Huh? Where’s Sakura?” (Ryouta)

I looked for Sakura to talk to her after breakfast, but she was nowhere to be seen.

When I saw that Eve who usually glued onto Sakura was ecstatically munching on the carrot that Emily had made, I asked her about it.

“She went to the dungeon.” (Eve)

“Again?” (Ryouta)

“She said she had an idea and she was going to try it out.” (Eve)

“I see, so she’s at that stage now.” (Ryouta)

In that same stage of being excited and wanting to try things out immediately, you come up with one new thing after another.

And then you want to try every single thing that comes to your mind, and then you get excited about it, and then you come up with something new.

It’s a virtuous cycle that we all go through, and Sakura is right in the middle of it.

So we’ll let her do what she wants for a while.

Her level is improving, and thanks to Cell, Shikuro has a lot of backup for adventurers, including a rest stop.

Even Sakura who is new to this world will not be in danger unless she is in great danger.

“I heard about the magic fruit.” (Ryouta)

Shikuro dungeon Association, in the president’s office.

I opened up with the statement as I looked at Cell.

“As expected of Satou-sama, rumours circulate quickly around you.” (Cell)

“Are you sure the magic fruit won’t drop again?” (Ryouta)

“Not at the moment.” (Cell)

Cell replied with a straight face.

“There was a massive environmental change, and they are still investigating it, so it can’t be confirmed yet.” (Cell)

“I see.” (Ryouta)

“But the way it’s changed, it means it’s probably gone.” (Cell)

“That’s a pity.” (Ryouta)

“Shall we buy it up while we can? If Satou-sama is here, I can gather up all the magic fruits in existence.” (Cell)

“No, that’s fine.” (Ryouta)

I furrow my brow and chuckle.

 Cell would be serious.

“I want more information than that. About the strange dungeon. It’s not like we won’t need it sooner or later, I just want to get the information.” (Ryouta)

“I see —— if that is what you acquire….” (Cell)

Cell took out something with a strange look on his face.

He put it on the table in front of me.

“What’s this?” (Ryouta)

“Something to replace the magic fruit, I suppose you could say.” (Cell)

It’s rare for Cell to have a ‘serious’ conversation that doesn’t boil down to that.

When it comes to figures, he can cheat and digress as much as he likes, but it’s very rare for him to talk about something seriously.

“What do you mean?” (Ryouta)

“It was dropped by a rare monster on the same level. But at the moment I have no idea what it is or what effect it has.” (Cell)

“I see. ……” (Ryouta)

 Nodding, I picked it up.

First thing I can identify is that it’s a stone.

It’s a stone with cracks all over it.

The cracks were different from the norm.

I imagined that the stone was formed by cracks in the same way that diamonds are characterized by their “cut” shape.

Other than that —— I’ve held it in my hands and stared at it, and there’s nothing special about it.

“By the way, it was impossible to destroy.” (Cell)

“Is that so —– may I try?” (Ryouta)

“By all means.” (Cell)

Cell nodded clearly. He’d rather have me do it.

I loaded the +10 revolver with growth bullets and pulled the trigger on the stone, which I grabbed tightly.

Surprisingly, even the +10 growth bullet was repelled.

“That’s amazing.” (Ryouta)

“Satou-sama, how about the bullet that opened Carbon’s door?” (Cell)

“Oh yeah……. Ahh it didn’t work.” (Ryouta)

I tried Cell’s suggestion, but quickly realized it was a bad idea and smiled bitterly.

The +10 ironclad bullet that pried open Carbon’s dimensional door.

I shot it at the crack stone, but the iron bullet went slowly into the cracked stone which I was grabbing firmly, though it was being pushed by it.

I grabbed it with SS Strength and tried to hold it back, but it still couldn’t match the “straight-line” performance of the +10 ironclad bullet.

 It’s getting pushed back normally.

“Even this doesn’t work.” (Cell)

“I guess so …… Wait no!” (Ryouta)

I went around the other side of the +10 ironclad bullet, which was still moving slowly straight ahead.

I then fired another +10 ironclad into the first one’s straight-line path.

Two +10 ironclad bullets facing each other head-on.

In the small gap between them, I inserted a crack stone.

A crack stone sandwiched between two +10 ironclad bullets.

At first I thought it was a bad idea because nothing happened.

“Satou-sama!” (Cell)

“Yeah, it’s creaking.” (Ryouta)

Cell and I nodded at each other.

The cracked stone, sandwiched like a pair of pliers between two steel bullets began to creak and squeak.

+The +10 ironclad bullet just goes straight ahead no matter what, its push power is so strong that even I with SS Strength, can’t stop it.

So it won’t work if I push it on my own.

But it’s a different story if it’s the +10 ironclad bullet that pushes it.

Even the walls of the dimension are held back by the iron bullets, which crush the stones in the cracks.

It’s a great way to get the most out of your day.

It keeps its original shape until the last moment, but the moment it exceeds the limit–

“Look out!”

The cracked stone started making a sharp and nonresonant sound, like two pieces of metal striking against the other.

”Pow!” With an eardrum-shattering explosion, the stone crack burst open.

Fragments flew at me, but I swatted them away with my hand.

“Satou-sama!” (Cell)

“I’m alright. What’s more —— is this what’s inside?” (Ryouta)

I picked it up off the ground.

In the midst of the scattered fragments of what used to be the outside of the crack stone, there is one thing that is clearly different.

“Is it some kind of …… seed?” (Cell)

“Looks like it.” (Ryouta)

I put a little pressure on the hand that holds it.

Apparently, unlike the crack stone, this one seems to be as hard as it looks.

Even an ordinary non-adventurer from the city could break it with a little effort.

I stopped myself from putting any more pressure on it.

The stone in the fissure was incredibly hard, and I knew from experience that I was going to have to break it.

But this one was softer, and clearly “breaking” was not an obstacle.

“What am I supposed to do, drink it?” (Ryouta)

I pinched the seed with two fingers and tried to look through the light, but it didn’t reveal anything.

It didn’t even look like a Nihonium seed.

“Can you hold it for me?” (Ryouta)

“Mm.” (Cell)

I handed it to CEll to look at, and he could hold it normally, and nothing happened.

“Either nothing happens, or I think there’s something there.” (Ryouta)

“I agree.” (Cell)

 Cell agreed with me.

It’s hard to imagine that there’s nothing to be found after breaking through such a hard shell.

“Hmm, I don’t know what to do.” (Ryouta)

“Can’t …… Satou-sama take care of it?” (Cell)

“Me?” (Ryouta)

“Mm.” (Cell)

Cell nodded, his face clear and unruffled.

If I keep it, I’ll figure it out one way or another.

I guess it’s a good idea for me to keep it.

It’s a trust, and I don’t feel bad about that.

“Okay, I’ll keep it.” (Ryouta)

I decided to keep the seed.

 Californium dungeon.

After that, Cell and I split up and I came here.

I don’t know what I’m going to use the seeds for, and Sakura is also diving in the dungeon.

So I went back to what I do best.

I decided to use the tickets I’d collected with the others in Fermium.

I enter the dungeon and use the ticket.

The ticket glowed —– and then…

“What?” (Ryouta)

That seed was also glowing together.
