Chapter 17: Ch 16: Creatures of the Grimm Class.

*alarm clock going off*
"Ughh." Kyra groans before selecting the 10mm pistol from the favorited items and shooting the alarm clock. Then storing the gun away.
"Ahh! What!" Blake wakes up yelling her ears ringing from the gun being shot.
While Kyra was going back to sleep.
"Yeah.... she's not a morning person." Yang says picking her ear with her pinky hoping it stops ringing.
"The alarm clock deserved it. I was having a really nice dream." Ruby says looking annoyed sitting up behind Yang.
"Should we decorate our room?" Weiss asks waking up pulling off her ear muffs she wore to sleep.
"Great idea!" Blake says
"Yep lets do this!" Yang says
Ruby suddenly blows a whistle Kyra handed her.
"Time for our first mission! Operation extreme home makeover! Dorm edition!" Ruby says reading the paper Kyra gave her.
Kyra suddenly takes off to her corner and starts installing a shelf. Then puts together a computer on said shelf.
"What's she doing?" Weiss asks
"Don't asks she seems to be in one of those zones again." Yang says

"Alright well done! Objective compete." Ruby says
"Well done miss Rose." A British voice says
"Kyraa... what did you do?" Yang asks and looks over to see 1/3 of the way rebuilt power armor a taken apart gun on the weapon workbench and finally a not so little overhang holding a large monitor with a large Pc and server set up behind it.
"Every one meet Just A Rather Very Intelligent System. Or Jarvis." Kyra says motioning towards the computer set up in her corner.
"You built an AI!?" Weiss shouts
"Well done Kyra!" Ruby says
"Now for our second order of business classes." Ruby says
"Your first class is at 9 and it is now 8:55 I suggest you run." Jarvis says with a bit of humor.
"To class!" Ruby shouts really loudly bursting into petals.
"See you guys there!" Kyra yells and Soru's away
"If they are going to do that! I am too" Yang shouts attempting to Soru again after her last failed attempt put a hole in their house.
Weiss and Blake begin running.
Team JNPR also heard them and started running too.
"I won this time!" Kyra says getting to the Class room before Ruby.
"Well done." Ruby says with a smile.
"HELP!" Yang screams as she bursts through the door.
Almost a minute later Weiss, Blake, and team JNPR show up. And see a door that looks like it's from the TV show hole in the wall.

"Monsters! Demons... Prowlers of the night. Yes the creature of the Grimm have many names. But I, merely refer to them as Prey." Professor Port starts off.
Kyra suddenly raises her hand.
"Yes, Miss Stark?" Port asks
"That Blunderbuss battle axe cross over, your weapon sir?" Kyra asks
"Yes the Blowhard, it is it has served me many years." Port says pulling it off of the display.
(A/N: yes that is it's name...)
"Have you ever thought of maybe upgrading? Stark industries has a prototype gun I call the Model Lancer it is an ȧssault rifle with a chain saw attached underneath the barrel." Kyra says before she looks at her Pip-boy and equips it.
Kyra pushes the buŧŧon.
*chainsaw roaring to life*
"I just finished and was thinking it would be useful to hunters who like to fight close combat but keep fighting mostly ranged." Kyra says
"It certainly is a way to improve upon the bayonets. I was almost tempted to buy the... what do you call it? The M-14 rifle with the large bayonet attached. However I am more of an Axe user and not a spear. So I didn't really want to commit at the time. May I try it?" Port asks
"Most definitely." Kyra says handing him the Model Lancer from Gears of war.
"I shall use this in our lesson later today and give you my answer after class." Port says putting it on his desk.
"Anyway where was I? Ah yes. Vale as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens from the otherwise treacherous world." Port says
'Not wrong but it's more like vale has a defensive strategic advantage with a shallow coast line so we can see any big ocean Grimm early and near impossible mountains to cross over.' Kyra thinks going over the advantages that each country have in her head.

A while later in the lesson.
"Now on to the practical part, be aware it is near impossible to hold a creature of the Grimm captive for an extended time. They either escape or die, we are ȧssuming it is from starvation. However we don't know much about the Grimm besides their weak parts. This is the part where I would normally have one of you volunteer to come up and fight against a boarbatusk. It is to go over what we talked about today. Since it is the only creature we could safely release in the classroom." Port says
"How many bullets does it have Miss Stark?" Port asks
"60 rounds sir." Kyra says
"That's quite a lot well done." Port says before releasing the creature.
"Now class take note." he says shooting both tusks of the charging boar perfectly and they crack.
"Back before we had weapons that physical bullets we used to shoot dust cartridges. And things like the bone structures on grimm were the strong part that you were not supposed to aim for." Port says
Dodging in a Roll. Before taking two more shots and knocking one of the tusks off.
"A lot of weapons professionals hunters use today are still using dust because it is more efficient and combines with your aura to do more damage if you hit a weak spot. Compared to a lead bullet." Port says shooting the Boar Grimm in the side purposely missing the vital areas.
"How ever it is a great alternative for civilians with to defend themselves with if they do not have a strong aura. You must hit the vital points with lead bullets or the Grimm will not die. While an Dust and Aura bullet would have killed it there. So both have their benefits cause the Grimm's armor breaks easily under led bullets compared to Dust cartridges. Now if you wanted to fight this Boarbatusk physically." Port says and finally stops dodging the Grimm and kicks it under the head with enough force to flip it on to its back.
"The stomach is the best weak spot to go for." Port says turning on the Chainsaw and proceeds to plunge the chainsaw into the stomach.
As it spins kicking up black particles everywhere before the Grimm disperses into black particles.
"Like so." Port says
"That was actually kinda bad ȧss." Yang says shocked the old man did that.
"Miss Stark, how much for the gun?" Port asks
"To be honest Ozpin asked me to make it for you with some of the money that was normally donated to the academies." Kyra says lying through her teeth she made it cause she was bored and couldn't be bothered to come up with a price.
"I will need to thank him later. What round is chambered in? And may I take apart and modify it as I wish?" Port asks
"It's your fun now and it is chambered in ..308 the same bullet the M-14s use." Kyra says
