside the site.

I’ve ridden in a carriage a few times since I moved to this world, and I’ve seen them a few times when I’ve moved around town or to other cities.

Basically, the carriage here is the same as the carriage I know, but this carriage in front of me is a little different.

First of all, the size is different.

While a normal carriage is about the same size and pulled by two horses, this carriage is about 1.5 times the size of a normal carriage and has four horses tied to it.

The carriage itself is not only large, but also very luxurious.

The frame of the carriage is decorated with golden ornaments, reminiscent of Cinderella’s castle or a princess bed with a canopy.

There is a carriage parked just outside the grounds, and people from all over the city stop to look at it with great interest.

In front of the carriage stood Cell Stem.

I approached him, talking to him.

“That’s an amazing carriage.” (Ryouta)

“We are expecting Satou-sama. This is as to be expected.” (Cell)

“Isn’t that an exaggeration?” (Ryouta)

“You’re the one who’s going to be the benefactor of the dungeon, so to speak.” (Cell)

Cell looks at me with a strong gaze and says that this is as it should be.

After putting it off at Tennessine, and then putting it off again when circumstances changed, the “right time” has finally come again.

We are on our way to a dungeon controlled by the Cell Stem family, a minting dungeon where cash drops.

“Come on in.” (Cell)

Cell shifted his position and opened the carriage entrance for me.

 At that moment – thud.

Something fell out of his pocket.

 It was the usual statue.

“You’re too early! At least hide it better!” (Ryouta)

 He gushed.

With a sly smile, Cell picked up the statue and put it in his pocket.

For a moment, I could see it clearly.

There were two (?) statues. One was me, the other was him.

One was of me and the other was of Ryo-chin.

It was a scene of me and Ryo-chin battling, in a dynamic, super-battle pose reminiscent of Dragon Ball.

To put it bluntly, the embarrassment of being the model is overshadowed by the sheer excitement of wanting one.

“I hate to say this, but isn’t it getting more and more perfect?” (Ryouta)

“So you can tell, Satou-sama!” (Cell)

“You’re too close and too excited.” (Ryouta)

“…… Ehem. In order to express the power of Satou-sama, we have our craftsmen working day and night to devote themselves to it. We believe that one day we will be able to create the ultimate product.” (Cell)

“I don’t know how many people you’re putting into this.” (Ryouta)

I chuckled and got into the carriage first.

Cell got in after me and the carriage began to move slowly.

“How long will this take?” (Ryouta)

“About two days or so. We’ll stay one night on the way. I’ve already arranged accommodation.” (Cell)

“Well, that’s a long way.” (Ryouta)

I ask Cell as the carriage takes us through the city in Shikuro.

“The name of the dungeon is, I think, …….” (Ryouta)

“If I am not wrong it’s Californium.” (Cell)

“The most expensive element in the world, huh?” (Ryouta)

 I mumble and nod.

I don’t know much about these elements.

I know Nihonium as soon as I hear it, but I don’t know anything about Californium as it’s a minor element.

I’ve looked it up beforehand in the encyclopaedia that was dropped by Vanadium from the mimic.

Californium is the most expensive element in the world.

The word “most expensive” implies that it has a use, and it’s a hell of a thing, costing seven trillion yen per 100g.

When I found out about it, I thought: “I see.”

“Unlike ordinary dungeons, it is also a dungeon with restricted entry.” (Cell)

“Restricted entry? Is that the one you and your family are putting up?” (Ryouta)

“No, it’s the dungeon itself. It’s a restriction placed by the spirit. You can only enter if you clear it.” (Cell)

“An entry item of sorts?” (Ryouta)

It’s not unusual to need items to get into a dungeon, although there have been no dungeons like this before.

And it can be divided into two more patterns.

“Is that restriction to consume or not??” (Ryouta)

“It is indeed Satou-sama. It is the one that consumes.” (Cell)

“I see…….” (Ryouta)

It might be quite a tricky dungeon.

If it comes up in a game, it is a dungeon that gives you mixed feelings of anticipation and hassle in equal measure.

You have to earn money from other dungeons or whatever to collect the entry items, and then use the money to enter and conquer the dungeon.

In most cases, it is a high-risk, high-reward place with a high degree of gambling.

“We have prepared a sufficient number of restricted items for Satou-sama to manage the situation.” (Cell)

“No, it’s fine, since I am going there anyways.” (Ryouta)

“Eh.” (Cell)

“Since I’m conquering it, might as well start from scratch.” (Ryouta)

In the same way that I don’t rely solely on Repetition, I softly refused the things that Cell had prepared in advance.

“As expected, Satou-sama. Then, I thank you for your kindness.” (Ryouta)

“No problems.” (Ryouta)
